“nice staff but i was early for my eye test had one test then had to waiit for another test and sat around for about 2 hours i said ive been up very early and need to get it done as soon as possible then tried to charge me but on the letter it said it was a free test so i showed letter and got it free got to go back for some more glasses but will go on a weekend this time”

“HI THEIR SORRY FOR THE DELAY IN GETTING BACK TO YOU. I have ALWAYS FOUND THE STAFF AT RIPLEY TO BE MOST HELPFUL AND OBLIGING.I WOULD GIVE THEM 100% FOR THEIR CARE AND ATTENTION. MY NHS EARNING AIDES ARE WORKING JUST FINE AND MY GLASSES ARE JUST AS GOOD. HOWEVER A LEN'S DID DROPE OUT BUT WAS FIXED ON THE SPOT.”

“Appointments made for 9.25am and 10.15am for 2x children eye tests. Arrived on time, only receptionist there. 2 x staff walked in at 9.30am. No communication about our appointments. Sat patiently waiting whilst another male customer got called through. Sat til 09.47, still no communication on why they were running late, or what was happening etc. So unprofessional, and rude. Had no option but to leave as felt that their standards towards customer service does not matter to them. More correspondence from them in lead up to appointments to make sure we are going to attend and be on time though, ironic.”

“Would like to say a massive thank you to a lovely lady at the Market Deeping branch called Jeanette Green...Not only did she help me choose my glasses but this kind lady went above and beyond to help me get my glasses sorted...she is always happy to help and is such a lovely lady...just wanted to give some positive feedback and hope she sees this xx”

“Thank you to all the staff at Pocklington Scrivens. Richard the optician was friendly, thorough & very helpful. I suffer from anxiety & he could not have been kinder & explained absolutely everything. The girls who did the fittings were all exceptionally friendly & super helpful when helping choosing frames. I highly recommend Scrivens Pocklington & wouldn’t dream of returning to any of the large high street opticians.”

“Customer service. For a company who deals with hearing issues the option to online contact is appalling. I've had no aids for over 6 weeks awaiting a hospital referral drs still not received. I can not phone you as I can't hear. Off work over 6 weeks now as I work in a call centre so unable to do my job.”

“Jeannette at Market Deeping is an absolute star. Just a delight to deal with. Incredibly professional and without saying a word is able to get you in the perfect set of glasses. (She has promised me she will only use her powers for good!). Highly recommend Scrivens especially the team in Market Deeping.”

“I have been with them for over 30 years, and have on occasions had to use others. However, the service and quality of the products produced are far superior to that of the competitors I have used. Sarah, at the Hagley Road West branch, was superb in getting my prescription sorted.”

“I was delighted with the service I received recently in the Wimborne opticians. A delightful lady helped me to choose new frames and couldn’t have been more helpful. I was also pleased to receive a bill which was less than I expected. Can’t wait now get my new frames.”

“Excellent service from start to finish in Hoe Street Walthamstow branch. Ladies so helpful and very patient with me as I only like a certain type of frame. Have used Scrivens for years and definitely recommend them. Such good service Thank you.”

“My criticism is not of my local branch (Palmers Green), which is fine, but of your website. I have just tried to book an earwax removal appointment; I know my local branch do them as the told me so just a couple of weeks ago. There is no way to do it. I'll have to ring them - or I may just go to Specsavers instead.”
