“I cannot walk far and was so pleased and relieved that Scrivens was in our town centre and therefore easier for me to go to. Making an appointment was easy as well and the reception so kind and understanding. So was the audiologist and I felt I was in very good hands. I was well looked after with everything shown and explained to me as a laywoman having my very first hearing aid fit for me. Now I am coping well and being on my own I can manage well and at last I can understand what people are saying on television ie not seeing pictures only. Thank you all at East Grinstead for your kindness during a very difficult time for me.”

“I find Scrivens of Scrivens, Princess Victoria Street, Bristol, extremely reliable, efficient, quick to understand your personal situation & needs & if you are on a budget, Scrivens are very very affordable. Nina the Manageress, as well as being a consumate professional, has a genuinely friendly manner, a great sense of humour, & a real interest in people. Having an appointment there definitely brightens the day!”

“I booked an appointment this autumn with Scrivens in Upper St Giles Street, Norwich and they have been completely brilliant. Judy McBride runs a strong team, she & all her staff are lovely, friendly, helpful & have a warm professional manner. I was advised by my optician to have varifocals and felt supported by Judy & her staff in trying them, and finding the right frames was fun as there was a plenty of choice in style & price. I highly recommend this particular branch of Scrivens as my experience of being their customer/patient has been perfect 10/10. Thank you.”

“Thank you so much for everything, Catia was great, kind and very knowledgeable when helping my daughter choose a new pair of glasses at the Ely branch. “I had an issue with the length of the tube they changed it with no trouble. I can remember going to scrivens in Birmingham in 1950 to get my glasses with my mom but I now live in weston super mare thank you verry much great service”

“Excellent service from Blandford Forum staff yesterday. Needed replacement for a nose-pad on 7-year-old glasses. Unsurprisingly, no longer available but staff persisted until they found current pad that fitted and worked well. Really appreciated their determination to help - and no charge. Well done!”

“Scrivens Opticians at Milton Keynes offers very professional service. I was completely satisfied with my annual optical check up I was not kept waiting . Parking is easy. All the staff were efficient, especially George!”

“This morning I called into my local branch of Scrivens Opticians in Princess Victoria Street, Clifton, Bristol. Nina, the Manageress greeted me cheerfully and asked how she could help. One of the nose pads on my glasses had come off and they were causing me discomfort. Nina asked me to take a seat and, promptly and efficiently, took my glasses and replaced both nose pads. I am very happy ! The glasses no longer hurt my nose and I can continue wearing my Scrivens glasses contentedly. This attention to detai, replacing both pads to match, is another example of Nina’s professionalism and reputation in Clifton Village. In a world of mediocrity and basic service, we are very fortunate to have in Nina, a person of knowledge, expertise and integrity. A person of high standards and excellence. This reflects well on Scrivens, as I am full of praise for such a service and cheerfully recommend this branch to all my friends. Full marks!”

“Picked my new glasses up yesterday, Kim was very helpful and made numerous adjustments to my frames until they fitted perfect. I have recommended Scrivens to all my family and friends so they can experience the same level of professionalism and care this establishment provides.
