“I can’t speak highly enough of my experiences of both Sevenoaks and Tonbridge branches of Scrivens. Matt arranged for me to see Hardip at Sevenoaks urgently and Gina has gone to great lengths with the paperwork for me to be seen as soon as possible at the community health department. She has been kind and sympathetic my need to be seen and Matt even took the trouble on New Years Eve afternoon to contact Sevenoaks to ask how I got on. I’m very grateful for the service I received.”

“I had my Eye Test at Scrivens milton keynes I have my glasses for a few months now but i am still very unhappy with them They re-made them with some adjustment but I STILL cannot uae them i dread my next appt with my consultant opthalmologist as i will noy be able to read a chart I cannot see in distance and i fear walking out doors wearing them I wish they had just copied my OLD Glasses which I am having to use for me it was a waste of money staff were very nice and caring M Beharry”

“I went for an appointment at the Sheldon branch in Birmingham yesterday and was seen by a fantastic optician Mr Pav Sahot, and was helped by Mobeen who is very professional in what she does, helping me choose new glasses etc. I would recommend that practice to everyone.”

“Fantastic, caring team at Tewkesbury, always go out of their way to do their best for you. Ordered some spectacles and the frame didn't sit right. They were quick to sort out a new frame and alter the existing lens's. Within 10 days I had a brand new pair!!!! Great service .”

“Excellent care and attention from all members of staff. Very friendly and welcoming from the moment I walk in the door. From the hearing test to the cheery goodbyes, the service is exceptional. Thank you so much to the staff in Sutton in Ashfield, you're simply the best!!!”

“Couldnt fault the excellent service I was given at Cleadon Park medical centre, South Shields. Most pleasant and efficient attention from Nicola. Postal service for renewal of batteries is also very good, and saves a visit into town. I have gladly recommended the service to a few friends.”

“Fantastic service from Scrivens in Chesterfield. Amreen Khalid did a very thorough eye test, answering all my questions and giving me some useful eye health advice. Tracey Jackson helped me with choosing my glasses, the lens type etc, and then the fit when I picked them up a week later. Certainly much better experience than with a previous well known high street opticians. The experience felt more personable, friendly but very professional. I was also offered a free hearing test which I took, and they spotted an issue in one of my ears, which I had suspected myself but never done anything about it. Sharon who carried out the full test for me today was very helpful and informative and I now know it will be monitored well. They also helped with my 84 year old father, who had been struggling with his old nhs hearing aids, and which we have been waiting months for an appointment with the Royal in Chesterfield. Sharon was very patient and thorough with my dad too and he came away smiling after she fitted him with much improved hearing aids. They do NHS and private hearing aids and I could not recommend their service enough. Thank you all at Scrivens of Chesterfield for a first class service.”

“I had such a wonderful experience at the branch in Weston super Mare! I felt very at ease (so much so I even stayed for an unscheduled hearing test!) and the eye examination itself felt very thorough. There was that feeling of it being a more traditional style of opticians, and by that I mean a very personable and friendly environment but with the attention to detail and professionalism that is sometimes overlooked at the major chain opticians. I’m surprised to say I’m looking forward to going for my next opticians appointment! Sam was lovely.”

“My husband and I have recently had eye tests and new glasses from Scrivens. The whole team where excellent taking care that the frames were suitable for our lenses. They took particularly helpful to my husband who has Altzheimers. They took extra time so that they got a true understanding of his needs and so he could make his own decisions. We definitely recommend the Chesterfield branch especially Amreen Khalid Optometrist and Selena Richardson Customer Care.”

“Personally just started the Chesterfield Market Place branch and have received really good customer service from Tracey and Sarah at the . They explained things very well, are patient - not pushing, waiting until I was okay to proceed.”

“Looking at the Ratings, at 4.55, I'm surprised at the missing 0.45. The service was superb. The staff were Efficient, Professional, Polite & Reassuring. Were helpful in getting my cataract operation done. Thanks for all your kindness & help”
