Awful customer service . Just rang the Sheldon B26 store about my Dads hearing aids which were faulty after just a few months and have had to be sent away. They cost over £3000. He had to wait a week for the hearing specialist for an appointment and now another week for the repair and we’ve heard nothing so I rang to explain Dads been without his hearing aids for two weeks. It was Iike talking to a brick wall. ‘If we haven’t contacted you they aren’t back’. Well how unhelpful is that. We’d assumed that already , no offer to help further and was sarcastic when I mentioned that.

I have been without working hearing aids for 6 months despite your staff attempting to adjust them, and they being sent for repair and returned direct to me not working properly: even after Miss Mohamed at Wickham adjusting them, they have failed again! I am unable to understand most of BBC news bulletins and any person that I am with can hear the buzzing of the left aid as well as I can! Wickam cannot offer me any appointments and Havant only October. your staff (faultless) are poweress to help because The System cannot cope with the situation: M'AIDEZ! Joe Vick

Hi, you sent me a letter to ask me to fill in a form, which you said was to help you to improve your service. The letter supplied a unique ID number, in my case 334907. I logged onto your web site and filled in the box with my unique number 334907 and also filled in my date of birth 21/03/1946. Your web site informed me that I had got one of the details wrong! I checked your letter again and the ID number was definitely 334907. So I re-entered the required details again and once again was told that I had got one of the numbers wrong. I have to say that I was pretty certain that I had got my birthdate correct, so decided to try to contact you... But sadly real life took over and the one deaf aid that I had left, after having to send the other one back due to it stopping working, dropped down my list of priorities. How many stars would you recommend I give ( If I could get onto the form )? Kind Regards Mike Ayres Born 21st March 1946

I had an appointment regarding my hearing on Friday at Kentish Town and wish to pay tribute to all staff members who complete the family there. Doulac went out of his way for me from beginning to end. he was kind and patient and went the extra mile. Mary was a pleasure to deal with. so professional and helpful and helped me tremendously. the gorgeous 2 ladies on reception made me most welcome and too were extremely helpful. I shall be back. Thank you Guys!👌💝 you are an amazing asset to your company.

I reside in Eastbourne and I had to visit the peacehaven store as there was not an available audiologist in Eastbourne at the time. Very glad I made the journey as the people there were very informative, efficient, helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this company.

After using another eyecare company for years, I decided to give Scrivens a try as it was a short walk away from my house. I booked a routine eye check even though I knew I had a glaring issue. It was confirmed by the optometrist, so she booked me in for specialist care. In May, that issue was resolved. During my 4 week follow up with that issue, it was decided to address the problem with my other eye. In August my other eye issue was resolved. After the two operations, my eyesight has returned to normal function. I want to say a massive thank you to the Leyton Scrivens branch for putting my name forward so see the specialists at Moorfields. I am forever thankful and grateful for that.

Fantastic care and service from Lynsey at the Chesterfield Market Place store. Expertly refitted my specs following my disappointment and discomfort following a fitting at another store. Would highly recommend! Customer Service as it should be.

Both my husband and I went for an eyesight test and also had the hearing test while there. A lovely atmosphere in the shop, very welcoming. We were put at our ease. Nothing was too much trouble and the emphasis was on providing us with what we wanted as individuals. Very thorough optician ensuring our eyesight health was spot on. I would have no hesitation in recommending the services here.

Went to Scrivens in Diss for hearing test and aids. I want to thank and fully recommend Zoe and Francesca for being fully informative and also being very kind and caring. I hope Scrivens appreciate these two employees.

I had an appointment with Francesca Lau at Mildenhall branch for a wax removal in August 2025 . She was very kind and professional and I would thoroughly recommend her to anyone .

After having an eye examination the optician said that there was a dramatically difference in the new eye exam . Feeling very unsettled I went for a second opinion plus extra exam of the optic nerve this test was negative plus no change on my prescription . On phoning the branch at Ashby I asked for an email! Nothing . To ask who I speak to . Very upsetting experience. I shall contact the opticians on Tuesday 2nd September. I've had a 2nd opinion.

The whole experience at the New Milton branch was amazing. The staff were very knowledgeable, helpful and patient. Really good old fashioned service. It's so good to be hear now and not have to sit in near silence watching TV with subtitles.
