“Absolutely excellent service from my Peacehaven branch of Scrivens. Following several disappointing, frustrating and mostly unsatisfactory appointments at some other opticians in the area, I decided to return to Scrivens, having been a previous customer some years earlier. I want to praise each and every one of the superb staff members in the branch for their professionalism and for taking the time to answer any questions I had. Every staff member was approachable and friendly, and I did not feel as if I was being “rushed through” the process. My sincere thanks and appreciation go to every member of staff at Scrivens in Peacehaven for an outstanding and highly professional service … very well done to everyone!”

“I had problems with my nhs hearing aids. and went directly to the shop without warning.The staff involved Mark and Ash (the audiologist) were extremely helpful in organising the repairs that were needed and kept me fully informed of the progress. The service they provided was first class in all respects”

“Visited Ripley branch this morning and was helped to choose new frames by Lizzie, who was very helpful and patient. I always find it difficult to find new, different frames so found it a great help on this occasion. All the staff at Scrivens are great and Nikki has been there for a long time and is always helpful.”

“I am very pleased a friend recommended Scrivens. The hearing test was very good and they explained everything The fitting was easy The aftercare was very good when I went back in for new batteries I couldn’t fault them at the branch I went to. It was Gosport.”

“Visited your Milton Keynes branch to get spectacle lenses changed after a cataract operation. This required the ordering of a new lense. The whole operation only took four working days from ordering to delivery. This was very, very impressive and the lady who carried it out is a credit to you.”

“I took my 97 year old mum to Scrivens in Mill Hill, and now this will be her new optician! Amazing service, lovely staff, and overall an extremely good experience. Had a not so good experience at another optician earlier in the year, so Scrivens is a breath of fresh air! My mum is very fussy, and for her to be happy, is really something. My mum also liked the type of eye test - they use the traditional 'spectacles' where they insert different lenses to determine your refraction / prescription. We are very happy!”

“I have used Scrivens ever since they arrived in Thirsk. Staff change but the service and care do not. My contact lens care and eye tests are thorough and carefully managed. They always have time to assist and give advice. Thank you.”

“* Everything was excellent. * Emma at Malton went above and beyond to help. * Another personal service from Scrivens in Malton. * The ladies do all they can to help and there’s excellent pricing that beats a large chain brand! * trustworthy * don’t go for the higher priced frames * don’t push extras on you * listen to what you need, * listen to your budget * give the best prices that are genuine. * 7 working days from measurements taken to receiving glasses (far better than specs who take 2 weeks, sometimes longer!) * friendly and welcoming staff who put you at ease * relaxed environment The ladies remembered a frame I’d picked out months ago! Scrivens in Malton give a truly personal and customer based experience. Can’t get better than Scrivens.”

“After 3 unsuccessful attempts to resolve a simple issue with the customer care team on the phone, in exasperation I went into the Orchard Square branch of Scrivens in Sheffield. How wonderful and refreshing to be greeted by Abigail who not only listened but went above and beyond to ensure my problem was sorted immediately. She was extremely professional and personable and a true ambassador for the company. Thank you so much Abigail. It is just so disappointing that the customer care team seem so ill equipped to do the job for which they are employed.”

“I was offered a cancellation appointment the next day after initially enquiring, for a hearing test,brilliant service as soon entering the premises,Abi conducted the hearing test in a clear and friendly professional manner explaining everything clearly how the hearing aid operated and how to connect to my phone and the after care service. Absolutely brilliant to hear clearly had to turn car stereo down, phone connection brilliant,a big t thank you.”
