I received my worktop quite damaged and chipped all over. I have tried to contact you and had no response. Awful experience would never use again. Worth paying more to use a reputable company. Now have a damaged worktop and out of pocket and had to buy a new one from somewhere else.

firstly apologies for the damage in transit of the worktop delivered, no customer should be out of pocket or accept any items that are damaged in transit, as a national company we have strict guidelines on quality control and order process. I will investigate your issues as it is part of my remit to see where the breakdown in process, quality control, customer service, service partners and our own staff fall short of our high standards. We ship a very large amount of worktop materials nationwide – through a number of delivery mechanisms – Our own fleet and a number of national couriers. On initial evaluation I see that this was a Parcelforce delivery, I will arrange for it to be collected, normally we would just replace but it seems that you have bought elsewhere – if so we can refund your order. At Savoy Timber we are a family business that has a 60 year heritage and we take our customer service very seriously as this is why the majority of our customers use us for their worktop projects for years, different generations of the same family trust us to provide them with a quality product at a low price – I reiterate that there should be absolutely no occasion where any Savoy Timber customer should have to accept sub standard products and I will pass your experience through to our dispatch manager and Parcelforce account manager (courier company) Finally you state that you have tried to contact us but with no contact made, we have 3 superstores, a national sales office plus a number of different email addresses, contact forms and web chat portal- could you let me know how you contacted us so I can look into this breakdown of communication. Your experience thankfully is rare and as such is taken very seriously as we have to learn from any breakdown in process to ensure nothing like this can occur again. I look forward to hearing from you with what exactly the products were that were substandard and the monies spent to enable you to complete your project so I can try and bring a better closure to your project. 1) 70% of the initial product delivered was damaged 2) Re-delivery did not happen for 4 more days - shameful initial response 3) 20% of the replacement product (after 4 days) was then also damaged!! 4) Collection of damaged product did not take place on allocated date. Waste of a full day sitting around, and they tried to pass it as 'the driver did arrive and left a card with you'. Tuffnells (the appointed delivery company) eventually owned up that the driver never arrived!! Horrible experience overall. Customer services (after consulting internally with senior management) offer a refund of just £49. That's a disgusting rebate considering that the product was damaged, twice over!. And the fact that I had paid over £70 just for express delivery to begin with!!! This is how they react when they get things wrong, co called 'great customer service'.

No edging supplied, wrong shape and big chips out of the laminate which would need to be cut off.

My order was supposed to be delivered 3 separate times. Each time I took a day off work to wait in for it .... and each time it never turned up. I cancelled the order after the third time and even now 3 weeks later, I am still waiting for the refund. !!! I suggest you go else where.

Bought decking kit online, waited over a week nothing. Sent an email, received a phone call the next day saying I had opted for click and collect which I believe to be incorrect. I paid for the delivery over the phone said it would come the next day, it didn't. So I phoned the shop, they said they had made a mistake and they would send it that afternoon or first thing the next day. I still haven't received the decking and the shop phone is just ringing out. I missed my first delivery, I called the name driver from the card, he had no idea who I was, called the office they couldn’t find my order, when they did they advised it was out for delivery, waited in and no one turned up, nearly a month later I still don’t have them

While everything was delivered in good time. I had to return one door. The amount of incompetence and lack of consideration to me as the Customer was ridiculous. Excuses were made blaming third parties. I had to wait a month for the collection and a further 3 weeks for a refund. I hope no else has to return anything they purchase. I had to call nearly every day and knew all the staff by the first names and knew who was most likely going to ultimately sort it out for me. I guessed right that it would be Tina.

Edge of worktop split for at least 8 inches and then again in the centre for 2 inches - unable to use

Did not read the e mails sent , dispatched without proper information, size incorrect, very poor customer service, dismissed my complaint without any valid reason

the delivery did not turn up it said it. on the day it said it would. No-one informed me that it wouldnt arrive on date stated . Although it arrived early on the next day, there was no appology.

Your delivery was a day late damaged, covered in grease and incomplete. Parcel force made a mistake but that does not justify poor packaging I chose you for the delivery as I had an important job to complete I failed because you did

Rip off delivery costs and VERY poor service. Be WARNED, their prices look attractive online but they will charge you a fortune for delivery and have the worst relationship with 3rd party courier contractors. I paid £200 for delivery (yes you read that right) and was told 3 times the product would be delivered on time, but lo and behold nothing - no phone call, no e-mail just a complete waste of a day hanging around for something that was never going to turn up. Anyone looking to order from this company for god sake DON'T go for the online delivery option or you will be burned! So now I have a Joiner to pay for with no materials, ground work that will be set back by 2 weeks and a day off work with no pay to swallow. Great, thanks Savoy Timber - a good lesson on how you screw your customers!
