“Wrong delivery date and delivered missing items and incorrect items”

“bit of a shambles really. Put clear notes on stating delivery date and to knock at 65 if no one was in and BOTH of these were completely ignored. decking boards were delivered a day early and were dumped in the middle of my front drive in clear view on a main road. the delivery driver did call to say no one was in but i asked him to knock on 65 and my father in law would assist. he refused and so i asked him to leave behind front hedge - which he didn't do. Prior to my order, i messaged asking a question and got no answer. 2 of the boards were bowed. overall, a very poor experience and would never use you again”

“Quality is really really poor, turnt up all chipped and completely unusable as it looked that bad and obviously damage old goods. Don't waste your money here , honestly.”

Good morning, I believe your purchase to have been damaged in transit and therefore would obviously replace these goods free of charge, I see you have not been in contact with us - so if you would like we can arrange replacement goods straight away for you. I will email you this morning and apologies on behalf of the courier service.

“The door that was ordered was not the same as the picture on the website. I have written an e-mail of complaint, but have not received a response. I would be grateful to receive a response to see how we can resolve the problem.”

“I visited the Wigan branch after I placed an order, to gain an update. I was met by a sales lady who was rude and unhelpful from the outset. I left the branch none the wiser. I would not use Savoy Timber, again. Many more timber yards locally.”

“I bought a glazed bifold door, firstly the mdf veneer on the door was peeling off on the corners so I will have to try and glue/clamp it as I don’t have time to send it back for the customer I’m working for is in urgent need of the door to be fitted. And also the fixings and fitting for the door didn’t turn up in the delivery only the door itself and the top rail. I’ve called and asked for them to be sent out and am not sure if they’re coming or not I haven’t heard anything, I regret to say I’m not impressed at all.”

“Only half of delivery arrived . Was orders on 11th April was informed it would arrive the 14th. Only part of order arrived told rest would follow on the Thursday 19th. Did not arrive. I have a customer waiting for me to complete works I was due to start on the 16th. Not good for my business.”

“Ordered a decking kit got rang of the driver to say he was 10 min away then 45min later he rang to say he was at the wrong place and he'll be another 20min, and i had to come out of work. Then unloaded the kit to find out that it was the wrong kit altogether not a good service at all”

“Had a 3 mtr length of work surface cut to size, asked for off-cut. I left my contact tel number with the order if there was any problems (no call or message) as I would have collected it (only 15 miles away) and no edging strip sent. Sent messages and was told it would cost money to send the off-cut out. There would be no addition cost in weight if you sent the 3 mtr length as I ordered and paid extra to have it cut, just a bit more packing and tape to strap them together. Was also told would post the edging strip out, still waiting 3 working days later.”

“There was not an edge or side of the package that was not damaged, Pure chance that the marks were on the back not the front. For the size and weight of the worktops they need better packaging or a better courier!”
