“The ease of ordering and the quality of the product were both excellent. The only aspect that let the whole thing down was the courier company used – Thurrells – which failed to fulfil any of its promises… Having failed to pre-warn me of the delivery date or time, they simply left a large piece of worktop leaning against my front door, totally ignoring the instruction to deliver to my neighbour in the case of no reply. I hope Savoy Timber will be rethinking the use of this company in the future.”

“I ordered a compact laminate worktop cut to size. I asked for 580 x 1300, what I got was 577 x 1295 so I'm not impressed at all. Although usable I could have done it better myself Will most certainly not be using Savoy again”

“PRODUCT WONDERFUL HOWEVER ASKED FOR A DELIVERY FROM 10 AM AS THE BUSINESS DOES NOT OPEN BEFORE. BUT STILL DELIVERED AT 8.30. THIS MENT A PARENT OF THE SCHOOL HAD TO COME DOWN TO TAKE DELIVERY AND STAND IN THE RAIN UNTIL 10 AM - NOT ACEPTABLE. WHEN I RANG TO LET THE OFFICE KNOW THE SITUTION, I WAS TOLD IT'S NOT THE DRIVERS FALT ? I HAD SPOKEN WIHTH YOUR COMPANY ON MONDAY 19TH TO CONFIRM DELIVERY AS FROM 10AM TO BE TOLD THATS FINE. YET THE AMN ON THE PHONE ON WEDNEDAY WAS NOT BOTHERED AT ALL, SAID HE WAS BUSY SO NEEDED TO GO !! HASTELY SAID SORRY, IF THAT WAS THE CASE BUT NEEDED TO GO.”

“Product arrived missing end strips which were advertised as free. Tried to contact savoy but never got through on phone number shown and now awaiting response to my query email. Felt delivery charge was excessive (being almost as much as item price) as I felt Scotland is still classed as mainland UK? Product bought was well packaged and arrived in excellent condition (minus the missing parts).”

“We've been going to Savoy Timber for years and years... And now that we can use their on line website to order for delivery, this make life easier and safer under current covid restrictions. The fact that you order on line but have the order fulfilled from a local store is far better as it allows better communication.”
