“I ordered on-line some additional composite decking clips to finish a job I was part way through and paid for a small parcel delivery of 2 to 5 days. After 3 days I received an email from a courier booking site giving me a specific delivery date. When the delivery date had passed by 2 days and I had waited in, nothing had been received. I contacted the courier who informed me that they had never received the package. After spending a very long time on the phone waiting for someone at Savoy Timber to pick up I was told these should have been sent from the main warehouse, but they had not got any stock. The delivery was eventually made by Royal Mail Parcels. I cant help but think if I hadnt chased up this delivery, I would still be waiting now!”

“I ordered Treated softwood sleepers and they arrived as seen at the yard, straight with a good finish. The delivery driver was excellent, very friendly and helped carry them through to the back garden with me. Savoy's wood is very good as it is stored inside and not affected by the weather like other builders merchants timber.”

“I purchased 400mm furniture board to make shelving, and the quality is excellent. Each board was wrapped to protect it, there was minimal warping and only one or two small knot holes across the six 2m lengths. I'd shopped around, and Savoy was far and away the cheapest, even with the delivery charge. There was an issue with the delivery, and customer service was absolutely brilliant in resolving it quickly and over a weekend no less. Honestly, other companies should train their customer service staff with Savoy so they can see how it's done.”

“I order some decking to arrive next day and it did not arrive, I had to chase this order up myself and not once did I get an apology my goods arrived 4 days later and I was only refunded £50 for part delivery costs, this should have been free due to the disruption this caused missed days off work and having to cancel workman. I will not use this company again.”

“Awful experience when door arrived it was left on front garden, the delivery company signed on my behalf must have been due to the damaged box and missing parts. The parts that were in the box were damaged. On calling Savoy Timber, they were rude and didn't seem to care about my experience. Collection company arrived without notice, and had to chase my refund. If they had been sympathetic I would be writing a different review. I would not buy from here again and definitely not recommend. Not once did I get a sorry! Just a miserable rude man, who didn't have the time of day to help get me a better outcome.”

“Online ordering was straightforward and easy. I got an acknowledgement early the next working day advising a delivery date and it arrived early on that day. The delivery driver was great! Pleasant, helpful and efficient. It was all a breeze and went completely to plan!”
