“Ordered online. 12 x Roof batons and 4 x sheets plywood, 3 of the sheets required cutting. As instructed AFTER ordering I sent cutting information to '' Sales Enquiries '' Later I received a phone call to say the order was ready for collection. I went the following day to collect, on arrival I was directed to the Sheets area. Sheets not out ready nor were they cut to size, They had not received any cutting Instructions and got 4x sheets from stock, they soon cut my sheets as required. I was then sent to another area where my ''Batons'' were taped up ready. At least half the order was ready. I usually go to Savoy at Blackpool, but as I live In PR post code they placed my order with Preston, fortunately I phoned and checked first. I live half way between the two and find Blackpool easier to park. Thanks Mr B”

“They have a good range of doors to choose from. My 'oak' bi-fold door looks very good quality (apart from a minor dent). Delivery was as expected and the protective packaging was excellent. There were no instructions but even after I'd asked for some, what I got wasn't very clear. For that reason I haven't yet hung it. The packet of fittings was already open, so I wasn't sure that I'd got everything. There was supposed to be a door knob but that was missing. When they sent one, it was more suitable for a kitchen cupboard rather than a full sized door. For an internal door, costing well over £200, this wasn't too good an experience.”

“Quality of the decking was great despite the thickness being less than advertised (14-15mm instead of the 19mm ordered). Have ordered multiple times in the past and keep coming back and will continue to do so, just not for value decking, will stick to premium. Great delivery service also.”

“Sent for 3 worktop samples only received 2 one without a label and to small to rrslly be useful had to ring to find out where the other was. Still not turned up a week later.”

“Very disappointed. The landing Base rail, Robin hood could have used as a bow, it was very bowed will have to put a saw cut or two to use. The main staircase Base rail had a split half way across, approximately in the middle as if someone had picked it up with one hand, which you cannot do. The spindles were not protected and they had black marks all over them as if they had been run over by a rubber wheeled vehicle. The 4.2 handrail was joined in three places and it shows badly. The landing handrail had been joined in two places with a sissor joint and it shows badly, where I thought I was going to have a nice oak staircase will look like a bodge up before I start. Ken mills. Carpenter and joiner. Retired Senior Project Manager for Berkeley Homes, I will not use this company again. And although the newel posts were protected. and had a good finish. Sovoy need to pay more attention to protection, of all of the component parts, and to who they use for delivery.”

“Placed order with Savoy Timber for 2 kitchen worktops, also paid extra for next day delivery. (£55) Tops were delivered when they said, but unfortunately they not the correct ones. After informing Savoy of the error, they dispatched the correct ones, which I received two days later. They were very apologetic and refunded me the full delivery cost.”

“The delivery was made by one person who could not get off vehicle, I just had an op and I’m 60 so couldn’t help, a very kind stranger walked by and helped. When we opened the item it was damaged in two places on the edge of work top. I guess the one man delivery may have caused this, fortunately my husband managed to cut around the one bit and we’ll can live with the other damage. My advice would be to check that if having work too delivery is a two person delivery.”

“Good wood at a good price. My rating was because despite two calls a week apart to change a 33" door for a 30" door and to ask for one cut on a sheet of ply both of these actions were not completed.”

“The kitchen worktop was more than likely in perfect condition when it left the shop! The state if it when it arrived in the back of a scruffy van full of crushed boxes some which border line destroyed probably would not have met the shops standard let alone my own. Luckily I had over a meter of green and was able to cut both ends”

“Delivery arrived but , didnt keep their promise for the third time of asking by ringing me, to say the delivery was on its way ! WHY???? Luckily I was in at the time.”

“I purchased some samples of the compact laminate. I'm not impressed with samples that were sent, especially as they cost £1.50 each. The laminate has been shaved off the inner of the worktop so doesn't give accurate reflection of worktop. These samples should have been free!”
