Product arrived missing end strips which were advertised as free. Tried to contact savoy but never got through on phone number shown and now awaiting response to my query email. Felt delivery charge was excessive (being almost as much as item price) as I felt Scotland is still classed as mainland UK? Product bought was well packaged and arrived in excellent condition (minus the missing parts).

5 star service apart from the receptionist who made me feel stupid ,I dont know the first thing about wood. Asking for advise but she couldn't get me off the phone quick enough. Otherwise 5 Stars fo everything else

Whist the product was very good and the price keen. Delivery was poor 16 days and only after 3 phone calls.

Usually have no problem with Savoy Timber but this time I have. Ordered two internal doors from Savoy because even though they were £40 more they were showing in stock. The other site I checked was out of stock but cheaper. I ordered the doors and got told that they would arrive at the end of September, I asked form them to call me just before they delivered as my dad has Alzheimer's and wouldn't answer the door, they said yes they would call, I called them on the 6th October, he said hello, I started to talk and the phone was put down. I got a call last week from my dads carer to say the doors had turned up and left with the neighbour! I have used the company before with no problem.

Good prices on wood, delivery charges could be cheaper. I wished to add some items to my order, I rang Savoy and someone promised to ring me back but never did! My delivery arrived on the stated day but part of the delivery was missing so I had to go and pick the missing items up the next day.

FLB door arrived on time a bait. Slight damageto bottom left hand side .Door was of an average build quality and 20 mm more in the width than stated so additional work required to shoot into existing frame.

I found the experience mixed overall. The selection was OK, though not the best, though Savoy had stock of decking materials when many other places didn't. The shipping cost struck me as rather high, though the prices were decent. However, one set of timber I ordered was the wrong size, which impacted my build. Customer service was relatively quick to respond, but it wasn't exactly an ideal situation.

Ordering to delivery and communication was good only comment I thought the stringer would have been cut from one peice of timber and not made up from two

Work top looks great, very happy with it. Two problems was the email to say when it was arriving was short notice after both my wife and myself was already at work. Being in logistics myself and seeing Tuffnalls, I feared the worst but very well packaged and arrived unscathed. One other problem was when my carpenter came around to cut the worktop. The underneath became a messy looking cut. This also arrived a week earlier than expected so was very happy.

Delivery was very slow and the delivery day confirmed on the email didn't include a date. I then discovered delivery would be the following week. However, all arrived safe and sound

Ordered 6m lengths of decking boards but was disappointed that there were about 2 ft shorter. However the delivering was quick and they have made a good quality raised bed

Everything turned up early than expected. I received an email on the day. Noticed a pack of decking was missing. Laid it and its a different colour tone. I guess that it was out of stock. Not sure if this impacts in the future. Going to get advice

I placed my order on 29th March, and even with COVID, I expected to be kept informed of what was happening. Communications were non existent, and it was impossible to get anyone one the help line. I would send emails and not get any reply. I was , had to be very patient. I’ve had good service in the past, so tried to keep the Faith, but when you don’t know any time scale it’s a bit annoying. My wife spent days and days on the phone trying to get though, every couple of weeks, to be told the fence panels were missing, then next time they were waiting for posts!! Seamed parts of my order were being sold, so the order was never complete. Well August 18th and I have my order, well most of it, so very pleased. Might get my garden sorted before autumn, just the fencing spikes to come over the next day or so. Just wish Savoy could have better communications in place, to save 5 months of not really knowing the status of the order, especially when the phone lines are over subscribed.

Good product at a good price...but customer service was awful! I had to chase my order up twice. The first time I was bluntly told to contact my local branch. I then had no reply from my local branch (Wigan) Chased it up again and received a very short email to say they had now dispatched it. No apology or reason for the delay. Won't use this company again purely down to the customer service level
