I ordered a compact laminate worktop cut to size. I asked for 580 x 1300, what I got was 577 x 1295 so I'm not impressed at all. Although usable I could have done it better myself Will most certainly not be using Savoy again

PRODUCT WONDERFUL HOWEVER ASKED FOR A DELIVERY FROM 10 AM AS THE BUSINESS DOES NOT OPEN BEFORE. BUT STILL DELIVERED AT 8.30. THIS MENT A PARENT OF THE SCHOOL HAD TO COME DOWN TO TAKE DELIVERY AND STAND IN THE RAIN UNTIL 10 AM - NOT ACEPTABLE. WHEN I RANG TO LET THE OFFICE KNOW THE SITUTION, I WAS TOLD IT'S NOT THE DRIVERS FALT ? I HAD SPOKEN WIHTH YOUR COMPANY ON MONDAY 19TH TO CONFIRM DELIVERY AS FROM 10AM TO BE TOLD THATS FINE. YET THE AMN ON THE PHONE ON WEDNEDAY WAS NOT BOTHERED AT ALL, SAID HE WAS BUSY SO NEEDED TO GO !! HASTELY SAID SORRY, IF THAT WAS THE CASE BUT NEEDED TO GO.

The order for custom built garden gate was mad in late May but not delivered until the beginning of September. A text message was supposed to be sent advising the day of delivery this was not done and therefore the gate was left outside our house. The cross members of the gate were not attached to the gate and fell out during unpacking.

I ordered a 6 inch wide door casing. The one that was delivered, was considerably less than 6 inches wide, therefore, on the whole, defeating the object of ordering it in the first place. I'm very disappointed to be honest. In my world, 6 inches means 6 inches !

I was very disappointed with service - Whilst placing the order I was informed the decking were in stock and would be delivered in few weeks... Followed up and was informed they had issue with their Courier service providers... Four weeks later followed up again, I was informed would be delivered on Wednesday, only to be told they did not have space to deliver.. Instead it'll be delivered on Thursday... And was asked to call that morning to check!. Delivery arrived, only to be told they would leave the goods on the footpath.. sigh.. Discovered not all my order was delivered.. Later found out they didn't have this in stock and would be delivered on Friday.. Called again on Friday morning - only to be told they forgot? to put my order on Friday morning delivery.. I had paid over £500 for the delivery... One would expect them to at least notify the customer if the delivery is delayed.. Total wast of my time and workers who set around doing nothing for my order to be delivered.. extremely panful..

Dear Mr Baig, We are so sorry you were not happy with the length of time it took to get the product to you . Due to high levels of freight entering the courier network ,due to the covid situation, we were getting a high number of damaged items. we held your order while we organised a new way of getting the items to you . The one major thing I didn’t like was having no idea when my items were being delivered. The driver just turned up while I was at work and was very rude stating that he couldn’t deliver my stuff alone. He was very rude to me and said he wouldn’t deliver unless I helped. My 8 month pregnant partner was home and he was also very rude to her too. The delivery experience was shocking. But the online shopping which I done myself was not such a bad experience.

Delivery took much longer than expected. I specifically put a note to be called 1h before delivery arrives,but they didn't bothered to call. I've emailed several times to receive a timeframe for the delivery, no one bothered to answer. So I won't be using Savoy timber again. It's a shame,the wood itself was okay.

Delivery took around 11 weeks, which during COVID-19 was understandable but the communication from Savoy Timber during the same period was abysmal. Couldn’t get through on the telephone, never answered emails & no communication on deliveries, just a phone call from the deliver driver advising they were outside my property on a random date. On top of that, the bifold door order was adapted, as Savoy Timber advised the size ordered was to be reduced from order. A door frame they’d never seen themselves. All in all, terrible & unlikely to use again or recommend.

Ordered a sample pack on the 29th July and have still not received it .phoned to complain and promised to send another and still not received that either.today is the 15 th aug and still no sample .very poor if you ask me

I made an order of some framing timber and deck boards totalling around £1600 in May, I received no communication from the store (Preston) for 2 weeks and when I rang, the person on the phone refused to take my order number but advised of a 3 week lead time in my area. I rang back after a further week to be told of further delays, again the person would not look into my order specifically. After just over 4 weeks and several phone calls to head office I finally received my order. During the process I didn’t particularly feel like a valued customer and felt like each time I rang it was an inconvenience to them. I understand it was a difficult time re-starting operations after the lockdown but the way I was treated was inexcusable. The only positive I can think of is that the delivery driver was pleasant and helpful. The wood itself wasn’t too bad, albeit with a fair few warped boards. I wouldn’t give them my business again.

Dear Mr Brown, We are sorry you were not happy with the service you received. During Covid 19 we experienced an extremely high demand for our products. This meant for a certain period time we could not look into individual cases. We had an extraordinary amount of orders to deliver and we had to use our resource to work on getting all orders out on time. The management team had to make a choice over customer getting goods out on time or keeping up with our normal high level of customer service . The lead times on our decking products were 4 weeks at this particular period . Our team at the time were under enormous amount of pressure, as I am sure you can imagine. Though this time our team worked extra hours because we were unable to take on more operatives due to social distancing. They did a tremendous job in what was a very difficult time for our company and most other companies in these uncertain times. If you do have anything that you have not used that needs swapping we are alway happy to exchange if the products are as we sent them. We are sorry we won't be seeing you again, we sincerely value all our customers . Kind Regards Savoy timber

As a tradesman shopped here for years, when it reopened after lockdown very poor customer service no one answering phone, delivery times upto 2 weeks or when stock was in not a problem and understandable but didn’t ring on the day or before and just left materials outside property no warning.

Poor comunicatio. Broken timber boards, yes ok they replaced them, only with some that were from the bottom of the scrap pile, and one was broken. Poor over all.

Very unhappy bowed and knotted I know budget decking but no excuse and delivery was extortionate feel ripped off would never use again

Mixed bag for me, sorry. Firstly just relieved to find someone who had wood in stock, so credit to them on that front! Prices good and website clear. Was really surprised to find that deliver was over £100 but given my options went with it. Then it turned up with no notice, no email , no warning and was put on my front garden, crushing a plant. Now not a massive deal and thankfully so heavy no one stole it but seriously in this day and age! For £100 delivery I expected more than that, not happy.

1st order was great run out of decking so had to reorder same more..2nd order got lost so no email with delivery or shipping.Cant fault the lady i contacted in office she found order.it was delivered today with 5 short not happy about that.But the lady in the office said they will return with it tomorrow.
