For me personally I’ve found them to be extremely difficult to get any answers from the communication and customer service is really lacking. Even the most simple questions I struggled to get an answer for , took 4 emails to even get a basic response to what I asked and then my emails were completely ignored . Products ok although simple instructions weren’t followed by there delivery drivers. Changed the date of my delivery with no notice (had booked a day of work especially so I could be here to get delivery) 2 of the products have arrived broken .

My order was left at my front door because I wasn't home. I was told the courier would be touch with a delivery date and time but I never recieved that information. Lucky my order was still there when I arrived home. I have a disabled daughter and couldn't get her wheelchair into the house as the door was completely blocked with wood!!

The product that I received was of okay quality and a reasonable finish which is what I expected for the price. The customer service from Savoy Timber on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired. Poor communication from start to finish. I had to chase up the ‘customer service’ team on several occasions to find out what was happening with my order. I was then greeted with a ‘your delivery is on its way today’ whilst I was at work and the delivery needed a signature. Very poor communication through the whole process which was then followed by ignoring/refusal to reply to my subsequent emails. If you do choose Savoy Timber bare this in mind and prepare to send them a lot of emails asking what is happening.

Decking kit arrived on time and majority of wood was good quality but one of the decking boards was missing and several pieces of the timber for the frame were the wrong lengths. I sent an email to the aftercare team regarding the missing decking board nearly 2 weeks ago and have not heard back regarding the issue my order. Poor customer service.

Telephoned 1st to ask how long for delivery was told 7 days to dispatch. Ordered online and then went to 14 days even before Dispatch & Of course after payment was received . Quality was not the best some boards slightly under length the odd one or two split. Would I buy from these again No. Would I recommend No. If an order is going to be 2-1/2 weeks before delivery be honest and tell the customer beforehand .

I received a message that my item would be delivered on a Saturday, I called the day before to ask for a approximate time of delivery, I was told they where still loading the wagons and to call back after 5PM that afternoon. I did this and was told they couldn’t give me a time and they where still loading the wagons and hadn’t completed a delivery route for Saturday so I should call back first thing in the morning. I did this and there was no answer. I eventually managed to speak to someone at approximately 11:00 am who told me they couldn’t give me an approximate time for my delivery. I personally find this poor customer service, I appreciate the logistics and the issues with traffic at a weekend etc , but surly like the majority of companies that offer home delivery you could give an AM or PM allocation to the customer. Also when I unwrapped the item I found it to be damaged on a corner slightly, it was too late to do anything as the fitter was already at my property to complete the job .

Since ordering we have had no contact except Confirmation of order. Since then we have contacted them and managed to get a delivery time and a promise of tracking details then. We contacted Tufnell is the carrier and they have no knowledge of the order we will wait until after the bank holiday and press them again. This has not been a good experience. details. We had been informed of a delivery to their Currier on 30th of May and we will then receive tracking information however no nurses not happen we are still awaiting contact and Tufnell is the Currier know nothing of the order. Yet yet

The earliest available delivery was 10 days but even then it didn't arrive. When I rang to find out where it was, i was told the products were out of stock. how does that happen with something you've already taken the money for ? I was told that someone had tried to ring me the night before to tell me- how would have that helped, i'd already booked time off work to fit the panels And if you rang howcome I've no messages or missed calls, given I've checked the number with you three times

timber was good and arrived in 7 days i have now ordered the decking and told 14 day wait for this next delivery i think this is poor the timber is from the UK not Australia why so long when i have paid full delivery costs.

Timbers cut to wrong length and literally full of knots so impossible to screw in some areas.

website not clear so mistakes can easily be made when you put what you want in the search bar, also costs you more than the product itself to get it retuned and the right item sent back out!

Hi there, thank you for your review, Having looked at your situation i see that you purchased post formed worktops that were dispatched as ordered, we understand that you purchased incorrectly and require square edge - the listing you are referring to shows a post formed (rounded) worktop, the diagram shows a postformed profile with the measurement of that profile, the product specifications details the postformed profile and details the measurement of that profile. The worktop is in the post formed section of the website- not in the Square edge section of the website. We then as a gesture of goodwill gave a discount against changing the product you ordered to the product you would like to change to and have arranged it for dispatch the following day. I think all in all we have been proactive, fair and professional I am sorry you feel that we should have given you more money off but that would be unfair for other customers that order an incorrect product. Ordered a worktop sample and didn't receive it as per expected date. Emailed Savoy and they said they'd send another. Not yet received that either. Therefore, it doubts me to place an actual order in the future.

Order was delayed by a week. Savoy contacted me to let me know and that was fine, I understood that they had an issue with their supplier. On the day of delivery, I had to chase up to know exactly when the gate would be delivered as no time slot given. Couldn’t get through to anyone on the phone or by email. Gate did arrive and delivery driver was very friendly and helpful. However we were missing the framing timber we needed to hand the gate and again after trying to contact the Wigan branch I got no response via phone or email. I’ve since emailed a few more times to try and resolve or get a refund and have received no response at all. Had to find alternative timber, which delayed the job further and cost more money. The lack of customer service let them down.

On a positive note the worktop I purchased is of good quality and was reasonably priced. However, their communication is non existent, the traffic management at their Blackpool branch is a disgrace, there was no effort being made by anyone there to social distance, not even the staff (who weren't even wearing face coverings). First and last time I use Savoy, I shall drive all the way to Leyland to use C W Berry, a far superior place to shop.

Placed an order online, and received a text message the following day to.say that all items were ready for collection. On arrival I was instructed to go to the timber collection point where I waited for 5 minutes only to be told that as it was worktop I should go to the kitchen centre instead. Waited there for 5 minutes and finally got the worktop but not the edging strip that I ordered. Waited another 5 minutes for the edging strip. Then I was told to go back to the customer shop to collect the colorfil sealant, which the shop didn't have on the shelf. Then waited a further 5 minutes to get a tube of sealant from the kitchen centre! In summary it took 30 minutes to collect an order that should have been sat there ready for collection. Then I realised that the colorfil had the solvent missing from the packet I was given! Not a good experience to be honest.

My wood was soaked, took ages to dry before I could use it. One of the pieces was cracked the whole length, I doubt I can use this as the structural integrity is up for question. The delivery driver wasn't very friendly and my wife was worried about telling him we weren't happy with our order.

The goods arrived damaged and not to specification, I did receive a credit note almost immediately but there was no correspondence between me and the seller as to how to overcome the problem.
