Ordered some worktop samples some time ago, haven’t received them.

Hi there thank you for your review, our worktop sample service is a 7 working day lead time due to the volume of samples to dispatch, we are still within the 7 working day lead time and will dispatch within this time frame of course- we hope you enjoy your sample. Kind regards Savoy Timber

I thought they were free samples but paypal is going to charge my 99p? They only snet 2 of the 4 samples I requested with no information about when the others would come. I had to call them and they said 2 weeks. However, the product samples did seem of good quality just not the colour I wanted.

Communication over delivery was very poor. Found out it was being delivered same day. But the delivery driver was amazing! So helpful. Friendly and carried the good to where I needed it to be. Give him 5 stars

I recently purchased a small piece of worktop which stated with free edging. Upon receiving the item it didn’t have any edging. Upon calling I was told that my “worktop with free edging” didn’t come with free edging at all so I had to then pay more money to order the “free”edging. Two and a half weeks later I still don’t have my edging. I emailed and got an email saying due to supply issues it is delayed. Would have been nice to be told this. And now the irony. I have been asked to leave a review for my “worktop with Free edging” er what free edging would that be. The £10 edging I still haven’t got. If it isn’t included don’t call it “free edging”

Tried to order for next day, paid the next day carriage fee only to be told it has to be ordered before 10:30am to qualify for next day. Tried to cancel and get a refund and they wouldn’t let me as the unit had been packed already and they didn’t want to unpack the order. Product was fine just meant the carpenter had to miss a days work. Very unhelpful customer services I certainly don’t recommend and wouldn’t use them again.

Ordered work top waited a week badly damaged on delivery didn’t even let me know I had to ring shop waited another week delivered and again badly damaged on van . Then Delivered after complaining . Assistant in shop very helpful . But loading the goods or on delivery needs assessing as damaging the goods . Was not offered a delivery refund which I find really bad service and should of been offered as courtesy for me taking time off work as Nhs worker and staying in all day with no communication or apology

Unfortunately date of arrival come and passed having stayed in all day. It did however arrive the following day. On opening the very well packaged worktop sadly there was damage to one of the sides. Having waited so long I didn’t bother contacting them as I needed to complete the project and have touched it up with paint? If the item had arrived quicker I’d have given 5 stars but having paid a substantial amount for delivery id expected better service if delivery had been free it would have been different.

Took a week to receive sample and still not answered my question about cutting worktops so as a returning customer not sure I will be returning next time

Your failed guaranteed next day delivery and complete indifference to that failure ruined Xmas, cost me the same price as the worktop in builder's pay for no work and the driver dumped a 3 meter worktip in front of my door, preventing it from opening. Your offer to refund my £10 which was paid to ensure next day delivery was a joke, but you clearly felt it was all you needed to do. As for the manager in customer service, he didn't even know you offered guaranteed delivery and seemed to think it was a joke.

I placed a order for worktops and paid for next day delivery, and they wasn't delivered the next day. A week later I then ordered more worktops and paid for next day delivery again, and again they wasn't delivered. From order to delivery it would be almost a week. The product it self is exactly what I ordered and is really nice, but the late deliveries has really let them down.

Impossible to speak to anyone there. Then waited in all day for the tree to arrive after 6pm.. was promised two calls that never happened. Won’t go there again.

My original online order appeared to have been lost despite 2 separate confirmations advising me that hid been received but due to covid the delivery would take longer than normal. After 2 weeks I telephoned the Preston branch who found the order and delivered the materials the same day.

We ordered worktops and upstands they were supposed to be delivered together and confirmation emails and delivery emails said the same, no upstands arrived , informed yourselves were told they were going to arrive Friday 20th nov, and no upstands.

Placed an order for a 2m laminated worktop on 24-Oct-2020, which was advertised to come with 1.3m of edging material FOC. The order included two cuts to the worktop; to 1077mm wide and 545mm deep. On receipt I found there to be no edging material in the package. I emailed two accounts (sarab@... and enquiries@...) on 4-Nov-2020 asking for the missing edging material to be sent - no reply and no edging material received. Today I come to fit the worktop and find that althought the length is exactly 1077mm, the second cut was never made and the worktop is still the defauly 600mm. So 2 out of 5, I received the worktop cut to length, but the second cut was never made, the edging material was not delivered and no reply to email. Caveat emptor

Really difficult to rate. Product and customer service very good. Pricing best in industry but let down by delivery. 2 weeks later still havent received completed order with couriers blaming Savoy, Savoy blaming carriers and its now also Royal Mails fault

Expected dispatch didn't happen as communicated via email, I had to follow up twice to ensure it was delivered. Delivery company didn't contact to advise delivery, estimate time. So unfortunately after waiting the morning, had other commitments to attend to. Upon arriving home the top was delivered,and left on the side of my house. BUt upon opening the package, corners chipped, and front edge of the top had been damaged by some impact. Luckly, I need part of the top, and was able to cut off the damaged bits, for my installation. Pricing from Savoy Timber is highly competitive, and they very responsive telephonically and on email. But the rest, not great. Very hesitant to use in future.

I'm sorry That I am not impressed with the service I received. All I ordered was 2 small samples to see if I liked either of them. Unfortunately it took over a week before they were even posted to me.
