“Communication is extremely poor, waited months for my order, send damaged goods, then waited weeks again for replacements...I wouldn't give this company a penny if I needed to buy again.”

“Good product at a good price...but customer service was awful! I had to chase my order up twice. The first time I was bluntly told to contact my local branch. I then had no reply from my local branch (Wigan) Chased it up again and received a very short email to say they had now dispatched it. No apology or reason for the delay. Won't use this company again purely down to the customer service level”

“I ordered decking sample which never turned up, I rang up to see why and they said they'd send another, that never turned up either. Spent over £2000 on decking elsewhere, their loss”

“Probably the worst company for customer service I have ever dealt with. Nearly a total of 3 hours on the phone chasing promises that never happened. Spoke to 4 different managers who all gave promises. Has an email to say delivery would be w/c 20.7.20 they turned up 14.08.20 and 2 totally different colours. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY”

Thank you for taking the time to review our service, we are sorry that your order was delayed. You ordered 2 oak patrices unfortunately there is a national shortage of this product. In retrospect we should have informed you that we could not help but as you rightly point out 4 managers throughout the business assisted in locating and matching up two wall patrices for your handrail as we wanted to assist. “I bought a balustrade kit and it was made up of good quality wood. It was supposed to come with all the fittings required and it did except for the plain washers required for the coach bolts (luckily I had some laying around). Instructions found on the Savoy website were in .pdf format and adequate built difficult to find on the website. Overall I was happy with the purchase and balustrade looks great when assembled and fitted to the decking.”

“Delivery took around 11 weeks, which during COVID-19 was understandable but the communication from Savoy Timber during the same period was abysmal. Couldn’t get through on the telephone, never answered emails & no communication on deliveries, just a phone call from the deliver driver advising they were outside my property on a random date. On top of that, the bifold door order was adapted, as Savoy Timber advised the size ordered was to be reduced from order. A door frame they’d never seen themselves. All in all, terrible & unlikely to use again or recommend.”

“Recently bought loads of decking and handrails newel posts spindles etc for a project and I am more than happy with the quality of the timber and level of service However, the only problem is that on the first delivery I received a text message from the driver saying they will deliver in a couple of hours, I was told I would be informed the day before so I could organise a day off, however the driver assured me that he was fine unloading himself, so fair play, and the second delivery no message at all regarding delivery, just came home with all the timber on the drive, so a little bit more effort on communicating delivery with more time would be good otherwise fantastic great quality timber and great prices”
