“Order online and think you have got delivery after waiting a week call them to find out its been allocated click and collect but offered delivery for an extra £99 so cancel order then a week later Tufnells turn up start to unload before they knock and ask and he then refuses to stop and take it back. I call Savoy and check that they have refunded me so suggest they collect what has been dropped off, that is worth one star. I call them again and suggest they do not charge delivery and I will accept the delivery to avoid a costly return of the goods they agree, that is another star. The final star is for the lady that I spoke to at Savoy for her polite and professional manner. Tufnells are the main concern and for that two stars have not been given to Savoy for using a courier that has no interest in service quality as not only did they drop before they knocked but also failed to supply any paperwork.”

“Telephoned 1st to ask how long for delivery was told 7 days to dispatch. Ordered online and then went to 14 days even before Dispatch & Of course after payment was received . Quality was not the best some boards slightly under length the odd one or two split. Would I buy from these again No. Would I recommend No. If an order is going to be 2-1/2 weeks before delivery be honest and tell the customer beforehand .”

“Having spent £150 on delivery I’d have hoped my order would have been faster than it was, having said that they fulfilled my requirements some decking and joists were bowed but nothing that would bother me but I could imagine it would a professional.”

“Excellent service from Savoy but the courier they use is absolutely rubbish . They left one parcel from my order from two orders at the depot. Truffnel please count your parcels before you load them to the vehicle its not that hard.”

“I received a message that my item would be delivered on a Saturday, I called the day before to ask for a approximate time of delivery, I was told they where still loading the wagons and to call back after 5PM that afternoon. I did this and was told they couldn’t give me a time and they where still loading the wagons and hadn’t completed a delivery route for Saturday so I should call back first thing in the morning. I did this and there was no answer. I eventually managed to speak to someone at approximately 11:00 am who told me they couldn’t give me an approximate time for my delivery. I personally find this poor customer service, I appreciate the logistics and the issues with traffic at a weekend etc , but surly like the majority of companies that offer home delivery you could give an AM or PM allocation to the customer. Also when I unwrapped the item I found it to be damaged on a corner slightly, it was too late to do anything as the fitter was already at my property to complete the job .”

“Since ordering we have had no contact except Confirmation of order. Since then we have contacted them and managed to get a delivery time and a promise of tracking details then. We contacted Tufnell is the carrier and they have no knowledge of the order we will wait until after the bank holiday and press them again. This has not been a good experience. details. We had been informed of a delivery to their Currier on 30th of May and we will then receive tracking information however no nurses not happen we are still awaiting contact and Tufnell is the Currier know nothing of the order. Yet yet”

“It would have been 5 stars as the service and support were excellent however on arriving home with the 75mm x 75mm fence posts they were all found to be suffering splits and cracks. Whilst usable the appearance is not as pleasing as it could be. In retrospect if I were to purchase any timber in future from Savoy timber it would need close inspection before accepting it to ensure it was up to to the standard I would need for my purposes. I think this was an exception to the rule as Savoy timber is normally excellent in all respects !”

“Will not be ordering again, it took over 2 months for my door to arrive. Upon arrival the door had a hole in it and I was missing the door handle and hinges I ordered. I must say they delivered the missing items within a few days.”

“Man turned up with worktops on his own how he would have got them off on his own l don’t know. Gave him a hand to get them off . Worktops look very good so far and driver was a very pleasant. Thank you”
