“I am really pleased with my decking kit with both value for money and quality with the only issue being that there wasn’t any assembly instructions as stated. I would certainly have no hesitation in using again or recommending to family and friends Savoy Timber.”

“Two units came damaged. Only noticed when builders opened the boxes to fit, by which point it was too late to return and wait for replacement. Asked company for a partial refund having explained the situation and was refused.”

Hi Sir, We are very sorry you are not happy with the service. We state on our terms and that all goods must be checked with 24 hours of delivery and any damages reported, within that time. This is so any claims can be made against the courier for goods damaged in transit. As these goods have been delivered then fitted they are then deemed as accepted by yourself. The info you gave us was that your builder had seen the damages and fitted them. We passed this information to the manufacturer. The manufacturer refused a return on the basis that goods had been fitted. If we had been told before fitting of the damages we would have arranged replacements. We are sorry you are not happy, this is the last thing we would want for any of our customers. Best regards Savoy timber

“Promise after failed promise regarding delivery. Never rang back when promised either. Spent hours chasing them up. Would NEVER deal with this company again. Ended up cancelling part of order. Shockingly bad customer service.”

good afternoon, I do apologise that you did not receive all the fixings to your order. I can see that this was delivered via our Wigan store to yourself, I have passed this on to the relevant store manager and asked they give you a call to discuss the issues you still have regarding the order and we can have this rectified for you. “Your website didn't let me pick which depot I wanted to collect my order from and just picked preston for me because I have a PR postcode. But I live near Wigan so I had a bit of a faf to sort it out”

“I purchased 2 internal glazed doors online. The first ones that came through ere the wrong finish, however this was resolved quickly and easily. The team were very responsive and helpful. The product itself is of very good quality and I'm very happy with my purchase.”

“Not ordered timber online before, and with the current drastic increases in the cost of timber had a look around. Having moved to Leigh about 2 years ago I didn’t really know of a local timber merchant. I found Savoy to be competitive on price, excellent with communication about my order and the chap who dropped it off was really helpful. Not only did he unload to the back of the house, he listened some of my plans and made suggestions about promotions Savoy was running that may help. Would have no hesitation in using them again and in fact going to order some more timber for my next bit of work in the garden over the next week or so. Also having delivery available on orders over £100 makes a big difference especially for larger lengths. Top service and would highly recommend.”
