“Recieved my order very late despite several failed promises asked and paid for the worktop to be cut which it wasnt got a refund for the cutting service but for the price I might aswell have just gone to b&q if I knew I would have to cut it myself”

Hi Mr Hardacre, We are sorry we did not manage to cut your item. Due to some issues that were caused but the covid crisis we were unable to offer our cut to size service for a short while. “I found the ordering process online very easy to follow. I did however, find once I had placed my order informtion on delivery and confirmation of delivery dates non existent. I only received an email on the day of delivery with no tracking or timing estimate. This was not helpful as I had to be at work.”

“We ordered some decking from Savoy Timber and the product itself is very good. It came with all the pieces although there were no instructions. Luckily it's relatively easy to put together even for someone who's never done it before. The timber itself was cut to size and good quality wood. The box the fixings came in was broken in transit and had been sellotaped back together but there were more than enough screws to complete the job. I appreciate that we ordered during the height of the pandemic and lockdown. However there was very little communication after purchasing. I selected a delivery date and then had an email 2 days later confirming the delivery would be the kerbside. We didn't receive an update on the decking having shipped which I would have expected so I emailed on the day of delivery to check it was actually coming. They did respond quickly to that query though to confirm it was on its way to us. We ordered on the 29th May and the soonest it could be delivered was the 1st July. I think the delivery times are now closer to 10 days so this was obviously just due to the pandemic and deliveries being delayed. Overall happy with the product but there could have been a little more communication.”
