“Ordered a decking pack on line at the height of the pandemic expecting it to take a few weeks to arrive. However, the order was handled very efficiently and was delivered within a few days. Excellent product, simple to assemble.”

“Some of the timber was bent and had knots in that had to be cutout. Delivery cost far to much. Delivery driver very pleasant and helpful but did not hang around whilst I checked the delivery.”

“I made an order of some framing timber and deck boards totalling around £1600 in May, I received no communication from the store (Preston) for 2 weeks and when I rang, the person on the phone refused to take my order number but advised of a 3 week lead time in my area. I rang back after a further week to be told of further delays, again the person would not look into my order specifically. After just over 4 weeks and several phone calls to head office I finally received my order. During the process I didn’t particularly feel like a valued customer and felt like each time I rang it was an inconvenience to them. I understand it was a difficult time re-starting operations after the lockdown but the way I was treated was inexcusable. The only positive I can think of is that the delivery driver was pleasant and helpful. The wood itself wasn’t too bad, albeit with a fair few warped boards. I wouldn’t give them my business again.”

Dear Mr Brown, We are sorry you were not happy with the service you received. During Covid 19 we experienced an extremely high demand for our products. This meant for a certain period time we could not look into individual cases. We had an extraordinary amount of orders to deliver and we had to use our resource to work on getting all orders out on time. The management team had to make a choice over customer getting goods out on time or keeping up with our normal high level of customer service . The lead times on our decking products were 4 weeks at this particular period . Our team at the time were under enormous amount of pressure, as I am sure you can imagine. Though this time our team worked extra hours because we were unable to take on more operatives due to social distancing. They did a tremendous job in what was a very difficult time for our company and most other companies in these uncertain times. If you do have anything that you have not used that needs swapping we are alway happy to exchange if the products are as we sent them. We are sorry we won't be seeing you again, we sincerely value all our customers . Kind Regards Savoy timber

“Ordered fencing, notified of delivery within 7-14 days, i gave it an extra week due to void situation, still no delivery. Called customer service, then had to ring branch, who didn't know where it was up to and gave me number for another branch said that order mistakenly marked complete. Referred back to cust service promised a call back no call back received, I called again to just cancel order, was told would be called ba k when actioned, no call back again! After ringing again the next day order finally cancelled and refunded. Disgraceful service!! I do not recommend Savoy at all. I orderd from somewhere else and recieved my fencing within 2 days.”

Dear Mrs Morrison, Thanks for taking time to review us . I can understand you frustration that your fence panels were not readily available. Our team at that time we're working incredibly hard to get hold of these ,as our supplier was inundated with orders which pushed the lead time to 4-6 weeks . Only yesterday I spoke to one of the largest fence manufacturers in the UK and they told me they are struggling to keep up with demand and envisage catching up by October this year due to Covid.
