Although I bought a decking kit, a lot of the joists and deck boards varied in length, meaning I had to trim them. The first sea of buying a ready to go kit was that it would avoid any cutting. I also had to ring up to prompt them to send the information instructions (which were as basic and generic as it was possible to be)

Ordered an item online that was apparently no longer available even though it was still readily available to purchase on the web site. 3 wks passed by without any contact so if I hadn’t have contacted you I would have been none the wiser and out of pocket. If an item becomes unavailable it should be removed immediately. 2 wks further on and the item is still on the website.

Cut to exact length - or not as it turns out (despite confirming twice) - not even sure I have had the extra refunded. Customer service was argumentative, extortionate delivery cost and it still took a week and a half. (and was wrong)

Product is good but the courier used (Tufnells) is appalling. Not shipped on time then mis-delivered twice on the same order. Phone service I received from Savoy Timber was poor, although my order was searched for & found no shipping refund was offered despite the express service I paid for & not received. Could be so much better but repeat business isn’t happening from me

Whilst the overall quality of some of the wood was acceptable, there were a number of plank ends that were badly cracked and so the plank at 3m length was unusable. At least 12 of the 50 were affected like this John Hatton

Two of the six handrails were unusable due to splits and cracks and some of the timber was badly weathered turning grey. Managed to finish the job but had to discard some pieces.

Having pushased items and paid for them,I recieved an email informing me they were out of stock.waited 2weeks then emailed them..had goods 2days later..begs the question if I didn't email them would I still be waiting.

I am a tradesman who relies upon the quality of the referrals I get and the reputation for doing what I say I will do. The initial phone order on Tuesday had to be corrected upon receiving receipt of confirmation and I paid nearly £100 to have delivered in 48 hours - I was a) expecting a call when the driver was near and b) an email with the expected time etc (and that is taken from Tufnells own site). I received neither - so when I chased Tufnells I was told it had been delivered and left on the customers front lawn. I had told the client I would be there to receive the delivery as I was working just down the road, so there was no need for either of them to be in . Their 21 year old daughter happened to get back as it was being dumped on the lawn, and clearly was more than a little bemused. Anyhow - I get there to check the order and it is short by 10 lengths of structural timbers and 2 lengths of decking. I called your office and explained - and they offered to send out replacement, delivery Friday - that didn't help as I needed them first thing Thursday to build the carcass. So I have to go and buy the timbers separately - basically 2+ hours out of a day, and the expense of buying the timber twice!! Your off ice offered to refund the undelivered timbers - which is good. Now, I don't know if all the timber left your yard and got lost (how do you loose great lumps of wood?) in transit, or the order left incomplete. I suspect that its the former not the latter. If that is the case, your courier company is failing you and you causing harm to your reputation, and mine! My clients were told, by me, I would be there to receive - their first "professional" image of me is a man that doesn't keep to his word and cps;dnt be arsed to check his own delivery in. Not a good first start. Then next morning I explained I had to be gone for a couple of hours to get stuff the should have been there from the outset - again, not good. I am not expecting anything from this email - although I don't think any company should charge a fee for a service and then woefully and unapologetically fail on the simple task of delivering what was ordered. I do believe the courier company should refund their delivery cost as the job I paid for to be performed was, patently, not done. It was the first time I had used your company and, by the failings of your couriers possibly the last. I would also struggle to recommend you to any of my compatriots. I trust you take this feedback in the manner it was intended. Best regards KC

Well they decided to tell lies telling me a door I purchased on eBay was no longer in stock, when I said i was reporting them to eBay suddenly they seemed to have found one in stock. Communication is poor too with them

I paid extra for 2 day delivery and didn’t get it until 3rd day when I asked for refund you said I could get a part refund and will get an email. I am still waiting a week later and no email

its advertised next day delivery, it took 4 days its says on the side of the building delivery from £ 10 pounds the web site its £15, when you ask about next day delivery, we are busy its good whether, do not advertise something you cannot do

Our worktop arrived in damaged packaging and the worktop inside was damaged. Fortunately, our kitchen fitter was able to trim these off but it could have held things up substantially.

We were given a delivery date and only a third of order arrived on the right day. When the rest of our order arrived the following day, one of the items was damaged. This was arranged to be delivered on a pre 10am the following day which didn’t arrive. When questioned this was because it had been placed on a standard delivery. Our replacement then didn’t arrive the following day either. Communication has been poor throughout our order and overall disappointing. Also, we specifically ordered decking boards that were 3 meters long, however half the pack were longer than this and required cutting. It might be worth checking the accuracy of measurements.

What didnt, Bad comunication, no call backs as promised confuseing messages calls on my mobile, home phone and not picked up when called back, couldnt find paper work when I went to collect a month after I placed the order, So no I will not recomend or order again!

No instructions included with decking kit as stated in the product description and insufficient screws in the "fixing kit" to complete the job. One piece of wood was not cut to correct size and another piece was completely bowed. Also paid for 2 day express delivery and failed to receive all the order on time. Will not be ordering from savoy timber again.

I ordered two decking frame kits, wood arrived without any screws or undelay or pegs. I rang customer services who then sent out missing parts for one frame, rang up again to receive the second lot of missing parts the following week.
