“Very friendly and helpful staff in Preston. It is poor that an in stock item takes so long to process. I've found that a Saturday morning order in stock takes over 24 hours to process. When I arrive and collect, it is still on the shelf, available for anyone to buy. This is too long when you are only off work for the weekend.”

Hi Mr Oates, Thanks so much for reviewing our service . We are sorry to hear you not happy with the click and collect service . Click and collect orders get sent over to the store twice daily at 11am and 3pm. as you placed your order at 11am you order would have been sent across in the afternoon. This is our procedure because we have a huge amount of orders to work through and distribute. Preston is a very busy store on a Saturday and Sunday I am sure that as soon as hey could they got n touch with you . We did send you an email with details to get in touch if you wished to discuss your order at any time. The item you ordered is an item we keep in stock in quite large quantities so we won't have felt we needed to take it off the shelf because we didn't feel that there was any change of running out of the item n question. “I was pleased with the quality of the doors and the fact that they were cut to size. However, I was very disappointed that they did not arrive as stated on the website. They are described as follows: 'DIY Made Easy - Pre-cut Track Supplied With Door And Ready Drilled - Hinges Included & Pre-Fitted'. This was not the case, however. The track was not cut to size, the door was not pre-drilled, and the hinges were not pre-fitted. I had been hoping to fit them myself, but will now have to pay someone to do this for me.”

“Worktop arrived damaged. Fortunately I had ordered more than required so was able avoid using the damaged areas. I couldn't say whether it was supplied damaged or done in transit but I probably won't buy again.”

“the ordering was easy , the worktops I ordered were good value, however the delivery was diabolical, I was told it would be delivered on a certain day so I had guys sat on site all day and it never turned up , I called savoy timber on numerous occasions only to be told they would get back to me but no reply . they did tell e on one occasion that 1 worth was due to delivered on the Wednesday and the other on the Thursday however on receiving nothing all day we gave up and went home . I then had guys sat on site all day Thursday and again made numerous calls to find out where the worktops were and agin was told they were out for delivery but don't know where they are, the tracking info was next to useless as it showed one worktop had been delivered when it Clearly hadn't , eventually they turned up at 16,00 on the Thursday after I sent all the guys home who were waiting to take delivery of them , not only have I had guys sat around all day costing me money I still haven't received a call from savoy timber telling me where the worktops are as promised . I suggest that they change there courier from tuffnels who I have had issues with before on numerous occasions who's tracking numbers don't even register and all it tells you is yeah its out and may be delivered at some point over the next 3 days to someone like dpd who actually give you a time slot and can be tracked”

“Ordered and paid on line, got an email telling me I would shortly receive a conformation email and I can collect my goods. 7 days later, yup 7 days, I decided to call in and pick it up. Toolstation and Screwfix waiting time is approx 5 minutes.”

“The Rouille Zenith worktops supplied were excellent and at a good price. The goods were delivered, as arranged, just before the kitchen fitters were on site (as there was nowhere to store the worktops and upstands). The edges to all 4 upstands were damaged (see photos) or slightly untrue; this was only discovered when the kitchen fitters were on site. The fitters managed to rescue the situation but it entailed extra time and materials to make a routing rig to trim the edges. All of this was at extra cost to me. Savoy Timber have reimbursed about half the cost as a goodwill gesture but are stating that officially I have accepted the goods. The alternative would be to stop work, return the upstands, have replacements delivered, reschedule the fitters (3 or 4 weeks later) and endure the wrath of SWMBO!. So hats off to SavoyTimbers for the worktops, and an acknowledgement that they went half way to recompensing me for the damaged upstands they provided. My advice would be source the upstands from elsewhere!”

“Speedy delivery, pleasant helpful staff on telephone. Unfortunately they forgot the fixings and I had to wait another week for them before starting project. Three pieces of the timber were very badly bowed in all directions not sure how they got through quality control ?”

Hi There, So sorry to hear your not entirely happy with your timbers. we always send them out straight . sometimes they can bow if they are not stored correctly. we are so sorry your fixings were late . hope the project went well Lisa Savoy Tmber

“Good quality decking easy to fit, but service needs improvement. Stock said 14 items but only 13 arrived phoned to enquire about this was told they would look into this but no return call or e-mail. Waited a week before I started but decided to go a head and build, completed the decking and looks good. Still not sure what the item ie-4 of 14 was but I hope it is not required.”
