Very poor false advertising where it is pictured as block of whatever you would buy. But instead you just get a laminate, it was late delivery by several days and last thing I ordered from savoy timber it was cut in half and not the full product

Delivery was 24hrs early, which made it easier to get the job done on time with this heat. Very good value for money.

After delays firstly on product being damaged so you could not ship, secondly on fresh supplies not being sent to you but somebody else, finally goes we’re despatched via Palletwise, but alas no link to consignment. So, tried the old fashioned method of the telephone, whereupon a very helpful lady called Tina said she would find out what was going on a call back. In 20 minutes Tina called back with all the answers needed, and the truck arrived 15 minutes later- so lucky I called! My thanks to Tina for speed and professionalism!

They said it was going to be delivered on Wednesday and it was. delivery driver was polite inform me before he got to the job will be ordering more decking

All though I had a prompt delivery some of decking boards were damaged and split. Rang customer services very apologetic and arranged replacements to be sent with them covering postage. Well done in putting customer first highly recommend

The product I am very happy with, But I am unhappy with our delivery company considering I had to pay Β£20.00 for delivery.I had been informed that the delivery was set for Tuesday (yesterday) I contacted Tuffnells just after 9am yesterday morning and asked that they contact the driver for an eta also the tonnage and type of delivery vehicle. This was crucial as to the narrowness of the lanes in the area. At 12.30pm I telephoned again but this time their depot and explained the problem to the manager. Some time later the driver rang. The vehicle was a large 7.5 tonner box lorry. I made my was to a local village and met up with the vehicle. I could see the cardboard protecting the gate was ripped in places. I explained to the driver that your instructions were to sign for the goods, But endorse it as damaged and a follow up e mail if there was a problem, But no, the driver said sign and state not examined, He then took photographs of the packaging. On getting it home I found the gate unmarked or damaged. I was busy and didn't need that grief yesterday and what annoys me is. I had to pay for the privilege.

I received my worktop quite damaged and chipped all over. I have tried to contact you and had no response. Awful experience would never use again. Worth paying more to use a reputable company. Now have a damaged worktop and out of pocket and had to buy a new one from somewhere else.

firstly apologies for the damage in transit of the worktop delivered, no customer should be out of pocket or accept any items that are damaged in transit, as a national company we have strict guidelines on quality control and order process. I will investigate your issues as it is part of my remit to see where the breakdown in process, quality control, customer service, service partners and our own staff fall short of our high standards. We ship a very large amount of worktop materials nationwide – through a number of delivery mechanisms – Our own fleet and a number of national couriers. On initial evaluation I see that this was a Parcelforce delivery, I will arrange for it to be collected, normally we would just replace but it seems that you have bought elsewhere – if so we can refund your order. At Savoy Timber we are a family business that has a 60 year heritage and we take our customer service very seriously as this is why the majority of our customers use us for their worktop projects for years, different generations of the same family trust us to provide them with a quality product at a low price – I reiterate that there should be absolutely no occasion where any Savoy Timber customer should have to accept sub standard products and I will pass your experience through to our dispatch manager and Parcelforce account manager (courier company) Finally you state that you have tried to contact us but with no contact made, we have 3 superstores, a national sales office plus a number of different email addresses, contact forms and web chat portal- could you let me know how you contacted us so I can look into this breakdown of communication. Your experience thankfully is rare and as such is taken very seriously as we have to learn from any breakdown in process to ensure nothing like this can occur again. I look forward to hearing from you with what exactly the products were that were substandard and the monies spent to enable you to complete your project so I can try and bring a better closure to your project.
