“I have bought several pairs of shoes from Sargasso and Grey and have been delighted with them all. However my most recent purchase was a pair of extra wide white trainers. The toe box is certainly wide enough but the leather is really very hard and the back of the shoes very very rigid. So much so I have to put Compeed plasters on the back of my ankles to stop the rubbing. I am disappointed as my previous experience has been very good.”

“Great service from ordering to delivery and even the odd return was easy...A little more expensive but well worth it to find a shoe that fits wide feet and of good quality 🙂 My only slight frustration is they sell out of my size very quickly.”

“I ordered the platform Mary Jane’s, and was skeptical that any heeled shoe could be comfortable. My arthritis and some bunions and bumpy toes make it very difficult to be stylish. BUT- I gasped with joy when I tried them on, and experienced NO pressure on my toes, and the platform mitigates the heel height. The insole is cushioned and there’s room for an orthotic. I’m a fan.”

“Beautiful shoes. The heel is very comfortable and I am not a heel person. I hope I can dance all night long! The quality of them is great, padding inside is amazing. I am normally 6.5 size person in shoes but I took size6 wide and they are most comfortable shoes I have ever had.”

“Easy to use web site, fast delivery, well packed. My first time buying from Sargasso &Grey so I ordered the wrong size so I returned them and was sent a smaller size. Boots are comfortable but the left boot has a rough edge but hopefully it will soften with time.”

“At last! Stylish and elegant shoes which don't require me to break them in by squeezing my feet and suffering hours of discomfort to make them fit me! “Just got my black leather mid heels wide fit court shoes , working in banking I need comfy black heels for work and it’s just been a struggle finding anything for my plantar fascia friendly feet ! These are superb and because the sizing is a wee bit loose it’s perfect when u have tights specially fleece ones or just swollen feet from a long day … brilliant shoes definitely not my last pair . A bit on the pricey side but worth every penny for colours and styles you regularly wear. I have to get an almond colour next ..”
