“Superb shoes. Beautifully made, superbly comfortable with prompt deliveries. Smartly and stylishly box packaged too, with shoes bags included. I am gradually replacing all my tight shoes with Sargasso comfortable shoes, with no compromise on style and trend. Can they improve? I do wish more styles had diagonal straps for securing the shoes. Also for more styles to be an option in leather as well as suede as many styles are suede and not good to wear in rain.”

“Just what I wanted but oh the disappointment, not available in size 43 and 44. Please please can we have a Mary Jane flat, preferably in extra wide, in 43 and 44!”

Hi Rachel, we are really sorry we don't have your size in certain styles. I can appreciate that this is frustrating. We do offer up to size 44 in many styles, but some of our suppliers (such as our espadrille supplier) only manufacture shoes up to size 42. Believe me, if a supplier's size range extends to sizes 43 and 44, we order them! 😊

“They charge 77 dollars to ship to the US NOT COOL wont be ordering anymore from them. They are gonna lose good customers.”

Hi Kelly, I feel it is important to clarify the situation to avoid any misunderstanding. We only charge $12.99 for shipping to the US, which is heavily subsidised (the true cost is about $30). The $77 you note is a combination of the $12.99 and $64 duties and taxes which the Trump administration has levied on all imports entering the US since August, 2025. It is unfortunate and frustrating, but it is, sadly, beyond our control.

“I have the Lydia boots. A lovely boot but the soles are so thin they can’t be worn if I need to walk or stand for over 30 minutes. Very disappointing for the cost of them.”

“I had no problem with the toes but the minute i felt the inside of the heel i knew i was going to have a problem.Less than 5 minutes walking i was hobbling.I just can’t understand why there’s such a huge uneven inside heel.I was so looking forward to getting them and I’m still having trouble.Hello plasters and heel protecters. I’m disappointed,and sorry to point out that the inside back of heels need professional attention.”

“Finally got my size right with S and G. For my feet in these shoes i went down half a size. These are wonderful shoes, extremely comfortable to wear and can't wait to wear them when Spring arrives. Saving for a second pair in a more neutral shade, would it be possible to have darker hues , like black or navy? Thankyou S and G”

“These shoes are beautiful and fit so comfortably. I have horrible feet - bunions and hammer toes 🤣😱 so was sceptical, but no need to break them in. Comfy straight away. The shoes are not the right colour for my Mother of the Bride outfit for my eldest daughter’s wedding, but I love them so much I am keeping them anyhow…! (I have four other daughters so hopefully they will match another outfit one day!) Thank you.”

“First purchase, a very lovely pair of flat pumps. Colour wasn't such a bright red as I thought it would be however, a nice tone of red and the patent toes and heels brightened them. Size wise very generous, I am normally a 43 but the extra wide fit made them very roomy. Possibly could drop a half size but might risk them not being so comfortable, happy to keep them. Price wise excellent but then I did buy them in sale! Delivery was excellent. I shall be coming back.”

“DISAPPOINTED! On paper the Emma wide fit trainers sounded like everything I wanted.Unfortunately when they arrived one trainer had a ‘ bump’ on the toe box, leaving a dent inside which I think would rub causing blisters.The heels were creased on both shoes( inside and out).The product info mentioned the word soft twice.Sadly I have never had any shoe/boot/trainer with leather as hard as these trainers. Wouldn’t be able to walk comfortably in them as the sole isn’t flexible.The laces are white but the leather isn’t.(Did want white trainers).Emailed about returning the faulty trainers and disappointed that the reply was AI generated. Returned the trainers for a refund. Initially the company sound like a caring one- different to the high street. Although the return was free still had to pay for the privilege of receiving faulty trainers( even though I wrote faulty on the invoice when returned).”

“Vallera boot excellent fit for my bunion, it’s a sleek, low profile, square toe, work-appropriate boot. Wore mine to a 3-day winter conference perfectly happily, without any sore feet! In an ideal world the inner footbed would be removable for orthotics, but the cushioning is good nonetheless. Customer service excellent.”

“Beautiful shoes, very comfortable on trying them on, haven’t worn them yet, they are for my wedding day. Only problem is , one of the pearls fell off on the bow, but it is hardly noticeable and I don’t want to return them. I have very bad bunions, and these completely cover them”

“Absolutely fabulous shoes, unfortunately i need an extra wide, so have returned them today and asked for a credit to offset as i am going to order a different pair of shoes, i photographed my foot going into the shoes, it was hilarious, like being one of the step sisters in Cinderella trying on the glass slipper, there was still 5 cm of room in the front of the shoes but my foot would not go in. I will order these in extra wide when they are available.”

“I bought the Vallera boots before Christmas (they’d been on my wish list for ages!) and the second time I wore them the leather pull-on loop snapped off the top of one of the boot. Customer service kindly refunded me part of the price as they were sold out so that was fine. The boots are lovely, fit perfectly and initially very comfortable. However, on longer wears the insole was just way too slippery my feet couldn’t cope no matter what socks I was wearing! I got blisters on the soles of my feet and my toes ended up pushing on the top of the boot which really hurt! The comfort panel on the right foot then completely wore through to the leather on the other side one day after just 2 hours of wear! I tried some insoles but it just didn’t work. As they weren’t cheap I am a bit disappointed. I really struggle to find nice, comfortable and stylish boots and thought I had finally prevailed but sadly not. The quality of the leather etc. is lovely but the slippery insole is a real problem and now I can’t buy any of your other gorgeous shoes for fear of having the same issue.”
