“Excellent customer service from previous purchase when I needed to return a pair of shoes. This time I bought the Patsy extra wide long boots. Speedy delivery, beautifully packed and very good quality boot. They are a perfect length and width for me in the leg. Four stars instead of five simply because I have a very troublesome bunion , so there is a little discomfort there which I’m hoping will be resolved as the boots wear in.”

“Just ordered my first pair of shoes. Good company. Will order again. The shoes were comfortable but not as comfortable that i could wear all day so had to return. Difficult feet to find comfortable shoes. They would have been better if they had a slighly thicker sole at the front. (Platform) None available in ivory. A company that can be trusted.”

“Overall, good service. Returned item was dealt with swiftly. Shoes fitted comfortably to my surprise, due to my wide feet. One toggle on lace came off but happy otherwise. l would consider buying again.”

“I recently purchased the Cecily sandals to wear at my son's wedding. The sandals were exactly what I was looking for, beautiful to look at and great quality but they were extremely uncomfortable. After about an hour my feet were killing me! Customer service from Sargasso and Grey was excellent, I had to return the first pair as they were too small and received the second pair very promptly.”

“I have ordered both the Catherine and Eve court shoes. Customer service was good. The Catherine shoes are more padded and more comfortable than the Eve shoes. They are both of very good quality. The only reason I have not given a 5 star is due to the sizing. I ordered the Catherine in size 3 and half which were a bit big but was told they do not go down to a size 3 in that shoe. I was able to get a size 3 in the Eve shoe (luckily in the sale) but found they were exactly the same size as the 3 and half and too big again. So I found the sizing confusing. I would definitely recommend the quality of these shoes but they are obviously expensive - although the Eve was half price and so very reasonable.”

“Beautiful shoes delivered very quickly. Perfect fit. However, due to the lack of room at the tip, my big toes were extremely tender after several hours. My big toes, especially, were very painful. This wasn’t helped by my slippery tights, which exacerbated the problem. Despite this experience, I would buy from you again, as the shoes are stunningly beautiful, and the delivery was so rapid.”

“The shoes arrived very promptly, They are clearly very high quality, unfortunately they were too wide for me (they are EEE, and I think EE would be right for me) so they were gapping at the sides. The colour was also a bit "pinker" than I anticipated, I need something more "beige". i have returned them for a refund.”

“My size 4 wide feet unfortunately did not fit your exquisite shoes so I had to return all three pairs with a heavy heart. The website, ordering, refunds and returns process were all first class. They arrived quickly too. I don't have bunions but my feet just get wider as you get to the toes, a bit like flippers, so my toes were squeezed together. Happy to pay for quality and fit but sadly these gorgeous shoes were not for me.”

“Beautiful, elegant shoes - exactly the sort of style I was looking for to wear to my daughter's forthcoming summer wedding. I cannot fault the customer service - S&G were happy for me to order two sizes and didn't mind me returning the wrong size. Plus offered advice for the shoe that seemed a little big on my half-size smaller foot. I'm not used to wearing heels on account of arthritis in my big toe joint, but the shoes I ordered are as a comfortable as I think it possible to get - a little pressure on top of my joint, but bearable for the big day, and I'm sure the leather will soften with further wear. So happy to have found this company - I'll be buying again in the future.”

“The Chelsea boot is darker brown than expected but is just right. Very well made. My feet are towards the wide end of normal but l wanted to be able to wear thicker socks with the boots so l thought a wide fit would be perfect. However, these boots are NOT wide fit.”

Normally buying shoes from an on line store would not usually appeal to me as I have a hammer toe and never get the fit, however the reviews were great so I gave them a try and wasn’t disappointed.
