“Easy to use web site, fast delivery, well packed. My first time buying from Sargasso &Grey so I ordered the wrong size so I returned them and was sent a smaller size. Boots are comfortable but the left boot has a rough edge but hopefully it will soften with time.”

“The leather shoes were well made. The extra wide fit was do-able and with a little softening and stretching will be perfect. My feet are wide unfortunately. Bought them for a wedding and have spent last six months looking for shoes . So 🤞”

“Fast delivery, beautifully packaged. I love these mules. I don’t think I’ve ever owned a pair of lovely shoes that actually fit my wide feet. These come close and I will keep them. Trouble is that, apart from having wide feet, I have a very high instep too. I’m hoping that as the leather is so soft they will ‘give’ after a couple of wears. I just need to be able to slide my feet in another quarter inch but my high instep prevents this. I’ll still be taking flip flops in my bag, as usual, for when they rub.”

“The shoes, although expensive, looked very well made. But unfortunately, were not wide enough. They hurt my feet, so sadly, I had to return them. So the hunt for smart shoes that are comfortable continues. The return process was easy. I am waiting for my refund as we speak. Ordering was easy too and the parcel arrived quickly.”

“Beautifully presented and they fit perfectly, they are very , very expensive, but I don’t mind paying a bit more for a quality item. I have not worn them outside yet and my only concern is they seem very flimsy and I don’t think they would last long, but would give a more detailed review, when I have worn them for a month”

“The shoes are great quality, presented beautifully upon arrival. Sadly, none of them are comfortable for me. I have oblong shaped feet, so find most shoes too narrow and was therefore hoping that yours would be a solution. Sadly the wide fit are a bit too wide on the mid foot and ankle areas, but still not really wide enough where my toes go. I am very disappointed as I had such high hopes that these amazingly made shoes would fit me. I shall have to return all three pairs.”

“Beautiful shoes, the width is perfect but length a bit long , I will try and sort this by trying to purchase a heel pad , I like the taupe ones but concerned if I order 6.6 they may not fit And I tried to register with you're loyalty points but was not successful They truly are lovely shoes x”

“Good looking shoes but … the most uncomfortable I’ve ever encountered , unfortunately I had to wear them to find this out . They cut across the bone on the large toe thereby almost crippling me . I had to tap more than three stars to be able to write this . disappointing I’ve shoes that are unwearable and I’ve lost money that I can ill afford .”

We note you have ordered shoes from us before, so it is a shame this style didn't work for you. Given they are made of soft leather, they will certainly give with wear. To speed up this process, you may want to take them to a cobbler to get the problem area professionally stretched. If you reach out to us, we would be happy to arrange this for you. Regarding the inability to leave the required number of stars relating to your experience, this is an independent third-party platform so anyone is welcome to leave an honest opinion and rate their experience as they see fit (using 1- 5 stars). We just hope if customers have issues with the shoes, they reach out to us first so that we can try and find a resolution.

“Beautifully soft leather sandals but unfortunately I had to return them as they were too narrow and also too long. If they had come in an EEE fitting and a size down they probably would have been perfect. But it’s the end of season so stock is understandably limited. Easy returns though. I love S and G shoes.”

“I was so disappointed that I had to return these shoes they were beautiful and the perfect colour for my outfit however because of the angle at the front they cut into exactly where my bunion is at it’s most prominent. The delivery and return process was faultless however x”

“The shoes run a half size large. They are overall comfortable enough. The width in front is perfect but the shoes need more arch support as it feels like they have none. Very cute designs though! I did get blisters when I wore them at first, but I’m chalking it up to the fact that they were new and needed to be “broken in.” Delivery could have been better, as they miswrote my address on the box the first time (and yes, I checked - I input the address correctly, but it seems they manually label the boxes separately). I had to exchange one of the shoes for a different size as they sent me the wrong one, but the process was smooth.”

“Excellent customer service from previous purchase when I needed to return a pair of shoes. This time I bought the Patsy extra wide long boots. Speedy delivery, beautifully packed and very good quality boot. They are a perfect length and width for me in the leg. Four stars instead of five simply because I have a very troublesome bunion , so there is a little discomfort there which I’m hoping will be resolved as the boots wear in.”

“Just ordered my first pair of shoes. Good company. Will order again. The shoes were comfortable but not as comfortable that i could wear all day so had to return. Difficult feet to find comfortable shoes. They would have been better if they had a slighly thicker sole at the front. (Platform) None available in ivory. A company that can be trusted.”

“I recently purchased the Cecily sandals to wear at my son's wedding. The sandals were exactly what I was looking for, beautiful to look at and great quality but they were extremely uncomfortable. After about an hour my feet were killing me! Customer service from Sargasso and Grey was excellent, I had to return the first pair as they were too small and received the second pair very promptly.”

“I have ordered both the Catherine and Eve court shoes. Customer service was good. The Catherine shoes are more padded and more comfortable than the Eve shoes. They are both of very good quality. The only reason I have not given a 5 star is due to the sizing. I ordered the Catherine in size 3 and half which were a bit big but was told they do not go down to a size 3 in that shoe. I was able to get a size 3 in the Eve shoe (luckily in the sale) but found they were exactly the same size as the 3 and half and too big again. So I found the sizing confusing. I would definitely recommend the quality of these shoes but they are obviously expensive - although the Eve was half price and so very reasonable.”
