“The trainers were fabulous but my EEE feet just didn't fit into them. Nearly but not quite.”

“Nice shoe. Like the style and the dark platform sole. So often soles are bright white which I did not want. Definitely not extra wide. Quality of shoe not quite as good as I expected and insole poor. OK for work.”

“These shoes are wide fit but the buckle is placed way too far back on the shoe. It’s impossible to fasten the buckle without assistance. Also the buckle itself is small and flimsy. It’s a shame because they are an attractive shoe”

Dear Caroline We are sorry to learn that the position of the buckle is causing an issue for you on the particular shoe you ordered. I also understand the straps and buckles are slim on this shoe. If we used a thicker strap and buckle, I fear it would change the whole aesthetic of the shoe. That said, we don't want customers to struggle putting our shoes on so we will definitely keep this feedback in mind for future designs, and perhaps look to offer styles with different fastening options. “I recently bought a pair of Helena heels, when they are first on they are comfortable and the width is great. However after a couple of hours working between meetings at work, the balls of my feet burn, there’s just not enough cushioning, the back of the shoe also doesn’t have enough depth, so although these are a perfect fit, they flip about. I have other styles which I love, but this particular style do not like my feet.”

“The sandals are very stylish but the EEE fit is a bit too roomy for me, despite having wide feet with bunions on both the big and little toe joints (both sides of each foot). I also wonder if I got the sizing right as your sizing chart is confusing. I bought a size 4 which you also class as a size 38, despite all other shoe brands I’ve ever come across classing a size 4 as a 37. An EU 38 would be a UK 5. So now I don’t know if I’ve actually got a 4 or a 5? The length seems ok, possibly a little long but probably not a whole size too long. Maybe your “4/38” is actually a 4.5? 🤔”

“The quality of the shoes was great however I found the pointed toe a little too narrow. Disappointing because the shoes were exactly what I was looking for. I’m still awaiting a refund on the shoes that were delivered back to Sargasso & Grey on 30th June.”
