“These shoes are the most comfortable and best fitting shoes I ever had . Comfort tight out of the box . I was not sure what size to pick bc European sizes don’t really fit me but they were perfect . Leather soft and plenty wide in toe to fit and not hurt . My main problem is bunion and 2 nd hammer toe. The toe sticks up snd most shoes hurt there but I think these will be ok . I m do happy either way these beautiful shoes Plan to buy more . Hope tariffs don’t kill us .”

“My dream shoes! The whole process was easy & efficient; delivery, returns & new order! The colours, quality & comfort are fabulous! For me the sizes were large, I am normally 37.5, and ended up with 36.5! I will be back for more, even at their prices! Shame they don’t have a shop to visit…”

“I simply cannot find stylish, comfortable shoes to wear on cruises. Though more expensive than I would normally consider, I have too many “worn once” shoes in my wardrobe. The left shoe was a perfect fit while the right foot is slightly smaller but was easily fixed with an insole. Looking forward to wearing them next month and hoping for another pair for Christmas. 🤞🏼”

“Fast delivery, beautifully packaged. I love these mules. I don’t think I’ve ever owned a pair of lovely shoes that actually fit my wide feet. These come close and I will keep them. Trouble is that, apart from having wide feet, I have a very high instep too. I’m hoping that as the leather is so soft they will ‘give’ after a couple of wears. I just need to be able to slide my feet in another quarter inch but my high instep prevents this. I’ll still be taking flip flops in my bag, as usual, for when they rub.”

“I have mild but very painful bunions. To be honest, I didn’t believe Sargasso & Grey shoes would make any difference, but at a recent wedding I managed to wear heels for the first time in years! I wasn’t even in pain after dancing for hours, just had normal tired feet. “The shoes, although expensive, looked very well made. But unfortunately, were not wide enough. They hurt my feet, so sadly, I had to return them. So the hunt for smart shoes that are comfortable continues. The return process was easy. I am waiting for my refund as we speak. Ordering was easy too and the parcel arrived quickly.”

“Lovely leather and suede espadrilles that fitted perfectly and were super comfortable first time on! The leather will keep its shape much better than the fabric versions that I have seen from other retailers and I am sure they will last for many summers to come. I have worn them on two evening occasions so far and they were admired both times. The order was received well packaged and within the expected delivery time. Excellent service and lovely shoes!”

“Wonderful shoes the only down side is that I must stop buying shoes from your range.I have wide size 6 feet with an arthritic big toe joint so not easy to get comfy shoes that look so elegant, Thats until you discover Sargasso and Grey. “The only pair of S&G shoes that I have had to return because they are too narrow. Where the tongue was stitched into the trainer was right at the widest part of my foot I did not want to risk hoping that they would stretch only to find that they still hurt”

Hi Kaye Whilst it's reassuring to learn all of your other S&G shoes hit the mark in terms of fit, we are sorry the trainers were not quite right. This is valuable feedback which we will take on board. We are creating new lines of trainers for our AW2025 collection, including styles with a very wide toe box. We are expecting these new styles at the end of September, so please do visit us again!
