Finally, I was fortunate to discover Sargasso & Grey website! “I had purchased shoes in the past and was very happy with them, but as their sizing chart had changed and there were new styles, I had questions I needed answered. I called and left messages and sent messages on five separate occasions via email with NO Response. I even posted on their Facebook page, again no response. Very disappointed.”

Hi Dawn I apologise profusely if no one has responded to you, but I think there has been some misunderstanding here. You posted comments on our Facebook page under a different surname from the one you are using here. As we couldn't find any record of this name in our system, we responded directly to the comment and asked you to email us. We also searched under your first name in our customer service system and again found nothing linking your name, so we had no other way of responding to you. Only now that we see your surname in this review (and that it is different to your Facebook post), are we able to directly contact you, which we will of course now do.

“I have bought several pairs of shoes from Sargasso and Grey and have been delighted with them all. However my most recent purchase was a pair of extra wide white trainers. The toe box is certainly wide enough but the leather is really very hard and the back of the shoes very very rigid. So much so I have to put Compeed plasters on the back of my ankles to stop the rubbing. I am disappointed as my previous experience has been very good.”

“Great service from ordering to delivery and even the odd return was easy...A little more expensive but well worth it to find a shoe that fits wide feet and of good quality 🙂 My only slight frustration is they sell out of my size very quickly.”

“I ordered the platform Mary Jane’s, and was skeptical that any heeled shoe could be comfortable. My arthritis and some bunions and bumpy toes make it very difficult to be stylish. BUT- I gasped with joy when I tried them on, and experienced NO pressure on my toes, and the platform mitigates the heel height. The insole is cushioned and there’s room for an orthotic. I’m a fan.”

“Beautiful shoes. The heel is very comfortable and I am not a heel person. I hope I can dance all night long! The quality of them is great, padding inside is amazing. I am normally 6.5 size person in shoes but I took size6 wide and they are most comfortable shoes I have ever had.”

“Easy to use web site, fast delivery, well packed. My first time buying from Sargasso &Grey so I ordered the wrong size so I returned them and was sent a smaller size. Boots are comfortable but the left boot has a rough edge but hopefully it will soften with time.”
