The toilet seat is good. It did come with a slight chip caused by transport as the packaging was pierced.

We would always look to replace any item that has been damaged in transit, so long as we have been informed within a reasonable timeframe. Also, given this is a toilet seat, we wouldn't expect a customer to accept a delivery when the packaging/seal has been compromised. Hi even though cladding was wrapped well still had 6 that were damaged, but was able to use after cutting off damage. Dave

Good Morning Dave, We're very sorry to hear about the issues with damage on delivery. We pack these items using heavy cardboard edge protection and plastic wrap to ensure the protection remains in place during transit. Typically we rarely see damages reported on the products we send out. We are aware however that, during times of increased demand on courier networks, damages do occur a little more often. We do listen and learn from customer feedback and we are looking into ways to negate the increase in courier damages during the busier periods. Again, we're sorry you've not had the normal Rubberduck experience here. If ever you need anything in the future give us a call and we'll make sure the next one is much better! I am Ann-Maries husband - I ordered several things for a shower unit I was having put in a bedroom with: shower, toilet, sink, etc these things all came on a large vehicle and they arrived without problems. The problems started because I also ordered adhesives which were sent separately of which I wanted 3 Stixall (because this can be used in wet conditions) and 3 Everbuild general-purpose adhesives (which you must use in clean and dry conditions). RD sent these by post. They sent 6 general-purpose adhesives. I rang RD and they wanted pictorial proof of the adhesives they sent, which I did and they said they would send out the correct adhesives and I was to send back the other adhesives when they arrived. This meant I had to lose two days of the time I had allocated to get the work done. What was worse was that the people who had been given the responsibility to send the replacement adhesives back to me did not check the order and they sent me 6 stixall adhesive and NO general-purpose adhesive. More time wasted! As I live out in the country I then had to take a trip into town to get the general-purpose adhesive. Not funny RD.

I bought the white and chrome Neptune 250 cladding and it looks great for the money. Problem is that all the first delivery was damaged. The company set the whole order again an this was also damaged in part. I have completed the job and have a few panels over, but the inconvenience of have to wait for a second order is annoying. The product itself is a little flimsy and would benefit from being stronger and more rigid. The packaging for the product is insufficient and most orders will probably be damaged. Same, but having said that I like the finished effect so may buy again for another bathroom.

With regards to the package protection, we do apply extra edge protection and wrap on dispatch from our warehouse. This typically ensures the items arrive without issue. We've dispatched these products directly for over 10 years and the protection applied has been refined to keep the costs to all customers as low as possible with minimal impact on the service as well as the environment too. Helpful on the phone, delivery was reasonably quick. However, every single one of the panels was damaged in the same place on the edge. The cardboard 'angles' (which were designed to protect them in transit) were split into two lengths, with the gap in the middle being the weak point. Luckily, our bathroom fitter was able to work around the problem by master-craftsmanship, plus our reluctance to send the damn things back and risk the whole project timetable. It only goes to show how delivery is still a massive part of the online economy. Would have been 5/5 if delivery had been perfect.

Lovely tap sadly too small for the industrial size utility sink, but the plumber had already fitted it, then I saw you did a big version for £300, wish I’d got that now ! our mistake !

Main concern was the delivery cost, which at £40.00 is extortionate and not competitive with other suppliers. Also, every panel pack had warehouse or transport damage on the edge, but fortunately I managed to work around this. The quality of the panels were overall good, although a few had manufacturing dents or faults. A proper check before they left the factory would resolve this. To end on a positive I would add the website and ordering process was seamless, and I couldn’t find the panels I wanted at this availability and cost.

Unfortunately, we can't always cover the cost of the delivery service on items such as the ones you ordered. On these items, we display the delivery cost separately from the product. Whereas other suppliers will build part of the delivery cost into the item price itself. That's why you found our product prices to be lower than other sellers out there. I had many problems ordering Showerwall boards through RB - one board arrived chipped and it had to be returned. Then both boards were delivered a week after the delivery due date I was given (and my builders had to stop work until they arrived). I would have appreciated some money off the order given the experience. I would have given RB 2 stars but I gave it 3 stars as the people I spoke with were very courteous and helped where they could.

As a small family-operated company with a team of around 15-20 people, we rely on 3rd party manufacturers and couriers to supply the items we sell. At times items can be delayed or damaged due to circumstances beyond our control. Which is the biggest frustration for us and valued customers such as yourself. We'll be raising the issue with the manufacturers to make sure they're aware. While we can't directly change how manufacturers deliver the items on our behalf, we can look at discounting any future order as a gesture of goodwill on our part. The sales department is very good, but the delivery services is rubbish. It seem they deliver you items as and when they feel like it, you contact the sales and they say it will be with you on a date but nothing arrives. Very disappointing, I will have to look else were for the boarding.

The panels purchased are distributed direct by the manufacturer to help reduce delivery windows for customers. This would be the case for all online retailers selling Wetwall branded panels. We do provide disptach notifications on receipt with ETA's provided. Typically, we rarely see issues with these dates being met. We can only apologise that your delivery did not arrive on that day. We can also see that you've bought a few things from us over the years and we would very much like to keep you as a customer. I ordered from you because you were able to supply abacus bathroom products and had some in a sale. Unfortunately the first delivery made by your courier XDP was missing 4 items. It sounds like Abacus send material in bulk to XDP for them to pick from. Rubber Duck inform Abacus of the order and Abacus pass on to XDP whose staff then make up a delivery box from their stock. The XDP delivery man was diligent in the fact that he thought something was wrong when he made the delivery and he returned later to check with us. He believed a box had been sealed up too soon before it had been completely filled and he took the label back to their depot to investigate. I reported the problem to you by email and you have now arranged for Abacus to send a further batch of all of the missing items albeit 1 week later. Thanks for sorting the problem out

Hi Mike, Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback and we're sorry for the inconvenience. To give a little clarity on how things work with Abacus. They use XDP as their chosen courier however all goods are picked, packed and then collected from the Abacus depot to be distributed to the XDP depot local to you. We have been made aware that XDP at times split consignments based on vehicle size but they don't break items down, they simply place them on another vehicle. On a rare occasion that an item is missing from a delivery, it's likely the item was lost/damaged in transit or there was a picking error within the Abacus warehouse. I must say that you first delivered my order very quickly, within 24 hours of my online order, but it was obviously too quick, as the pocket didn't bother to check if it was the right part, as you sent completely the wrong one. On the second occasion it was slower, 48 hours, but at least it was good this time as the part actually matched the order. BTW its spelt submit, not sumbit

This is a review for the replacement bath panel that was needed as I had been sent a damaged panel initially and I was impressed by the replacement process which was easy. Sadly the replacement product arrived in a worse state than the first. The wooden painted panel and plinth arrived with no internal protective packaging in a flimsy broken cardboard box. The panel was dirty and covered in finger and hand prints. Clearly there is a problem in the warehouse with the checking, packing and dispatch of goods. The first damaged panel arrived in bubbble wrap, cling wrap, foam packing and a cardboard box so I am at a loss as to why this one arrived in the state it did. I was disappointed the first time but the second time I was shocked and felt that as a customer I was not valued as they had sent out a product with very little care. This is a complete contrast to the experience of phoning (a rare to ing for a company nowadays) and speaking to the lovely people who sort this out. They are very good and helpful and it feels like 2 very different sides to the company where one side really doesn’t care and the other side does and tries their best. We’ll see what state the third bath panel arrives in- fingers crossed!

Product is good and the price was excellent, but the pallet / wooden structure the bath arrived on was a nightmare to deconstruct. Now I am stuck with a pile of wood full of nails...

On the packaging, it's commonplace within our sector for large consignments to be palletised when moving through logistic channels. The reason being is that it's more cost-effective for dispatch and gives excellent protection, which helps minimise the risk of damage during transit. The alternative would be to package items individually. This would increase warehouse handling time, waste materials, shipping costs and of course the delivery ETA. On looking at your order, we can see it was picked up and dispatched only a matter of hours after being placed. The goods were dispatched on a next day service with FedEx on the 11th. Product I ordered arrived damaged, they immediately sent another but still not enough packaging and that was damaged too They were amazing when I asked for a refund and did it straight away Hence 3 stars, should be 1 for despatch and 5 for customer service

Hi Cathy, We're sorry to hear about the damage to your items. Typically, we rarely see damages on delivery for small items such as the cleaning spray on your order. We do see a small increase in delivery issues around this time of the year, however. This is partially due to how busy courier networks are around the gift-giving season as well as the highly advertised sales around Black Friday too. If you add to that the problems we've faced with driver shortages and global supply chain issues due to Covid, there has been a slightly higher than average rate of disruption than we would normally see. We're currently looking into how we can minimise these disruptions moving forward, without impacting price points for valued customers such as yourself.
