Unfortunately the first delivery arrived damaged as did the replacement second delivery and the Third They did send out replacements quickly but it could have been packaged better

Hi Brian, Please accept out apologies here, we don't usually face these issues too often and certainly not repeatedly. Under normal circumstances we wouldn’t look to make excuses on behalf of the manufacturers we connect to. However, the industry as a whole has been under unprecedented amounts of pressure to fulfil the sheer volume of orders placed at this time with the current pandemic and working restrictions in place. This pressure has impacted how manufacturers and courier networks operate and unfortunately this has led to more errors than we would normally see. Not great, my order has still not arrived. Ordered on the 28th Nov. Informed it would delayed and shipped out on the 14th.

Hi Esme, Firstly, we'd like to apologise for any inconvenience caused as a result of your order. These items are held in stock in our warehouse. At the time we were waiting on a stock order from our supplier. The dates were given in good faith, based on info provided for that order. Under normal circumstances we wouldn’t look to make excuses on behalf of the manufacturers we connect to. We do appreciate the feedback around estimated delivery times and we are updating the website as often as we can but due to the fluidity of the situation it is a little difficult. If you couple that with the large increase in demand has meant that certain product ranges have created a bottleneck and have more delays than others. 2 orders and both times delivery was late! First order took 10 days, I thought it may be a one off but no, the second order took around a month!!! Won't be using again, too unreliable.

Most of the manufacturers we connect to are having to deal with a large increase in demand whilst operating with reduced staff and working restrictions in place due to Covid-19. Well I haven't received my item yet So don't know why you are asking for a review Order placed early November You shouldn't be selling items on your website with a 6-10 day delivery when its actually now well over a month I have been waiting

Hi Holly, Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback and apologies for any delay. I've taken a look and can see that the item states, usually delivered within 6-10 days. Under normal circumstances this would be accurate however, we haven't been getting stock updates as regular as we'd like given the current climate and increase in online orders due to lockdown. As soon as we were made aware of any delay, we tried to source an alternative and passed the details on to yourself, so you could make a decision on how you wanted to proceed. Very poor communication, incorrect lead times on website. Placed 2 orders for Abacas products 1 was dispatched and received in a week the other wasn't even dispatched in the week and then a further week for delivery. If it had stated this on the items prior to purchase I would have gone elsewhere.

Good Morning Oliver, Thanks for taking the time to offer feedback. We're sorry that you feel the experience wasn't what you expected. Having looked in to your order placed during Black Friday week, we can see most items arrived within 3 days and the rest followed within 5 working days from placing the order. We can also see a tracking link was sent over on the 27th, so you could monitor the items in transit. Unfortunately during these peak periods and while the UK was in lockdown, estimated delivery windows may slip a day or two which is unavoidable. The promised delivery date wasn't achieved, despite assurances, and had to request a refund which eventually arrived after several phone calls.

Good Morning Stephen, Thanks for taking time to leave feedback here. On looking at your order, we can see that the glass you ordered was to be delivered direct by the manufacturer who provided an ETA which was within the window requested. We cannot guarantee ETAs as they are estimates given by 3rd parties. The day after ordering we were given a confirmation on delivery which was two working days after the initial ETA. This was passed over by our team immediately. We're sorry this was not convenient for yourself however, given the current climate and with the UK courier network being as busy as it is, occasional delays beyond our control are to be expected unfortunately. The website stated the part was in stock. The delivery date was revised 3 times, then I was advised it wasn't in stock. I was given a 4th delivery date and was told it would be delivered by Abacus. It came via Royal Mail. Our plumber had to be put off twice as the part hadn't arrived, so very disappointed.

Having looked in to your order, we can see that the initial update provided by the manufacturer stated stock was available however there must have been a discrepancy at their end. After we were made aware of this, we chased for further updates which were passed over as we received them. While we don't want to make excuses for extended delays, the industry as a whole and UK courier networks are under a lot of pressure given the current climate and some unforeseen delays are unfortunately unavoidable. Probably the worst online shopping experience I've had. Will never use again. Over 6 weeks for order to arrive with nonsense excuses all the way through as well as complete lies.

We can see several delays with deliveries which as a customer of ours we can only apologise for. While we appreciate it can be frustrating when online orders don't go to plan, I can assure you the info passed over relating to deliveries was provided by the manufacturer after we called them to chase an update. It's no excuse but, having dealt with this manufacturer for over a decade now, these issues have only become apparent recently as a result of the issues surrounding the pandemic. A disaster from start to finish. Shower panel kit ordered. Assured to be delivered on the next Wed - this was checked with them AND their supplier. Waited in all day - NOTHING ! Chased and found out NOT even put on lorry for delivery. NO-ONE called to advise. PROMISED after checking with supplier that it would be shipped the next Wed. WAIT FOR IT ! .....and EXACTLY the same thing happened the next week. I waited in all day. NO DELIVERY, chased....Not on the lorry, NO CALL either ....AGAIN!!!! They then said it would come the following Monday. Did I wait for that - NO THANK YOU - ORDERED CANCELLED. Avoid!

Good Morning Barry, We're sorry that you feel you've not had the best experience here. On looking in to your order, we can see the panels you ordered were to be delivered direct by the manufacturer Multipanel. An ETA was given at the time of ordering of the 30th. We tried to bring this date forward on request and Multipanel were hoping to move stock between depots to get the items out to you for the 18th. While most items were ready for dispatch, 1 panel was unfortunately out of stock until the 25th. The panels would have arrived within the ETA given at the time of ordering but this was deemed unacceptable. Absolute joke, ordered cladding on the 11th (2 weeks ago) had no updates, no emails and it's held up the whole job.... Its asking on this review, who did the delivery hahaha, I have to make something up to post the review when I still haven't received it Stay clear

Good Morning Chris, Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback here, On looking into your order, we can see your items are usually held in stock at our warehouse and we can normally get these out on a next day service. We received two shipments worth of damage panels from the manufacturer in November however. This meant we had to prioritise earlier orders on the stock we had available. Again, we appreciate this was not a problem of your making and we'd like to apologise for any inconvenience caused as a result of the delay. Good Morning, We are sorry to hear about the delay in receiving your order. The wetroom glass was due to be delivered directly by Roman and they normally ship them out quite quick. Unfortunately there must have been a stock discrepancy at their end meaning there was a delay on getting your item out. While we appreciate it's not possible all the time, we do advise all customers to place orders well in advance of any job at hand or hiring fitters to avoid incurring any extra cost as a result of unforeseen circumstances. I've had a terrible experience with rubberduck. Dont say that you have something in stock which you clearly haven't. Don't say that you will call back when you don't. Don't say you will find an alternative when you don't. Don't lead your customers up the garden path

Hi Madeline, Thanks for taking time to leave feedback and apologies for any delay. Your toilet seat was dispatched a day before this review was written. We did send an update with a tracking link VIA email at the time, so yo knew when it was due to arrive. The slight delay was down to the fact that your item was part of a larger stock order we placed with the manufacturer a week prior to you placing yours. As such it had to be pulled in to our warehouse before we could send them out. Unfortunately there was a bit of a backlog on these items meaning yours was delayed somewhat. Ordered a shower door and was waiting over 2 weeks for a delivery date let alone it being delivered. Was promised phone calls with updates on my order and received none, poor customer service!

From the initial call, to the call back saying there was 3 in stock there were no problems, but after placing the order it all went wrong, called 1 week later to ask where was my order to be told, oh the stockists had no stock and it’s discontinued! I explained the previous phone call saying stock was available, the guy ( I’ve with held his name) then says oh well  I’ll check again and call you back later, no call back I proceeded to contact them for a few more days with no more luck or help, so requested my money back. Will I try them again or recommend them - nope, customer service is not important enough to theM

Good Morning Shaun, Please accept our apologies for the mix up here. When you initially called, we called the manufacturer for a stock check/ETA and were provided with the wrong info at the time. It was only a few days later, when we were chasing an update were we informed the item was indeed discontinued. We did chase multiple times for answers as to why we were provided with the wrong info pre-sale. We were simply told that the stock is live and the 3 that were apparently available must have been sold in between the call and ordering. Again, we appreciate this wasn't an issue of your making and we'd very much like to apologise for any inconvenience. I ordered my goods and was told I would have delivery within 3-5 working days and three weeks later still have not had anything or heard anything, have been told they can’t get hold of the supplier and they were meant to call me back.

We have had a very poor experience with this company. We ordered blue quartz wetwall and have received something that is green. The company are refusing to refund us and take the item back because we did not request a sample first. We were not worried about the shade of blue we received but we wanted blue. They sent green. I will not be using this company again and will not recommend it

Hi Jane, We're sorry to hear you've not been happy with your recent purchase. Having looked into things, we can see that the Blue Quartz panels were delivered direct by the manufacturer Spashpanel, who use the same images we and every other online retailer selling this item also does. When we sent over your images, the manufacturer stated the finish was accurate and that the panels can appear a different shade to how they are displayed on screen, depending on the light of your bathroom/screen resolution. We do detail in this item description and item category that the shade is a blue/green and a sample request is advised prior to purchasing.
