I love the product, however, when I was ordering they gave me all the help I needed to order the right stuff, except the seal for the bottom of the panels, so I ordered it separately paying another delivery charge. I left on business and the job was being completed while I was away and came back to realise that the goods delivered were not what I requested. It was MDF instead of ply. I should have checked. So I think it is a shared responsibility that I now have MDF panels in my shower which I never wanted.

Thanks for your feedback, we’re really pleased to hear you love the product overall. That said, we're sorry for the mix-up with the MDF panels. On the detail regarding the bottom profile, it's an optional extra that most typically do not order. We sent over an item list with the detail that you should "triple check with your fitter" before placing your order. The items were discounted, delivered within the timeframes mentioned and we provided free samples and plenty of advice leading up to the order - it's a shame a picking error from the manufacturer has spoiled what was a superb service. Good Afternoon Josh, We're sorry to hear about the damage to your item. Your order was for a chrome shower enclosure, the picture displayed in this review does not match the product ordered from us - it looks to be white plastic? We've checked all inboxes today and we cannot find any email or reference to your problem. Nothing comes up under your name, order or email. We also have a telephone line for customers needing to speak to anyone and can't see a record containing your number? I wouldn't recommend rubberduckbathrooms I've never dealt with a company that charges you an absolute fortune to send stuff back and consistently in there terms and conditions try to get out of paying you a refund

Hi Andrew, We're sorry to hear you've been unhappy with the service provided. Unfortunately we do not offer a return service for unwanted items, they're returned to us at your own cost. We can see you placed your order with us on the 21st and it was rejected at the point of delivery on the 25th, as you had changed your mind on the item ordered. As explained, when you reject an order without cancelling or informing us pior, the cost to transport the goods will be deducted from any refund applied. Had you cancelled your order prior to dispatch a full refund would have been applied as is typical for online sales. Rubberduck Bathrooms Team

Will not use you again, the service as others point is shocking. I called up 5 days straight chasing my order to be told something else everytime. Kept being told parts were being delivered next day and never came. Asked to speak with a manager to complain but was told they will just tell me the same and refused to put me through. For the money we spent it was a joke, would have rather just gone down to a local bathroom merchants.

Unfortunately my experience with Rubber Duck was not a good one. As described by the bathroom fitter : “ It’s been a journey “ - but for all the wrong reasons. The biggest issue was a lack of communication from the company- I was continually chasing items as they weren’t being dispatched/delivered as promised and I wasn’t updated. It was very frustrating and became quite stressful as I kept having to reschedule fitting. I was informed by one staff member that he wasn’t paid to listen to me “vent off” - where do you go from there ?

Item arrive smashed. It took me a week for a response to my emails, and that was only after reviewing on trust pilot. It then took a further week to confirm a return, which is still ongoing.

We try our best to get items out to customers as quick and as cheap as possible, it's unfortunate that couriers can at times be a little heavy handed. As confirmed in the email sent to you at 9:36am yesterday morning, the manufacturer has stated that they do not require a return for the refund to be issued. Good Morning Craig, We're sorry to hear about the issues with your delivery. Looking back we can see you placed your order with us late Friday morning and it was dispatched within a couple of hours for delivery on Monday. The delivery service was tracked with a notification containing your ETA going out on dispatch, another notification going out to you on the day of delivery all with tracking details to monitor the item in transit to you. The item was delivered without issue as planned and given there was no answer, it left in a safe place in front of the vehicle on the drive as shown in the image. Let me proceed to purchase large items, paid £35 for delivery, they sent smaller items which Included a tap I had chosen to suit the vanity unit basin. After me chasing DHL and rubberduck for over a week they finally sent an email stating they couldn't post large items. I asked for a refund plus £35 for delivery charge for the large item postage, from what I can decipher they only refunded approximately £15 of the delivery charge. Not good customer service.

Slow and uncaring about resolving an order issue. Even when trying to explain that the parts sent did not fit the bath, were not interested initially on passing on message to Villeroy and Boch.

Issues occurred from the outset: - website showed items in stock when they were not - decided to replace a product without consultation. The replacement bore no resemblance to that ordered - zero communication once part of the order was dispatched. I had to chase Rubberduck to obtain updates. Never again will I use this company

Hi Norman, We're sorry to hear you've been unhappy with the service provided. The panels advertised we're in stock at the time of the order. However, as you were replacing existing panels, you included a detail requesting ones from a specific panel batch. On speaking with the manufacturer, we understand that they had dispatched the panel accessories separately, while they located the requested batch in their warehouse. Unfortunately the panels remaining from that batch were deemed unfit for purpose and you were sent one from the next available run. A dispatch confirmation email containing tracking links was also provided on receipt from the manufacturer, so you could keep an eye on things your side. Unlike many other retailers we also operate a customer service line, open to you and all our valued customers should anyone need to clarify any details too. Rubberduck Bathrooms Team

This is why we advise all customers that it's important to see a sample of your chosen panel before you commit to purchasing. This helps to negate any issues with colour mismatches due to the room lighting or colour settings on-screen giving a false impression of the finish. We offer free samples across most bathroom wall panels, with other manufacturers offering samples for those we do not hold in stock. I was extremely disappointed with your returns policy. The only way I could return the item that was actually just an incorrect size order was to pay a £75 shipment fee which basically cost the same as what the panel cost in the first place I will be leaving a bad review on Google.

Good morning Juliana, To be honest, we're extremely disappointed to see your review. You placed your order on Thurs afternoon of the 20th, for items that carried a longer lead time than you needed. You emailed shortly after placing your order, asking if we could speed things up as you had a fitter booked in. We responded to your email within 10 minutes to say we would arrange to split the delivery at no further cost to you. This meant we covered 3 separate delivery fees from suppliers/couriers. In the evening after your order arrived, you emailed requesting to return the bath panels. We politely responded first thing in the morning, with the link to our returns information. We never offered a price for a return service. We're not sure what else you expected from us, most people would consider the above to be a great service. Rubberduck Bathrooms Team

Really poor experience - used you for the first time and really, really poor communication with several delays to order. My customer was really upset she had no shower to use for weeks due to delay after delay.

In this instance, the delivery was handled by the manufacturer, and typically we wouldn’t need to get involved once the ETA is confirmed and products have been dispatched. We can see there was an issue with damage during delivery on part of your order, which did delay completion somewhat. A further delay was experienced as the courier reached out to book in the delivery of the outstanding items but they didn't receive a response. Good Afternoon Janine, We're sorry to hear you've been unhappy with the service provided. With returns, of course we can accept them. That's not a problem at all. That being said, customers do have a duty of care to return any unwanted item to us in a resalable condition. When you called to ask why the return of your glass screen had been rejected at the point of delivery, we kindly explained that the outer packaging was not only badly damaged but it was also covered in black tape. Given the item looked to have taken several knocks in transit and the packaging was now rendered useless, the integrity of the glass contained could not be guaranteed. Meaning we would not be able to sell or use the item for a fit with any confidence. This is why we ask all customers to take images of items/packaging prior to returning them, so if any issues like this arise you can file a claim with your chosen courier. We appreciate this may not have been the news you wanted to hear but we cannot accept items back in that condition unfortunately. Rubberduck Bathrooms Team

I was happy with the pre sale but the after sale in return I am very disappointed in. There was no problem with the product but the colour was not as expected so I paid the return fee and arranged my own return. I have had to chase my refund twice. I understand refunds go through a process but to have no acknowledgment email from the company I feel is poor. I am left guessing when I will receive my money back.

Please speak to the your manager and he will explain why I have not received any of my orders not a happy customer and if you had looked on my order status it will show you that I have not received it ???and if you hadn’t asked for a review I would not of sent one

Given items typically arrive within a day of dispatch, we look to ask customers about the service received. We can see your order was dispatched on the 4th however, it looks like the carrier had some difficulty completing the drop and replacements needed to be dispatched on the 6th. On speaking with the customer service team this afternoon, we understand that second delivery is still outstanding and rather than wait, we have dispatched another set of trims from our stock to avoid any further delays.
