Hi Roland, Please accept our apologies about the delay here. Having taken a look it would appear the manufacturer who supplies these items got confused with the invoice address being from non mainland UK as they don't offer a delivery service that covers your area. We have since remedied the issue with the delivery address being confirmed as your chosen courier to get the items over to you. Again, apologies for the delay and any inconvenience caused. Sent wrong part which held up job and then refused to accept unused products which were left over as out of time, which was their fault. Atrocious customer service!

Good Morning Ann, We're sorry to hear you've not been happy with the service here. On looking, we can see several orders in the system dating back to mid March. Unfortunately we cannot accept open ended returns for unused materials as part of a fit. That being said, we can't see any issue with what was delivered, as it appears what you received was exactly what was ordered at the time. This is why we advise all customers to order in advance of arranging fitters on site and to double check that the items ordered at the time are all you need to complete the job at hand. This whole process was long and drawn out, there was alot of miscommunication on their part, promises to keep us updated which were never fulfilled, which left us with a very unhappy customer. Very helpful and forthcoming on the phone, soon as off the phone its like your totally forgotten about. Lied to the customer also and said there had been no issues. Also said our reply to his email had gone to the junk folder - which is why it took another few days for our item to even be ordered. All in all, a negative experience, and this was all with a manager too.

Hi Katie from KBB Plumbing, Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback on your recent order. It would appear the comments only tell part of the story here, so we'll fill in the gaps no worries. The process was drawn out as 7 days after receiving the items ordered, your fitter called to report damage on the bath and a new one needed to be ordered ASAP. It was agreed that a new bath could be sent out at our cost price as a goodwill gesture, but we needed to take a further payment before that could happen. Rather than call, the billing info was sent over VIA email and as we all know can happen, the email was flagged as spam. This was picked up within a few days and payment was taken. As soon as the payment cleared, the bath was sent out next working day. With regards to your customer, the only message that was passed at the time, was that we could not disclose any information relating to the order due to GDPR, as they did not place the order. Good Morning David, We're sorry to hear your review invitation wasn't well received. We do think you've been unfair with the rating however. The invites are sent out automatically after a dispatch email is sent out to yourself. Your order contained a number of smaller items that we hold in our warehouse, which were sent out shortly after ordering without fuss. You also have a custom made acrylic wall panel on your order. This item has a 4-6 week lead time, as clearly stated on the website before you placed your order. Given this was placed 5 weeks ago, we are a little confused as to why you feel hard done by here. Shockingly bad delivery on an Elements Wall Kit - the adhesive, boards and fixing kit where all delivered separately over a period of 10 days!!

Hi Chris, We're sorry to hear that you've been unhappy with the courier service used by our supplier. Having looked at the tracking links provided, we can see the items left our suppliers in one one consignment, but they were then split by the couriers. While uncommon, this was likely due to space restrictions on the vehicle used on that day. That being said, the links do state that the order was delivered across two working days not 10 days, as described above. Rubberduck are a go between. Do not use them. Go to an actual supplier. It’s unfortunate when one feels the need to rate a company as badly as I feel compelled to. I don’t do this with glee. But I’ve lost out. From me ordering with a set delivery date (had to call them back when they did not keep to the delivery date I set and confirmed with them!) to having to deal with a delivery man with attitude (there’s a pandemic and I don’t have to help you, his words), to then having to return my item (me out of pocket by £82 to get it back to them so I can get my money back?!), my whole ordeal with Rubberduck has been regrettable. I can only walk away with the opinion that this is a cowboy outfit working on a shoestring, with no regard to customer service.

Good Morning Lisa, We're sorry to hear you've been unhappy with your order. We do feel your comments are unfair however. The only difference with ordering through us and our suppliers in this instance would be a higher price point for you the customer. They deliver these baths on our behalf using their own courier networks. With regards to the delivery date, a preferred date (not guaranteed) was passed on to the suppliers at the time. However, we do mention that we cannot guarantee specific dates for delivery. The problems started on receipt of your bath, when the delivery driver mentioned they could not enter the property due to the current restrictions relating to the ongoing pandemic. This is despite the fact we display across the website, that we operate a kerbside delivery service and drivers are not insured to enter the property. Further issues arose when it became apparent the bath you had chosen was not the correct size for your installation. We or most other online retailers cannot absorb the cost of returns on large items when they have been ordered without taking in to account the dimensions displayed. Took payment for an item then said they couldn't supply for 3 months. I had to repeatedly request a refund before I got a response a few weeks later. No apology at any point. Avoid!

Hi Nicola, We're sorry you feel like the service wasn't what you expected here. As we connect to multiple manufacturers up and down the country, there are times when items come in and out of stock and need to go through production before becoming available again. Given you placed your order over the weekend, we were not informed your items were out of stock until Monday. We passed this detail on as it came in, with the option to cancel the order or for us to seek alternatives. I bought Douche Shower Toilet spray. The item arrived on time but it was a wrong shower spray (not the one advertised). I was told to return the item (at my own cost) and I will be refunded (less postage cost). After two weeks, I am still waiting for the refund.

Waiting for showerwall panels to be delivered which were due last Thursday (having been delayed by 3 days). Communication was very good initially but when delivery failed to arrive last Thursday Rubberduck appeared to go AWOL! No replies to my numerous phone messages or emails! Whilst I appreciate the restrictions caused by the pandemic the other plumbing suppliers that I have used for this refurbish have kept me in touch continually with phone calls and chat bots. I eventually managed to get hold of a very helpful chap at one of the branches who chased it up for me only to be told that they would not now be delivered until this Thursday. I have tried ringing Rubberduck today to check on my Thursday delivery but no reply. Will try again tomorrow.

Hi Jason, Thanks for taking your time to leave feedback, we’re sorry that you’ve had a bad experience here. The trim you ordered on Saturday 13th March was packaged in a PVC tube and dispatched ASAP via FEDex on Monday the 15th March using a next day service and delivered on the 16th March. Since then, we have not had any contact from yourself to advice of any damages to your delivery. This review is the first we've heard of any issue. We are sorry to hear you item has been damaged, however we have taken all steps possible to protect the item in transit. Should the item arrive damaged, you can contact us within a reasonable time frame, we can then raise a damage claim and dispatch replacements usually the same day. Good Morning Paul, We're sorry for any inconvenience caused here. The tap on your order was a stocked item, we usually have plenty in the warehouse. As the order was placed on a Monday morning, the stock had not yet been allocated on the orders that came in over the weekend. The day after you placed your order, we were made aware the stock was not available and the manufacturer mentioned they had been discontinued. We then contacted you immediately with an alternative in mind. This was not suitable, so a quick refund was applied. We're sorry that you consider this to be a 'shocking' service. While it may have arrived damaged, we are assured it certainly never left that way. As a reseller, it's unfortunate we cannot control the courier networks used by our suppliers. We can however look to react in the right way in the rare instance that things don't go to plan. Which we have. three boards damaged , literally thrown in the back of a delivery van like sheets of shuttering ply !!! awful , sent pictures of damage but was told they could not open the attachment ! no call to ask if everything was ok , nearly £2000 spent with this firm but never again ! M.Williams

Good Afternoon Marc, Apologies for any inconvenience caused, we appreciate it can be frustrating when things don't go to plan. The items on your order were dispatched directly by the manufacturer using their chosen courier network. Regardless who you order from online, they will be despatched in the same way as that's how they operate. In the rare instance of damage on delivery, the manufacturer requests images of said damage, as part of their replacement procedure. The file sent over was not a standard image format and could not be opened to complete this procedure. As soon as the images were made visible, a quick replacement was sent out free of charge. Sent back first order as packing was damaged and fluid leaking. Exactly same happened with second delivery which I kept as I had run out and was hoping to salvage something. Will not be using rubber duck again. Photographic evidence available.

These items are well packaged and protected prior to sending out. Normally, we rarely see issues with deliveries on these items. We are aware however, that damage can happen in transit when using 3rd party couriers. I'm glad to hear a replacement was sent out free of charge and without delay. Had we been informed of the damage to the replacement, we could have requested another to go out with extra packaging applied again free of charge. Apologies for the inconvenience. Hi Jeanette, Thanks for taking time to leave feedback here. We think there must have been a miscommunication however. The items on your order are out of stock and an update was sent over shortly after ordering mentioning that fact. The issues with stock were down to the bottleneck created at the ports given the current problems surrounding the pandemic and change to administration with Brexit looming. We did offer to source an alternative or keep the order in the system, to secure the stock when the items do become available. Hi Mohammed, Apologies for the mix up here. The item on your order had been discontinued and we were only made aware of the fact a few days after we placed the order with the manufacturer. We did manage to source the item from another supplier, who still held limited stock, all be it at a much higher price than we would normally pay. As you placed the order with us at the advertised price, we absorbed this item cost and got the item out to yourself ASAP. Again, we'd like to apologise for the delay in receiving your goods. Having taken a look, we can see several delays on delivery, despite reassurances from the supplier that your order will have been delivered in full this week. We can only apologise that this reassurance has not been met. As a reseller for larger distributors across the UK, it's difficult for us to provide updates over the weekend, as most only operate Mon-Fri. This was relayed during a telephone call today. All while apologising for the delay and reassuring that we would provide an update as early as possible on Monday morning. At this point the operative was met with profanity and abuse, which we will not tolerate. The operative tried to calm the situation, but it became clear the conversation could not continue and ended the call. Further communication will be provided VIA email. We were waiting on a stock order coming in for that week, which extended delivery windows a few days beyond what is normally expected.
