Hi Usa, Thanks for taking the time to offer feedback and apologies for the delay on receiving your goods. Having taken a look, we can see these items were due to be delivered direct by Roman using their dedicated courier network. We can see a number of notes left on the order where we had chased the manufacturer for updates but couldn't get through to yourself to pass them on. That being said, there was a delay between the manufacturer releasing the items to the courier and said courier getting the items out, which we can only apologise for. We hope you can understand that unavoidable delays can happen when courier networks are as busy as they are given the current climate. Kind regards, Rubberduck Bathrooms Team

Ordered a shower tray expecting 3-5 days delivery as listed on the website below the item. Received a confirmation email the next day with an expected delivery date about 6 weeks away. Cancelled the order but still waiting for my refund over a week later and no reply to my email.

Hi Malcolm, Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback on your experience. Apologies for any inconvenience caused here, The item in question is normally dispatched on a 3-5 day service direct from the manufacturer. At the time of ordering however, there was a large increase in demand for this (and most other) shower trays as people were rushing to buy before the second lockdown was imposed. We emailed confirmation of your refund on the 31st of October, this was finalised within 7 working days from that point. I place an order on the 26th October after 7 days I still did not receive it so contacted you and cancelled the order uou srnt me confirmation of cancellation but still waiting for my money back this is totally unacceptable

Good Morning Chris, Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback here. We're sorry to hear you've not been too happy with the refund process. We've had slight delays with refunds of late simply down to the fact it's taking longer for manufacturers to arrange returns given the current climate. That being said a refund was processed within 8 working days of us being notified. As we mention across the site, refunds can take up to 30 days to process but 99% of them are actioned within 24 hours. We hope this helps explain the situation. Hi Phil, Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback however, we feel the rating is somewhat unfair. Having looked in to things we can see the address was entered incorrectly initially, meaning we had to call to confirm before the supplier could engage a courier. Also, the order was amended at this point, which extended the delivery window slightly. That being said, we can see your order was split by said couriers meaning you had two consignments arrive over different days instead of one. Spent quite a large sum of money with Rubberduck, ordered a bath, radiator, shower tray and 2 pieces of furniture. Radiator arrived and it was the wrong colour. Radiator valves where a different colour to the radiator they did se d but different again to those ordered. Bath arrived missing parts. Shower tray drain was wrong orientation to that shown on website. So needed returning. Both pieces of furniture had manufacturing damages. Rubberduck accept 0% responsibility for these occurances. Simply writing them off as the manufacturers fault. They state that all items must be unboxed and checked by the customer within 48 hours of delivery. This is absolutely not possible when doing a large bathroom and wanting to keep everything as safe as possible until the day they are required due to tiling etc going on. The customer service is poor, they accept that items are poorly constructed but leave this to almost feel like it’s the customers fault rather than try to solve an issue. They want me to purchase another £1000 sink unit even though they admit the first is marked, dented and scratched. I wanted to shop local but in future il be ordering via the internet regardless of location etc.

Having taken a look in to the matter, we can see there were several issues with damaged or incorrect items which we can only apologise for. It's not that we accept zero liability here. We do however, need to manage expectation and provide answers as to why rare issues like this do occur. We employ policies on returns/damage notifications in line with the industry standard and UK law to protect both our customers and us from issues that happen outside of our control. Good Morning Miranda, Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback. We are a little confused by the rating however. Having looked in to your order, we can see that a discount worth close to 20% was applied by the sales team at the time of ordering. Further to this, our team chased the supplier for an update on delivery as soon as we were made aware of any apparent delay. It turned out the items were delivered to a neighbour as the supplier could not reach anyone VIA the contact details provided on the order. New shower cubicle fitted and looked good. Only thing spoiling it were the trims. The inner door trim was damaged - had been bent by the look of it and 2 kinks left in it. The trim for the bottom of the door the main problem. It was a "bubble" trim and the bubble was causing the door to not shut without being pushed forcibly. The plumber cut the bubble off but the angled part which deflects the water back into the shower from the door was still catching on the frame and still making shutting the door difficult. Advised the shop and told replacements would be ordered. Collected replacements 20th Oct and discussed the problem with staff in the shop and I advised that the new bottom trim was going to cause the same problem. Fitted the inner door trim and fine. I phoned the shop back on Weds 21st and advised a lady of the problem. She was speaking to a guy in the shop and she passed a message on that he had my address and phone number and would make an appointment and come and have a look at it. The original trim has been left fitted and about 5 / 6 inches of it have stripped off and left hanging to show them the problem Now Sat 31st and no response from them. A job left spoiled through their lack of interest. !!!

Good Afternoon Alan, We're sorry to hear about the issues your fitters have had with fitting this item. As we detail on the product page and at the time of enquiring, this item requires an adjustment to be made on the side panel to allow clearance for the door. This is annotated in the fitting instructions provided pre/post sales and makes the installation fairly easy. The manufacturer was kind enough to send out a replacement first time around. This was despite the item being installed incorrectly and not being liable to do so. They would not send out further replacements free of charge however, as the fitter essentially made the same mistake twice. Good Afternoon Mr Leach, We're sorry to hear that part of your order did not arrive in due course. We can see from your order, that the item in question was due to be delivered direct by the manufacturer. Unfortunately, the updates provided from the manufacturer at the time did not come to fruition and, as soon as we realised the tray was not going to arrive in time, we cancelled that part of your order. It's not uncommon for other suppliers to stock returns or indeed new items, if they are fast moving items for that supplier, as we do too. This is why you may have had success when shopping around. Unless a company operates a large warehouse/dedicated courier network, (which would increase product prices for all customers), this is the way the bathroom sector operates online UK wide I'm afraid. I placed an order with Rubberduck and waited for a delivery confirmation. After 4 days of receiving nothing I contacted Rubberduck to see what was happening about my order. They got in touch with the supplier who said they were waiting to receive stock in the following day and my order would be dispatched the day after. The man at Rubberduck said I would get a confirmation email but I didnt. After another 3 days I got back in touch with Rubberduck to tell them that I still hadnt heard anything about my delivery and so they called the supplier. I was then told that someone called Paula from the suppliers had called me and arranged delivery for the following day. I had received no such phone call and had definitely not spoken to anyone called Paula. I was working the next day and so no-one would be in to take delivery so I asked the man at Rubberduck to change the delivery to the following week as I would be wirking from home. He said he would get it changed and call me back to confirm. I received no phone call so the following day I called again and explained the situation to another man at Rubberduck. He saud that no notes had been put on my record to show any calls that I had made but he said he would contact the supplier and call me back. I then received a phone call probably within 10 mins from the delivery driver to say that he was outside my house and that I had to come straight away or he would take the items away again. I had to ask permission to leave work and rush home to take delivery which was bad enough but guess what I still didnt receive a call back from Rubberduck. I feel that their customer service is lacking and they ought to invest in some staff training to make sure that they at least follow through on what they say they are going to do.

Likely due to the phone lines being very busy at the time or not being able to get through on the number provided. Unfortunately, some email platforms flag these emails as spam and they filter in to your spam folder. We don't like any of our customers to have a bad experience, so if ever you need anything again please do give us a call and we'll see if there's anything we can do with the price to make the next experience a much better one! Looks like lovely products online, however due to poor customer service I have not even received them! Spent a considerable amount on bathroom products, but no communication to say when it would be delivered so delivery was missed. Courier card had no contact number other than my own, which said they had tried to contact me (no missed call). However, I had provided my partner’s mobile number, for delivery purposes, knowing he was working from home, yet when I contacted rubber duck, they said I had not provided it. I said I certainly had and if they could not see it then there must be a problem on their system. I pointed out that if they had phoned the mobile number I provided, that the delivery would not have been missed. Their member of staff said “You didn’t give us the number. It’s your fault you missed the delivery, not our fault you didn’t give us the number”. The manner in which he spoke to me was patronising, smug and quite frankly unacceptable. (The contact number is also written on the invoice that they sent me so I clearly did provide it and it is they who failed to provide it to their courier.) I am still waiting for a manager to contact me, as it is unreasonable that they expect me to pay £42 for their mistake in not giving the courier the correct details to contact me. Such a shame, as I said, the products look nice, but their poor customer service and communication failure means I will not be using again and can certainly not recommend.

On checking, we can see a confirmation/dispatch email clearly stating the date of delivery was sent out and the telephone number added at the time of ordering is present in that email. If you did not receive this, check your spam folder as sometimes they get flagged. That being said, all info that was provided was passed on to the manufacturer who then engaged their own couriers. While we would like to, we can't influence when a manufacturer courier will or will not call ahead of delivery. Again, we'd like to apologise for any inconvenience here. I have placed 2 orders. The first was dispatched according to the confirmation after two working days (not one as stated). The second order was paid for but I see now confirmation after 5 working days and no item. As the second item was very small compared to the wall I am surprised. There has been no contact to inform me of a delay.

The delivery really let you down! I received a dispatch email pretty promptly, however the product didn't arrive for at least 2 weeks! unfortunately I won't be recommending to any other tradesmen.

You placed your order with us on the evening of the 29th and the initial email sent at that time was not a dispatch email, it was simply an order confirmation. The second email sent on the 30th was a dispatch notice as provided by the manufacturer, which had an ETA of the 12th clearly displayed in line 1 of the email. Your items arrived within that ETA, so everything went as planned without issue. We advise all customers to read post purchase emails to help manage expectation and to avoid any delays in fitting. Unfortunately while rare, damages can occur during transit and the powdered paint finish on the radiator you purchased is a little more susceptible to being marked when not handled with care. Having looked in to your order, we can see that you ordered 14 items from several different manufacturers. As the larger items we display across the website are dispatched direct from their respective manufacturer, it makes it difficult for all items to arrive in a single consignment. Unless we bring them in to us first and dispatch on a pallet service. This would delay delivery times even further and increase the cost to you the customer. Also, we can see that email confirmation and dispatch notices were sent at the time of ordering and times of dispatch. Unfortunately, these can filter in to your spam folder, if you check they should all be there. Thanks again for shopping with us, if ever you need anything else you know where we are. Very pleasant staff to deal with at point of sale. Everyone dives for cover once there is a problem though. Orders arrived damaged or with missing items. Notified RD straight away. Two weeks later still waiting for a collection date for damaged goods and have heard nothing about refunds. Yet another call to them.

In these instances, the manufacturer would contact you directly to notify of a collection date. If this hasn't happened yet, we can chase them for an update no worries at all. I ordered a Showerwall kit in August which was quoted as 3-6 days delivery. It took 3 weeks to arrive, which included me chasing several times. The company that supplies Rubberduck (IDS) appear to have the most unreliable computer system, as every time I phoned it was down. When the kit eventually arrived there were 2 different colour walls. Needless to say, IDS’s system was down and then the lorry that could collect was off the road, so it took a further 10 days to collect the kit, and then my refund was ‘stuck’ (?!) and only after chasing some more was it processed correctly. Whilst I appreciate the error may not have been Rubberduck’s fault, ultimately they sell the product and the responsibility for satisfaction lies with them. Their customer service is variable. Some of the people I have spoken to were helpful and returned my calls when promised, some were very rude. I wouldn’t use Rubberduck again on the basis that either they are selling products from unreliable suppliers or their service is really poor....either scenario giving an unsatisfactory result!

Hi Saffron, Apologies you haven't had the usual Rubberduck Experience here. Unfortunately, as we're all having to deal with the current global situation as best we can, the passage of information between our suppliers and couriers has suffered at times. The increase in demand post lock down, (at the time of your order), put further stress on these lines of communication. While we try to keep all customers updated every step of the way, it simply was not possible at this time. Thankfully, we're lucky enough for the most part to have a customer base that appreciates the effort our small team goes to while still looking to offer the lowest possible price across a large portfolio of bathroom products. Good Morning Zana, Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback on your recent purchase. We are a little confused as to the rating however. The RRP on the tiles you purchased is £145, we retail them at £108, 25% below RRP. We appreciate some dedicated tile retailers may be able to source them at an even cheaper rate due to volume discounts but, that certainly doesn't mean we are looking to pull the wool over anyone here. Our advice to anyone buying online is to shop around. You'll soon find we are cheaper than most retailers out there and we offer price matching where we can too. Thanks again for buying with us Zana. I only gave you a star because I couldn’t have gone lower. After a month of chasing for my entire order I’ve still not received It all to date. I have never even received a single follow call to enquire if I’ve received my order or the progress of my deliver. I will not use back rubber duck in future purchase or recommend your services

Very poor contact ordered 7 days went by no email or phone call rang them only to find my order was not available until mid October the job it was for had to be completed by end of September the said they would refund sameday and would be in bank same day took 3days suggest you ring and ask if and when stock available would not us them again
