“Delivery was simply left on the ground floor without even ringing my doorbell. Item far too heavy for me to carry upstairs. Unable to check that it is undamaged (as requested) until it is being installed.”

Good Morning Natalia, We're a little surprised to see such a low service rating here to be honest. We can see that your order was picked up on the morning of the 1st and was dispatched VIA FedEx on a tracked next day service the very next morning. On dispatch an email was provided with tracking links, so you could monitor the journey of your item, and the detail that all deliveries are kerbside only. The details regarding deliveries can be found across the website presale in the FAQs, terms and in both the confirmation and dispatch emails received after placing your order too. “First time purchasing from Rubberduck. Had to ring a couple of times with questions, answered quickly, person I was to was most helpful and extremely polite. Advised product may take 2-3 days to arrive, it was at my door in less than 24hrs. Highly recommend”

“Overall the service was ok. Ceiling panels fine but damaged and the trim is awful. The damage period is far too short. Unless you are going to unpack every single panel and check it there and then it’s worthless. We found about 10% of the panels damaged as we used them over a few days to install 2 ceilings. The ceiling trim for gloss panels was a dirty matt colour which didn’t match and the trim and bent or snapped at the slightest manipulation. The wet wall trim was even worse. It was bent out of shape before we used it and it just snapped and disintegrated as we tried to cut it or fit it to the wall. I would not buy trim from Rubberduck again, which as it matches the wet wall and panels, means we probably won’t be using Rubberduck again, which is a shame because their customer service is ok and prices reasonable. Final issue is the sheer amount of plastic waste, both packaging and protective films. Its 2022, do better. Saved from being a 1* review as the second order we received was much important in terms of packaging.”

Good Afternoon Sam, We're very sorry to hear about the issues with damage on delivery. We happen to agree with you here - we'd love to be able to extend that timeframe as much as possible and reduce the amount of packaging protection needed to get the item to you undamaged. The unfortunate reality is that these policies and practices are enforced on Rubberduck Bathrooms by the manufacturers and suppliers that we connect to. If we don't correctly package or file a claim with the companies that cause the damage within the first 24-48 hours, it's us that has to pay for a brand new item as well as the damaged item that arrived too! The complexities and cost implications of supply chains are often overlooked these days, as people look to compare small family companies against multi-billion pound organisations such as Amazon. We do listen and learn from customer feedback and we are looking into ways to negate the increase in courier damages during the busier periods without the use of extra plastics. Again, we're sorry you've not had the normal Rubberduck experience here. If ever you need anything in the future give us a call and we'll make sure the next one is much better! “It was over 10 days delivery time, I had to email and ask where the parts were. It seemed nobody had ordered them in from your supplier. Its a shame your dropshiping. They never came in time for our installers to fit, having left over 2 weeks for the fitting date. Had to source from elsewhere. Now im stuck with an order I dont need. Will not risk using again.”

Good Morning Jason, We're very sorry to hear about the initial delay here. We can see the order was placed on the 20th and looking at the tracking links provided the order appears to have been delivered on the 28th. We typically stock and dispatch these items on a next day service however, in this instance, we were waiting on a stock order coming in to us and had to send them direct through the manufacturer instead. The order would normally carry a 2-5 working day ETA and we can only apologise for the extra day that it took to arrive. If you contact us within 14 days of receipt you could always return your items. Once accepted, a full refund will be provided so long as the items arrive back to us within 14 days after we confirm the return. Rubberduck Bathrooms Team

“Superb service and a good price, I had a small issue with delivery damage from a third party, however this was dealt with very efficiently with the third party actually initiating the replacement having noticed the damage on delivery. I can understand and totally appreciate the damage as they were transporting very large panels with delicate edges, but the response and service to that damage for me was what counted and was sorted within two days with me having to do nothing - Well done - definitely will use again.”

“Excellent customer service, decent pricing, just let down by their couriers and suppliers. Shower tray delivered split in half, replacement to be sent overnight but supplier refused so instead of delivery on Friday, not done till the Monday. Rubberduck's customer service apologetic but couldn't help.”
