Product faulty on delivery and was not refunded all of my purchase price lost 60 as was not told you had to pay to send back faulty goods and 60 was even more than the delivery price absolutely disgusted will never purchase from your company again and will advise all my friends and family not to purchase your goods the goods were purchased from another company called international decorative services I have since purchased goods from their showroom and I would highly recommend their products

Thank you for your order and thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We take every review seriously and use all information given to help improve our service. I can see at a showerwall 2 side kit was purchased on 3rd February and received your items on the 6th February which were delivered direct from the manufacturer (IDS / Internal Decorative Service). You called in on Saturday the 9th February to report a fault with the boards (3 days after receiving the items, checking the items and signing for them in good condition which is outside our insurance period) saying they were warped. We offered to replaces the item for you but you told us that the item was no longer suitable for your project as they were to large to carry into the property and you wished for them to be returned. As you wanted to "return of items as no longer required" this would be subject to either yourself returning the items (UK Distant Selling Rules) or we offered to collect at a charge (the amount IDS charge us to collect and restock) which you accepted. The boards have since been collected by IDS and have been inspected and found to be none faulty once laid and stored flat. It confuses us to why you suggest people purchase from IDS direct at full retail cost, rather then through ourselves at a discount (trade) price when it is the exact same boards, coming from the exact same warehouse, delivered by the exact same people.

Terrible experience. Received broken products and noticed them immediately. Was promised replacement items to be sent the next working day. I rang the next working day to confirm they’d be sent and it was confirmed. Waited at home all day the following day and when I called late afternoon to see what was going on I was told nothing had been sent because they don’t have any in stock! Would never use again.

I was sent a cheaper Shower Panel to the one I ordered and paid for and have been told that they cannot do anything about it because it was correctly ordered even though it was a different colour. If you ordered a new BMW car Series 3 and they sent you a Series 1 instead, would you be happy, and all they said was tough, live with it.

Hi Sir, I apologise with regards to the frustration that this has caused, i wanted to set out why we are unable to reduce the costs on this order once you identified the wrong panels had been received and fitted by your installer. We ask that items are checked at the point of delivery as human error can occur, where this does we will of course resolve the issue and replace damaged or incorrectly supplied boards/trims, however you didn't advise us of any issues with the panels being wrong until after the installation had occurred. We ordered the correct panels from Showerwall's distributor, when the delivery was made we were then invoiced by the distributor for the correct panels ordered which would indicate a picking error at the distributors however as they couldn't identify that the wrong panels had been sent and all paperwork was correct and signed for as stating you had received the correct items in good condition we had no options to replace the boards. When you advised you had fitted the panels, I detailed that as they have been fitted we cannot replace them but I would ask the distributor if they could identify a stock discrepancy to indicate they had issued the incorrect panels to you so we could look to offer a discount for the issue encountered. As they couldn't identify that the stock levels were wrong and due to them having paperwork signed detailing you had the correct panels they would not refund us for the difference, as a small retailer we are unable to cover these costs as we work on very small margins. I apologise regarding this and the frustration this has caused however can confirm we would of changed the panels without quibble before they were fitted if we were advised before the installation occurred.

Must be the worst business in the area combining shoddy service with poor quality goods.being disabled I had hoped for a little better service returning a faulty toilet But all they offered was a replacement but only when the faulty one was returned.we were never offered a refund and when we suggested they delivered the toilet and installed it we were told that they did not install toilets.avoid this company at all costs!!

We take all our customers and reviews very seriously. The toilet you purchased was an X Display toilet from within our Redcar showroom. Upon having your own installer install the toilet, and a basin unit you also purchased, the fitter discover the toilet to have a hairline crack and was leaking. As we were unable to establish if the toilet had been cracked during installation, or while in storage at your home, or during collection and transport we offered you a full replacement toilet which was not in stock and would of taken a couple of days to arrive, or an alternative toilet which you could of had straight away. You personally inspected the alternative toilet at our Middlesbrough branch but you were unhappy with the shape. We offered to get a direct replacement for you already, at no cost to yourself, and we even offered to deal directly with your installer to deliver the replacement toilet and take away the leaking toilet at the same time your installer returned to your property. How ever this was not acceptable to yourself and you were insistent that one of our installers installed the toilet. This is a service we do not offer. We install complete bathrooms and we do not install single items or continue a job where a previous installer has left a job incomplete. We do not understand as to what more we could of done for yourself as we tried to help and reduce any inconvenience to yourself

Hi Sir This is out for delivery today between 1130 and 1330, Abacus detail the courier was listing an operational delay on their system this morning which is why it didn’t arrive but they are not sure why it was delayed, please accept our apologies for this, the tracking link should be updated by 9am to reflect the details given above for ETA’s but it is confirmed as out on route to you today.

This company do not follow the consumer rights act in relation to return of faulty items. Their argument is that the item is not faulty. How they could Possibly know this without inspecting the item is beyond me! Forcing a customer to return the item to the manufacturer within the appropriate timeframe for a return to the seller is against consumer rights and was confirmed as such by the manufacturer of the item. If this is how they treat a problem with a £30 item I cannot imagine how they would deny responsibility (to at least investigate) of items costing £100’s!

"Thank you for your review however we feel this is not fair as the item was a seal kit for a bath or shower tray, you detail that it is not fit for purpose and the tape sticks to it self when removed from the backing paper, as the item is meant to be stuck to a shower tray and offer full waterproofing the item must be sticky to ensure a good seal when applied, the item has full installation instructions and we sell many of these without issue generally, while this was found to be unsatisfactory by yourself, we are unable to replace used items in this situation without it going through the manufacturer warranty process where the customer feels that an item is defective, when you contacted Rubberduck Bathrooms I sent you full contact details for the manufacturer so this could be followed up with them via the warranty process, once done if the manufacturer confirmed that the item was faulty we would look to replace or refund as required however are unable to do so if this item does not go through this process with the manufacturer, I have pasted my complete reply to your query when you contacted us below however cannot identify any contact to ourselves since this query was first raised, can you confirm who you have been speaking with regarding this within the company? my response to your initial query was as follows: Hi Thank you for your email and apologies regarding the issues you and your fitter have encountered, as this item has been used we are unable to accept a return on this product, as the retailer we are only able to accept returns on as new unused products, as this has been used it would be a warranty issue that would need to be followed up with the manufacturer. the manufacturer's website is https://www.abacus-bathrooms.co.uk/#!/links/contact-us, they will be able to give more detail on if they believe this is a warranty issue and what can be done to resolve it if it is a warranty issue. No communication other then the automated email.... I had to ring up to find out about my order only to be told it's going to take a week (hopefully)... the company is happy to take the order but not even giving an estimated delivery time. I'm stuck on a job waiting for my order.

Hi, apologies that you feel this process has not been as easy as it could have been however you ordered the item once we had closed down for Christmas on the 22nd December, we were unable when you chased for delivery to clarify the exact date until we reopened and had the item ready to go, we did detail the Christmas shutdown on the website in advance but apologise if you feel we didn't do enough to get these items to you, we will keep this process under review to see if we can streamline the process but are limited by when our couriers can deliver as to leave items with the courier in their depot over the Christmas shutdown would result in many damages and more effort to replace them in the new year once delivery had occurred.

Stay away, this people are crooks! Because of a mistake of the builders I had to cancel the order before it was dispatched, at the beginning they pretended it was delivered without proving it with a delivery note. Then they hold the delivery costs from the refund (again without showing any delivery note) and the 25% of the order just out of the blue and despite not being mentioned anywhere in the T&C's. I tried to resolve the sistuation by corresponding to them, however I had the impression they just wanted to take advantage of the circumstances to rip me off. I might have been unlucky, however I won't recommend this company at all.

Hi, Thank you for your review and apologies if you feel that this process was not customer friendly, as per our terms and conditions you have the right to cancel items up until they are dispatched, after dispatch you can still return items but the costs are different dependant on how you want to return the items, you can return the items at your own cost once received for a full refund, or the manufacturer will return them and charge return and restocking costs. if you had accepted the delivery and returned the items to us via your own courier, we would have given you a full refund for the items but as you cancelled the order en route the cost the manufacturer incurred for returning and restocking the products was passed on to us to pass on to you. Due to the detail relating to the reductions listed above, these costs were reduced from your refund however we have emails from before the order was stopped confirming there would be restocking costs and delivery charges which we would have to remove from your refund if you wanted to stop the delivery and have the items returned to the manufacturer, we accept that the customer has a right to cancel and return items however it is not the retailer or manufacturers cost to bear to return these items, this is the reason for the reduction but apologise if you feel this fell below what you would expect.

Received the order with missing screws, called them about it and they promised to send the screws until today, I haven’t received them screws to fix the shower. I don’t recommend rubber duck poor service

Unfortunately very poor delivery service. Won’t use again. Wanted to leave my order on the side of a busy road and was told by RDB that ALL UK delivery companies offer this. Absolute rubbish. Ordered goods elsewhere and they delivered right to my front door

Hi Simon A few facts about your order. You placed your order at 11pm on 23rd October for six items, wet room glass channels , arms & shower baskets. The next morning 24th Oct these items were dispatched and tracking detail forwarded to your email and mobile phone. At 10.50am on 26th Oct you signed for your items. 25 days later you called demanding that we send another support arm at a cost of £63.74 free of charge as you don't have it? You have been abusive to staff when it was explained that we would not be replacing the item after you had possession of your order for 3 & 1/2 weeks. If you wish to correspond with Rubberduck Bathrooms please do so by email as we wont accept anymore of your abusive calls threatening to come up to our store and ******* knock out the member of our staff. Please accept our apologies. We can see you emailed us on the 15 Nov 2018, at 7:44 PM and we replied at 9:31pm the same night, even though this is outside our working hours, asking for images to be sent. We have had no reply to this email. I can see you Have emailed through the website again on 17th at 9:49pm (Saturday night, again outside of business hours). Sent wrong bath. Took 5 days to recieve correct bath which also came a day late. Total disregard for workmen booked and 3 days spent waiting for deliveries. Would strongly recommend using a different retailer. Was told by companyvif I wasn’t in when the driver needed to collect the wrong bath (their mistake), id be charged the full amount!

Hi Gemma, I'm sorry the wrong bath was delivered, but our records show it was exchanged within a few days. All website including Rubberduck advise customer not to book workmen until the goods are delivered and checked. The bath was advertised with delivery within 5 working days by your own admission the correct bath was delivered after 5 days. Kind Regards Rubberduck Bathrooms

Hi, We are sorry to hear of the issue you have encountered, I have reviewed all correspondence for this order and cannot identify that we were ever made aware of this issue until you left this review today, if we were contacted and advised of the issue and given the opportunity to resolve the problem at the time it was received we would have replaced the item without quibble as we take our obligations seriously, however, due to the length of time since this item arrived we are unable to replace this item .

Unbelievably bad is an understatement, put an order in 2 weeks ago and asked if delivery could be a Monday or Friday. I got an email saying it would be delivered on the Friday. Some things come but where damaged. Got more items on the following Tuesday and Wednesday and some replacement parts that the delivery driver took back as damaged. Been emailing them about the parts still missing and damaged and am not getting a reply.

Don’t tell the truth got stopped £120 for 2 deliveries that could not be delivered first time the female driver was unable to get the order off the lorry due to broken pallet. Second to me was asked for fork lift truck to get the load off or it could not be delivered was never told on order that needed a fork lift truck these 2 non deliveries cost me £120 the company are refusing to refund the money avoid this company

Sorry for the issues with your order, but the information you are presenting here is not the full story. As a company we are charged £50 plus vat per pallet per drop. The items you purchased are large items and come on a double pallet which cost £100plus vat to deliver. On our website on the item you purchased and on a email email with the order confirmation on these items its states as follows: Please Note: This product is delivered on a single person delivery service and may come on a large pallet. Due to the large size of the items please ensure that an able bodied person is on site to assist the driver to unload and carry the items. The driver is NOT insured to take the goods inside your property. So therefore if the goods ordered are of a heavy or bulky nature, it is strongly recommended that at least two able bodied persons are available to get the goods inside the property. The first deliver indeed there was an issue which you informed us of while the delivery driver was on site that the tail lift was broken, not a broken pallet, and was unable to be removed from the van. We appologised and arrange for a second delivery. On arrival of the second delivery the only person on site was yourself and you were unable to carry the items off the van and assist the driver. The driver did ask if there was a falk lift so he could remove the items for you but this was not possible. The driver also made a complaint to his depo head office do to the manner in which you spoke to him. This is the failed delivery you are being charged for. After the second delivery you canceled the order and your money was refunded.

I contacted Rubber Duck Bathrooms about an Abacus no more leaks sealing kit that was faulty. When I spoke to them the general attitude (although polite) was very dismissive of the issue. I was advised that they had sold a large quantity of this product without complaint and that I would have to contact the manufacturer themselves. I did this and was advised that any returns/complaints should be made to the seller as this is the process under the consumer rights act. Rubber Duck Bathrooms will not acknowledge this and I keep being fobbed off with the promise of a return call when they have spoken to the Manager who always seems to be in meetings or not in work. I have returned the item to the company with a letter stating my consumer rights but have yet to hear anything from them. This has made me think twice about buying from unknown companies online when they won’t even look at the product I have a genuine problem with.

Ordered £800 worth of showerwall panels and adhesive from this company which arrived on time, but we found that the adhesive did not stick to the wall. We phoned the company and they spoke to the manufacturer of the adhesive who confirmed there was a bad batch and agreed to refund us for the six adhesives and one panel that was damaged by it. They said the refund would reach my credit card within 3-4 days. No refund appeared and after a couple weeks we emailed them to chase it up and were replied to stating that they had no record of the problem and wouldn't be refunding us. Tried to argue with the rude man by email over the next few days but he just accused us of lying and is no longer replying to the emails. I have no idea how someone with this temperament was able to get a job in customer service? We are now in the process of getting the refund through my credit card which is just hassle I don't need. We'll be getting the rest of our panels direct from the manufacturer to avoid Rubberduck in future.

Dear Mr Lomax, I'm fully aware of your complaint but you came to us asking for an agreed refund of six faulty tubes of adhesives and a panel that has had the faulty adhesive applied. We informed you that we had no record of you ever contacting us regarding the faulty adhesives or the agreement to refund you. You also had no email to confirm any previous communication on the refund. We then contacted the manufacturer (Showerwall) and agreement was made to exchange the items you considered to be faulty for inspection. You then informed us that we had told you to dispose of the six adhesives and the large shower board but again nothing in writing just that you had called and been told to do this? After this we told you to avoid confusion all correspondence would be made in writing. You then received written confirmation from Rubberduck that unfortunately as you have thrown away the items you claim to be faulty no refund can be issued. I'm was present during your phone call with Rubberduck and no member of staff was rude to you, but did not tell you what you wanted to hear. This is not being rude, if you had not thrown away the shower board the issue could have been resolved within a few days. Regards Rubberduck Bathrooms

Hi Debbie, I'm sorry that you did not receive your bath waste and another items was delivered by mistake with your bath. I've looked at the notes on your order and if we had know of the urgency a bath waste could have been delivered the next day as we hold hundreds in stock with the wrong item then collected at your convenience.
