I'm not very satisfied with the quality of the bed it rattles and shakes and the white wood has marks and scratches on and the paint is to a poor standard in places. I was going to order my son the same bed but decided against this after we have built my daughter's.

We are so sorry to hear you are unhappy with your Solitaire midsleeper. There should be no movement at all in the bed once it is assembled. If you check the cam locks are clear and secure and tighten all fixings it should no longer move. After an initial problem with delivery dates (.e not receiving any info after purchase on when, how long it would take to arrive) the cabin bed arrived, along with a free gift to compensate for the delay. The bed took my husband 4 hours to build, but he said the instructions were very straightforward and the quality of the bed, excellent! My 4 year old son is just so happy with it, thank you!

Love the bed! Just not white as stated, it?s more a off white creamy colour so it doesn?t match the rest of his furniture unfortunately. & didn?t leave spear screws. But the bed is perfect apart from that , so thank you

Thank you for your feedback.I'm sorry to hear of your disappointment with the colour, we do describe the solitaire range as a satin white and every white is different so it can be tricky. The ordering on line was straight forward but delivery a nightmare. Only deliver Monday to Friday 9-5. Can?t choose a slot. Instead you get allocated a slot the week before and can accept or decline. After weeks of trying to get a slot I could do I have up and had to take half a day off work to get delivery.

I purchased two beds and two mattresses, the quality of which was good. However, the delivery was poor. Despite arranging delivery dates bed one arrived partly delivered 5 days early with the remaining box being delivered two days later. The slates for the mattress to sit on were incorect and the supports not drilled in the correct place. Bed two arrived on its delivery date but with instructions missing. Three days off work in total for delivery was excessive. The actual delivery companies used however were good and helpful.

The website is great, very clear checkout and selection experience. Initial delivery was great and on time. One of the parts was however not machined correctly, service to rectify the problem was prompt, efficient and handled very well. However there seems to be very poor communication between Room to Grow and their delivery firm. I was promised the part would turn up the next day, it didn't and I had no communication during the day. I then called and was told it had been held up due to traffic and was scheduled to be on the first truck the next day. I spoke to Room To Grow 4 times during the specified day to be told it was on its way twice and once I was told that there was no way of checking once it was on the truck?? Consequently at 5pm that day I chased again to be told it had been delivered at 10.45am to an incorrect address and that it couldn't be delivered for another 2 days. Ultimately because I made a fuss it was delivered the next day. I appreciate the incorrect delivery was not the fault of Room To Grow however communication could have been a lot better as I was constantly chasing and if the issues had been captured earlier they could have been better handled. It's a shame as initial great service was then let down by poor process and communication. Product is great now it's all built..

Product not as strong or as solid as I thought it would be however delivery was quick and the delivery men were lovely polite and helpful The bunk beds take up much more space than expected visually. Does look nice enough however

Please be assured that the manufacturer has sold thousands of this particular model all across Europe, and has received excellent reviews. When assembled correctly it meets all European/UK safety testing requirements. Fabulous bed and great customer service BUT the fitters !! They didn't have correct screws on installation date so had to return the following week. Stained a brand new carpet with coffee stains and covered it over with cardboard. Ridiculous

The company didn?t deliver when they said they would. It was annoying because I took time off work to wait in for the delivery

Delivery didn't turn up on the right day as arranged and even then the shelf which was supposed to come with it still hasn't been delivered 2 weeks later.

I had a few issues with delivery and communication from RTG. The girl I dealt with via email (Jennah) was always really helpful and responded quickly but it seemed the different elements of the business weren't working well together. Everything got resolved in the end but it was a lengthy process.

The bed I bought comes in two cartons. One has arrived and the other one hasn't about two weeks after purchase. What am I supposed to do with a bed base but no bed!?

Brilliant service on-line. But on opening and assembling together was very disappointed due to screws being missing. My daughter rang to tell you and was told they would be put in the post first class Friday 17th Feb and would arrive on the Saturday but still not arrived so very upset so my son has no bed all over the weekend.

This wasn?t my first purchase with Room to Grow, I had previously bought a cabin bed for my granddaughter and it was a great success, so much that others had also made purchases of beds once it was seen. I thought it would be great for my grandson but, although the measurements were okay it dominated the room too much. So, as a warning to others, be very mindful of this. It was apparent that we were not the first to have done this as the response when contacting the company was that others then decided to sell it on privately. The bed was partly assembled and because of this we were reimbursed effectively, after collection costs, just £49. The price originally was £199. It was returned well packed in the boxes it arrived> As much as we appreciate that it had been taken out of the box I would be very interested to know what happens to these items that are returned. Hopefully to a charity.

We are sorry the bed did not fit your room. Once you have built the bed we are not able to offer a full refund as we do not sell any second hand beds, hence the suggestion to sell privately as it is a popular model and a great bed. The actual bed was of good quality with helpful instructions to make it. The delivery service was appalling and as it came in several boxes took 2 weeks for all the boxes to be delivered therefore meaning I could not make the bed until it had all been delivered and had to find somewhere to store some of the boxes before the rest came. I was very disappointed with the delivery side of it so recommend a different delivery service.

Management and tracking of the delivery was poor. Was not given options for a delivery date. Given the value and leadtime i dont understanding why this was not the case. Used my landline number for all call even though I had supplied a mobile number. In this smart phone age this could be as lot better.

Poor: I had to chase up communicationof reciepts etc. Delivery charge excessive at £34 (an opinion) Well: contact when there was an emergency to rearrange. Product worht the wait and money.

Delivery excellent. A couple of black caps for the bed slats were missing and wardrobe had a chip of paint missing where it looked as if it had been damaged in manufacturing process.

Easy to order. Lovely product. Delivered in a reasonable timeframe. Only downfall was arrived at 6pm to construct beds so kids unable to go to bed/sleep until after 8.30pm which on a school night wasn't ideal.
