“The service from Room to Grow was very good, they dealt with an issue arising from the payment quickly & efficiently. They also kept me informed with delivery dates/times. The courier company they use though could be much better, late delivery & bad attitude.”

“Delivered within time scheduled. Although it took a few phone calls. Delivery guys took items upstairs for me and removed shoes so I was very happy about that.”

“Lovely mid cabin UNO Stompa bed and very happy with the product. Completely recommend it for any young children and our 3 1/2 year old loves it. Right to grow were easy to deal with and available on the phone when needed. Only small point was the accompanying ?cube? wasn?t with the initial delivery and therefore we had to wait another 2 weeks and hang around at home for another day for the additional delivery. Wasn?t quite clear who was at fault for this either.”

“RTG's pre-purchase customer service was amazing. I spoke to one of their team on the phone twice, who talked me through the modularity of the Solitaire beds very patiently as I tried to understand how I might be able to buy future kits to "build up" in the future and whether to instead buy the full lot up-front and just build the starter for now, storing the other parts for the future. In terms of the product, I have two small negatives that make this a 4 and not 5-star experience/product overall: 1) As per a recent review from another buyer, there are no instructions for installing the side-board. Since having this safely fitted is key for my 2 year old as he makes the transition to his big bed (and any other child I would assume), having to make this part up on the fly yourself, is clearly not ideal. The response from RTG to the other poster said that RTG would "pass [the] comments on to the manufacturer". That doesn't sound to me like they're making this right any time soon; more just passing the buck a bit. In the mean time, why not create and post a pdf version on the RTG website? That would be very easy to do. N.B. Overall it took me a solid 1.5 hours to build this bed alone. For context I would consider myself an experienced amateur furniture assembler having built maybe 20 IKEA and other pieces over the last 15 years. 2) The bed is extremely heavy (I think the packaging said 50 or 60 kilos). Many people might not care about that, but it's worth knowing. It's a well known fact that MDF is heavy so I could (should?) have known based on the product description which did state it was made from MDF Overall, very happy, I am only leaving this constructive feedback to 1) get some a small but essential improvement in terms of assembly instructions and 2) make others aware of the weight.”

Having had a discussion with the manufacturer about this, we have been advised that the assembly instructions to attach the safety rails are in the same box that contains the rails. “We did extensive research for white bunks at a reasonable price with shelving and under bed storage No wider than 120cm that had enough height between bunks so that they would grow with our five year old twins. The Solitaire fitted the bill. They are well designed with no sharp edges and when built are extremely sturdy. The only slight negatives for me are: 1)as others have said they did take a while to build, although I was working methodically. Just open all 3 boxes and use the instructions from the Xtension kit box and you can't go wrong. 2) they were delivered promptly (within 3 days of ordering) but the courier could have been more professional - he turned up in a battered white van, threw the boxes into the house within 2 minutes and sped off for his next drop off. Other than the build time and the courier issue I would still totally recommend these beds. They are very sturdy and everything we were looking for.”

“Good delivery service only it would be helpful to know in the morning if the intended delivery is for the morning or afternoon - our bed arrived in the evening. I did get a call 45 minutes before the delivery, but I had to wait in all day. It was good that logistics/customer services called to check that the proposed delivery day was suitable and I changed it as it wasn't convenient for me.”
