Unfortunately our experience was spoilt by the delivery team that Stompa used.An expensive bed delivered by two delivery men at 7.30 in the morning, (no notification received)dumped the bunk bed in my hall, didn?t ask us where we wanted it placing,rude. The box was damaged & we hadn?t signed for it.My husband struggled with 3 heavy boxes upstairs.The product itself is ok, but you really ought to sort the delivery system out, shameful for such an expensive product

To start with, v poor comms from customer service re delivery. My delivery was rescheduled for the following weds/Thursday but nobody called to follow up for those days & I had to do the chasing. The staff were clueless & followed up with the 3rd party logistics company but could only tell me ?maybe fri or sat?. I therefore had to make myself available from weds through Saturday with such vagueness, which was v stressful when moving house & pulled in all directions. Eventually, it was delivered by a grunting male who clearly didn?t speak English - I asked him politely not to bring shoes in the house as it was wet & muddy but he ignored me 3 times!! BUT, the worst bit is that I had requested an assembly service, but was told they don?t do that and I should find a flat pack assembly co. In my area, so I did just that and even the professional said the flat pack instructions and parts were so much more fiddly & time consuming than any other he had come across in 10+ years of experience so I had to assist him for several hours and it cost £200+ in labour to put together at a reasonable rate of £20/hour - outrageous!!! Shame on you Room To Grow, you need an assembly service at the very least!

Thank you for your comments, we are sorry there was some confusion with the booking in procedure. We do use a third party delivery company and we will take this up with them so we can learn and improve our procedures.Unfortunately we are not able to offer assembly of the Solitaire range currently and it is something we hope to do in the future. Having said that, assembly of the Solitaire mid sleeper, bookcase and chest should only take 3-4 hours and even less for an experienced fitter. The product quality is very poor; the desk was delivered late and to the wrong house (without telling me so I had to chase them) and the chest of drawers is made of such soft timber that the fixing screws won't bite and I now have to go out and buy my own fixings. On top of that it has taken at least 12 hours of work to put this together - there's flat pack and then there's self manufacture. Two people are needed for he bed and ideally Ben of them enjoys carpentry! I would not purchase this product again.

Really disappointed with customer service. Was made to feel silly when I thought I had ordered a desk but then hadn?t. Serious lack of communication with returns. Just passed from Pillar to Post. Really disappointing when spending over £1000 with a company.

Lovely product & very solid but delivery is a complete shambles. Part order arrived Monday & it?s taken numerous calls and 17 emails to get the rest of the delivery rescheduled. Hoping when it arrives today it?s on time & complete

I'm sure the products will be great when they actually arrive, but over a month since ordering and we're yet to install the new high sleeper. Deliveries seem to happen once a week to London. As I'm working full time, I missed offered delivery slots, which were quickly filled by others more able to take daytime calls or to be at home on weekdays to receive deliveries. We'll get there eventually!

Totally disappointed by amateurish delivery service as one bed part out of three delivered was the wrong colour. It took another two weeks of phone calls and emails with the courier to receive the complete order. Replacement part could not be delivered by the same driver collecting the wrong part. So it took a month to receive the whole order as they failed to deliver replacement on the arranged day.

Unfortunately there was a picking issue at the warehouse and we apologise for the time you had to wait for a replacement. We were liaising with Stompa to rectify the issue at the time and we acknowledge the exchange should have been quicker and we are taking steps to ensure this doesn't happen in the future. The product has a few faults, about which I have emailed them, but am still awaiting a response. The mattresses are an unusual size, which means buying sheets is more difficult than it needed to be. It might be a good idea to stock the right size sheets on the website? Delivery of the item required me to chase it up.

Thank you for your comments. I can see from your notes that you are liaising with our customer services team.  Once they have taken advice from the manufacturer then they will call you to discuss. With regard to the bed size, Parisot is a French manufacturer and their beds fit the continental size mattress 90x200cm as detailed on our website. Best Wishes, RTG.

Ordered a bed from this company. all the pictures displayed had underbed storage. However the bed had no storage. had to order a different bed. Waited over a month before receiving an email about delivery and that was only because I kept contacting the company to find out what was going on. I do appreciate the situation we are all living in at present though, but the customer service is shocking. No communication and no good will gesture or receiving our delivery charge back due to the wait and as the furniture was supposed to be delivered to a room of our choice. When the delivery men came they nearly damaged my car by opening their lorry door which they swung open! I contacted delivery company and men had to come back to deliver it to the room. I even showed the men the email stating that was to happen but this was disregarded. Very disappointed with the whole experience. Furniture isn't cheap, however although the bed is sturdy the drawer isn't and is off alignment every time you open it and the chest of drawers feels cheap. I would not recommend this company.
