The service was unbelievably bad. First you managed to deliver the wrong item. Not the children's desk I ordered but some sort of shelving for under a bed. I spent 20 minutes half-building it before realising. I called customer services and you said sorry, you'll deliver the correct item in a week and please can I spend 20 minutes packing up the item. No of course not, I had to wrangle with your team to ask for the privilege of not repackaging your incorrect order. So far so bad. I wait a week and guess what. You fail to deliver the correct item. Apprantely the delivery person came and yet even though I was at home waiting there was not ring on the doorbell and no call on my phone, though you had my mobile. Awful. I rang to complain and you said sorry AGAIN and can I wait ANOTHER week for them to try again. NO. I cancelled the order in bewildered frustration. I would not recommend this website to anybody.

We are very sorry to hear this. It is unfortunate that the wrong item was delivered and we try to rectify these situations as quickly as possible so it is not good to hear you had to wait so long for your replacement. We do state on the website that when returning furniture, it must be disassembled and wrapped in suitable packaging to ensure it does not get damaged in transit. Best wishes, RTG

Looks nice but was horrendous to put together. My partner is a bathroom fitter and he said it was a nightmare even with using his tools!

Not happy with this company, they sent me a bed which was the same as the image on there website but had a different name. When I researched into the bed they had actually sent me I found it alot cheaper elsewhere. Felt decieved and would not buy from them again.

Hi, I am sorry you felt deceived by this, it is not what we intend. We simply change the name of our products for marketing reasons to make them more suitable for our younger target market. Best wishes, RTG

The product was continually delayed, no communication. We ended waiting nearly 3 months for something that was supposed to be in stock. Managed to get exact same item elsewhere and cheaper. No acknowledgment of apology from RTG on this. Very disappointing given we are returning customers

Had I known it would take over 40 working days to deliver the bunk bed (still waiting for an exact date), rather than the advertised 7-15 working days. I wouldn't have ordered it through Room to Grow. May yet still cancel the order.

Very poor supplier management meant that I had to deal with delivery problems -- and room to grow just passed the blame onto their suppliers. Not good enough. I bought the bed from room to grow and expect them to manage their suppliers. And "all they could do was apologise".

We have still to revive delivery of this product despite having ordered and paid for it in January. They offered me two delivery dates on days I work and refused to offer me on the 3 days of the week I never work. Instead I?ve been told I will just have to wait until the next offer and couldn?t guarantee this date to be on one of the 3 weekdays I don?t work. I am not impressed and will be taking this further

Slow, disorganised delivery where the bed and mattress were delivered on separate days although they were supposed to be together and then the mattress delivery driver refused to take it to the room as advertised. Damaged bed part took 2 weeks and constant chasing of disinterested staff to get replaced. I would not purchase from this retailer again.

Thank you for your comments.  As you ordered the mattress separately to your bed, the two items were delivered a day apart. The delivery team did their best to tie up the delivery of your two items to be on our around the same time as your bed.  We are sorry that you had a damaged part and the warehouse despached this to you once it had arrived from the factory.  We do pride ourselves on customer satisfaction and quality of service and we are sorry to hear that we didn't meet your expectations on this occasion. Ordered a child's bed. Had to keep phoning them to chase delivery which was significantly over the estimated delivery date when the bed was ordered. I will no. Use this company in future neithe. would I recommend them

As detailed on your order confirmation email we estimate 10-15 working days (subject to postcode) for delivery only - rarely do they exceed this timescale.  We also confirmed that booking in will be approximately 1 week prior to delivery which we understand was the case. Absolutely awful , I ordered this child bed 5 weeks before I needed it and paid in full and for it to be assembled.It took multiple phone calls to finally arrange a delivery date ( which was the very last day we needed to have it by). I was told that I needed to clear the room in order for them to have space to erect the bed. I did this the evening before. On the morning of delivery we were told they couldn't deliver due to family reasons and they would reschedule . The customer service throughout was terrible , uninterested and uncommunicative. I canceled the order found another supplier with a great quality bed, that was cheaper and they delivered it the next day . One star is too much for this dreadful company

I don't know where to start really but we have found the service from room to grow very poor. We received no updates about our existing order which resulted in me ringing constantly to first be told they didn't have the stock then told they only had part of the bed and could not send the whole bed. When the bed eventually came (after 3 weeks of ordering it) it had no instructions!. All this was bad enough but it was myself who had to ring constantly to get updates on our order. When i expressed my unhappiness about our situation we got offered half of the delivery fee back (£17.50) which i felt was a bit of an insult after all the stress we experienced. We eventually were offered the full delivery fee back but weren't particularly happy after all the disappointment. On a positive note we are pleased with the bed when we got it.

The worst service I have ever received when it comes to any form of furniture shopping. So it's been over ten days and 3 separate delivery days with incorrect timing, lack of communication, packages messing, and manufacturers producing wrong items in the packages. Almost spend 1K on this jubilee midsleeper combination, after mattress and accessories. Save yourself time effort and money and go to IKEA. The courier service ArrowXL failed to deliver the items on two different occasions. In the original delivery there was a box missing and two Left sides on chest of drawers. Contacted customer service and they were not very helpful. They said they would ring me back to chase the order. I never heard anything. I had to keep chasing customer service. The second time ArrowXL were scheduled to deliver from 13::45-15:45 and no news. I contacted customer service again and they advised me that the courier was running late. They said that they would chase call ArrowXL with an updat and get back to me. No contact was made. I realised that they would not be calling me back, that I would have to chase them again myself. Spoke to her different customer service advisor and he reported that the items were signed for at 9 a.m. (which was not true) two different conflicting information received from two different advisors. Finally delivery arrived at 17:10 with only one of two packages. Still waiting for the rest of chest of drawers. Disgusted with the service,

Dealing with the Room To Grow team in the order process was relatively painless. Delivery, however, was a nightmare. Three separate times their fulfillment partners, Jade Logistics, promised to show up (and we stayed home all day to accept delivery). And three times they never showed up, with increasingly bizarre excuses. The final time I even called Room To Grow the day before the scheduled delivery and asked them to make 100% sure that Jade would show up. They confirmed that Jade got the message. And the reason Jade didn't deliver that time: They forgot to put the product in the truck. And that was that. We gave up. Room To Grow was very quick to refund the money, though.

We work closely with Stompa and their delivery team Jade quote estimated delivery times which historically have been achieved without problem. We are also frustrated that your delivery did not arrive when stated and we are taking steps with Stompa to rectify this for deliveries on-going. Delivered fairly promptly, though not much notice given. All the items are good, but all missing bits, screws, dowel etc which makes putting them together a total nightmare.

My experience with this company was very frustrating and time consuming. They delivered the incorrect, less expensive mattress along with my son's bed. They then arranged 3 different times when they were meant to deliver the new mattress and they failed each time. Once because of their own warehouse and other times because of the delivery company. I ended up being forced to keep the cheaper mattress I didn't want as I couldn't take another day off work to sit and wait for them. The quality of the products themselves was good but if you can find them elsewhere or don't have infinite patience, stay away from this company.

Missing parts ! Scratched and damaged, terrible instructions! Very poor quality! So expensive for cheap Formica Avoid !!
