My phone call was answered almost immediately and Lisa could not have been more helpful. She addressed all my queries clearly and was also proactive in making suggestions and in explaining things. So far so good with an as yet exemplary booking process.

Estelle Peachey was just wonderfully she helped find the same river cruise fore 2021 due to my 2020 candled due to covid-19 the price was like for like and no single supplement

when I enquired about this river cruise I said I always stay in red carnation hotels and uniworld river cruises (which I do), when I booked i was asked which hotels I had stayed in and I felt as if she checking I was telling the truth. I have booked with river voyages for years and have never been questioned before. Would you kindly explain why I have to pay the full amount on November 2nd six months before I sail, I have never paid that early before.

Hello thanks for your review, Uniworld need to know the name of the hotel as they email them to apply the discount and there is a minimum stay of four times. Also we require the balance at this point to make sure we get it to the supplier in time. Many thanks.

Very pleased with how they have handled our Danube river cruise through the Covid 19 pandemic having had it rebooked on two occasions.

Excellent, reassuring service by Lyndsey, helping us re-book our cancelled holiday. She responded quickly to all my e-mails and telephone calls. Initially, we obviously had to wait our turn in the pecking order of dealing with cancelled departures, but once that was more calm, we received undivided attention.

River Voyages has not made me happy but Helen Conway has. I have booked a cruise with Helen for next year. This may seem strange especially if you consider the problems I have had this year after my cruise was cancelled. I have sent numerous emails, recorded delivery letters and made several telephone calls so as to have my money returned but with no response. I finally received my money back many months following the cancellation. The only person from Cruise 118 who helped me through this stressful period was Helen Conway. If all your staff were as good as Helen the this would be beneficial to you customers and you as a business.

My Viking cruise was cancelled but Rivervoyages did not let me know and I was only made aware by a third party. I have emailed them on several occasions but have never had the basic courtesy of a reply. I have also telephoned on many occasions but have either been cut off or failed to get a staff member. I fear i will have to resort to legal proceedings to have my money returned

We have been booking holidays through River Voyages for some years now, have enjoyed every one and been highly impressed with the standard of service that everyone in the organisation provides. I was not, however, prepared for the absolutely superb attention that we have recently been accorded by your concierge, Emma Gray, who has gone out of her way, at an extremely busy and difficult time, to ensure that our wishes were met. It was not only the distance she was prepared to go to achieve this but also the kind, friendly and personable manner in which she did it. We are now booked into our preferred cruise for July 2021 and are much looking forward to it. I trust you will bring this testimonial to her attention.

Took ages to get through to them at the moment which is understandable. Said they would phone me back twice but this didn't happen. Shame as everybody seemed helpful on the phone and eventually all sorted.

Before I had booked with Emma Taylor and she was excellent, I have booked this voyage via Concierge Stacey Williams and she too was excellent, even better. Polite, Efficient, Sociable, Knowledgeable, very good advice. Altogether a delightful experience, as I have come to expect from Six Star Cruises / River Voyages Cruise Concierge.

Whilst i know it is difficult times I have not been very happy with my experience in trying to get an exchange on my river cruise that was cancelled. I would have expected this booking to have been trnsferred at the same price to a date next year. Instead I have sent two emails made numerous phone calls and in the end was exasperated so much I decided to ask for a refund. Only then did you come back one hour later offering the same price. I was also told the £100 offered in an email was not applicable nor the cabin credit shown in the brochure as the cruise had already been reduced. Surely if things are written down they should apply. This is my book is false advertising and does not fit well with your image.

I have not been on a River Cruise but I could not find a review page for Cruise 118. We had our cruise cancelled on March 8th but have only received all our money back, 5 months later. During this period of time I have made numerous telephone calls, many emails and recorded delivery letters, many with no response. You may ask therefore why we have booked a cruise again with Cruise 118. This can be answered in two words, HELEN CONWAY. Helen has been helpful and courteous in every way and if other employees undertook their duties as well as Helen then I would have no complaint. Perhaps Helen could be promoted so she could train others on how to deal with customers!

Lyndsey who dealt with our options available after tour was cancelled came up with the suggestion of asking for a price match which was accepted by Emerald. This meant we got the 2021 holiday for the price we were paying in 2020 thus avoiding any price increase. We were happy to re book the tour in a years time.
