My river cruise was amazing-thanks to everybody who looked after me, i.e. the whole crew. I have never been on a holiday so well organised and efficient and luxurious!

Parts of the cruise were really good. But, unfortunately it started quite badly. I was contacted less than a week before to ask for my passport details again. These I had sent in August, but they had somehow got lost in your system. I resent them, but this left a troubling lack of confidence taste in my mouth. I also didn't hear agian from your concierge to apologise of explain where my personal details ended up. So, then we arrive. Aparently we were the only "Cruise only" people on the cruise. It was our first ever river cruise, and have very positive expereicne with Celebrity, so we know what a good welcome can be. We stood in front of a losed door and two women stood in front of us, and waited and didn't open the door. They were our Cruise Director and Concierge. This did not auger well for the cruise. We finally got onboard, and everything related to Scylla was great. The cabin, personel, food, entertainment. However the two women were seriously incompetent-Unprofessional, unprepared, poor reading, very english centric, I could go on. They were just not at a level that i was expecting.

Amazing places we visited. Fantastic boat. Accommodation was first class along with the food and drinks. Every member of staff aboard was the best

Our Cruise was cancelled half way through. River Voyages were not helpful at all and told us they were just the booking agent and any issues were nothing to do with them. but had passed our comments on to APT-Travelmarvel. We can't even find out when the partial refund promised will arrive So far 9 days have passed. ( first promise was 7 days)

Rebeca Rimmer always listens to what you say and what you are expecting from your cruise , The cabin level, and position on the ship, the best time of year to go on different rivers, the best and most convenient flights for you. Also the cruise line that will suite you best as there a lot of different cruise lines out there, but they dock in different places and Rebeca makes sure you will see the places you want and that is where we find it is good to do the same river more than once, but with a different cruise line. But most of all, from making your first enquiry they reply with all the different options, length of cruise, dates, cabins available and different prices so you have all that information so you can then peruse the brochures to help make the right decision for you, because they are agents for multiple cruise lines so have more options for you to choose from, but they are always available at the end of the phone to clarify any points you are not sure about, and that is why since using Rebeca and River Cruises we have always had a perfect cruise.

Totally supportive from start to finish. Were especially helpful as we were on holiday to the USA when booking so it added some minor difficulties which River Cruises sorted out.

We much enjoyed and appreciated hard work undertaken by the Captain and crew in making it a river cruise to remember. The Cruise Director (Mario) ensured that we had all the information needed to appreciate our holiday itinerary from providing details of future activities/events to the organisation of each. As previously noted (By Jacqueline Dugan) there was a need to hospitalise my sister-in-law (Mrs Margaret Dugan on Thursday 31st July which entailed the Captain and Mario to act accordingly to manoeuvre the ship to a suitable jetty. Mario then arranged for an ambulance to transport Margaret and her husband to the nearest hospital. Margaret is still in hospital awaiting medical clearance to travel back to the UK. Mario thereafer, kept in close contact with the hospital and ensured that we were all aware of the latest developments.

Overall left disappointed with many specific examples of things that were not as expected having paid for an expensive cruise. 1. We were docked on two separate occasions up against another river cruise. Meaning we had to have the curtains closed for the full two days stay. 2. Lack of tables for two at meal times. Only one table on an evening and two tables at lunchtime. Apparently the reason given for removing one table on an evening was to make room for a party of 10 people. 3. Stomping of foot steps above our suite during the night. I guess this was crew moving to and from their smoking area. 4. On board credit promised at the time of paying which was 6 months in advance of this cruise did not materialise when we joined the cruise. Numerous emails to and from with Uni world made little progress. Eventually credited to my account on Thursday (day 5!). 5. Lack of on board music or entertainment. Why have a piano taking up all that room and not used. 6. Lack of information via an App.

What a memorable holiday. This Voyage was so wonderful from the moment I arrived the staff we warm and welcoming. Food and facilities excellent - a feeling of being a VIP. Good entertainment and excursions excellent. I did the Prague extention- a stunning city and a lovely Art Deco hotel, great way to finish the holiday. I will look to book for another River Cruise. The only downside was the single supplement, making the trip pretty expensive. However I can't fault the holiday itself.

The AmaWaterways cruise booked via River Voyages was fabulous. Brilliant organisation start to finish and I am grateful to River Voyages for the recommendation and arranging it. The major disappointment was that so many other passengers on board were talking about the amazing value for money they had received and had paid about half the amount that I paid as a solo traveller. Appreciate single supplements but my total cost was around £5,500 for 1 week and other passengers had paid under £4,000 for two people!!
