Everything! Charged an oap 300+ for 15 mins work unlocking a drain.. are you serious?? Absolutely disgusting. Cowboys!

If I could leave no stars I would my boiler had a miss firing pilot light reported on the 27/10 an engineer was supposed to come on the 30/10 noshow another engineer arrived on the 31/10 fixed the problem we thought. A few days later and it’s gone wrong again the fuse had blown couldn’t find cause fitted new fuse went an hour later another guy came out the next day changed fuse again said something else was needed left said would be back next day after at least 50 calls 9 turnouts and 3 missed appointments still no working boiler today is the 2/12 I’ve had no hot water for over 3 weeks no heating on and off for over 5 I’m disabled and very angry at the lack of response from the management they never return calls as promised I’ve cancelled doctors appointments an evening out and lastly cut my break short as they were due to come out and they never showed not even an apology now seeking legal advice.

Engineer didn't really know what he was doing on this job, spent 20 minutes saying my filter was broken when the only problem was the protection caps were not removed (in manual) then removed a non return valve as he didn't know what was (states do not remove in bold in the manual) told me it was a very odd fitting to connect piping to water supply (it was just a standard washing machine/dishwasher tap) then proceeded to state the job is very complicated and will have to have a second call out as it will take a few hours- I ended up cancelling this and fitting it all myself in under 90 minutes and at £99 per hour a fraction of the cost, called up to cancel the job and explain why and the operator didn't seem interested in the slightest- all in all an expensive bad decision, think I will stick to friendly local plumbers than through a company from now onwards

Engineer attended and payment was taken. Within 4 hours the Combi Boiler had lost all pressure again so no heating or hot water. Return appointment booked for 2 days later but Engineer failed to show. Chased all day with call-centre who promised Engineer was on route, promised to call me back but never did, right up to 17:30pm when they finally confirmed Engineer would be there in 3 days time. Wasted money (£130), wasted 1.5 days holiday from work, and 1 week later still without heating or hot water (family home with small children). Refund requested & will look elsewhere.

Poor service and very expensive. Would not recommend or use again. We wanted a Landlord's gas certificate for a property that is rented. The engineer arrived and left a note about a gas fire that isn't used and turned the gas off. Our tenant who is wheel chair bound was left without heating or hot water. The weather is freezing it's November 30th!! We phoned numerous times to contact the engineer to ask about the gas boiler, but all in vain. The company shouldn't be allowed to operate. We're now in a panic, we're trying to find a solution! Very poor and extremely expensive. One to avoid.

A very expensive service with a poor quality outcome. They also left used pieces aside. I will not employ them again.

Did not come on day arranged between 9 - 5pm, no communication as to reason why, I rang them, agreed to rearrange visit for following day between 9-12 received call at 2pm to say they couldn't do and could not give me a guarantee that they would come the following day, a waste of my time.

The only time they turned up for an appointment they were an hour late. They charged £150 to replace four batteries in a thermostat on the basis that they would return and replace the thermostat if changing the batteries did not solve the problem. It didn't. They failed to turn up on the three occasions that were subsequently arranged. We have now given them up. Three main criticisms: - first, they are hopelessly unreliable; - secondly, on the limited evidence of the only occasion an engineer showed up, their technical ability was insufficient - third they told lies in the assertions and promises they made in telephone dealings.

Unable to diagnose central heating problem. Continually recommended work and replacement of parts when the previous recommendation do not fix the problem. Charged over £1,000 for work which left the central heating systems operating less efficiently. No accountability for their work and charged for jobs even after the problem was not fixed. Had to get a different plumber to sort the problem out. He concluded that 1) it does not take 3 hours to fit a new pump in a bolier; and 2) power flush was completed incorrectly.

Paid £130 to tell me my boiler had broken and then mever came back to give me a quote on a new one. Had no heating for week. Rung 3 times for a quote and have had no one call me back.

I called and booked a plumber for Thursday. None turned up and there was no communication to indicate this. I called at 1pm having sat in my house for 4 hours at which point (having stated that friday would be difficult and that i could do thursday afternoonas i had already cleared my day for this) I was told that they would try to get one to come that afternoon and would call me back if they achieved this. No-one called me back and at 2:30pm I called and was told that my noted indicate that I had refused to accept that next availability was Friday, but no comment about anyone try to find someone for thursday. I was then told that thursday afternoon was impossible. I advised them that first thing friday morning was possible but that i had to leave the house at 11am. I was very clear about this and the woman on the phone advised me that they had checked and that a reliable plumber was going to come out first thing around 9am. I therefore rearranged my life so that i was free to be at home 9-11. At 9:40am today no-one had arrived and a lovely man on the phone said he was already chasing this without success so far (this gave me confidence in your company at least) he said he would continue to try and would call me back. He did this at 9:52 and stated that someone would be with me within the next hour i.e. by 10:52…. giving them at least 8 minutes to fix my shower. He was surprised when I said that I 100% had to leave by 11am (a fact I had been very clear about from the start). I asked whether, if he turned up with 8 minutes to fix the problem and therefore he was unable to do this in the time allotted, I would have to pay £84 for the “hour.” The answer was yes as the job would be started. You therefore left me with no option but to cancel the job and my long term policy. I cannot state how unhappy I have been with the service (or lack thereof) you have provided me. Please take this feedback to try to improve the service for future customers so you don’t waste their time like you did mine.

They were booked but didn’t turn up. I had to phone to find out the problem and was told that due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’ they couldn’t attend. I feel totally let down. I will never use them again. It’s a lame excuse.

We phoned am to say we had a leaking radiator. Were told they were very busy but would call between 3 and 6pm. We phoned as the engineer hadn't arrived between those times and were told someone would be with us by 7pm. We had a phone call around 6.45 to say an engineer would be with us within the next half an hour. Nobody arrived! We had to phone another plumber as we had turned our heating off. We have now phoned your Company three times for different things and twice the engineer hasn't arrived - needless to say we won't be phoning you again.

Made an appointment - electrician to arrive in 30-40 min. Told my tenant to go home and wait for them to arrive. Did not show up, called me NEXT DAY and said "we can't get anyone there until next week". Unprofessional!

Job reference 5840532. A washer was not fitted resulting in the cold water tank flooding the loft and causing water damage in the room below. I have made a claim with my insurer but not had the courtesy of anyone in your customer care team even acknowledging e-mails. How can you say you care about customers when you have no means of enabling customers to ring you when something goes badly wrong? E-mail with a response time of between 7 to 14 days is not good enough. Not that I've had a response and the incident resulted from one of your plumbers poor work on 25 October.

Initially service was good. An engineer came out quickly assessed the problem with my boiler and said that they would order the part and return to fit it. I spent the next day trying to find out when this would be through the call centre and was consistently advised that the plumber was on a job and I would be called back later. The forth time I called I was advised that the engineer was not working that day, so there was obviously no chance that he would be returning, but they would chase it up and call me at 8am the next day to arrange the repair. Day 3 - no call so spent another 20 minutes listening to Enya before speaking to another advisor who initially tried to fob me off with an imminent call back, but did speak to the engineer who said there was no chance he would be out today. Still waiting for a date. Very inconvenient, zero customer service.

On 5th August 2017 I asked for a plumber to fit a new immersion heater. Rightio sent a plumber with a job sheet for a leaking hot water tank. The plumber then had to leave my premises to buy what I said was needed in the first place. During the plumbers absence the hot water tank over flowed through the immersion heater hole he had left open and flooded the property. I supplied three quotes for redecoration as requested. Rightio sent the same plumber back twice, once to paint over the damage, which would have been entirely inadequate and a second time to rephotograph and report back to Rightio on the damage. Rightio promised to resolve the issue by Friday 3rd November. It is now Wednesday 15th November. Rightio have not resolved the issue and clearly are not taking my calls as I have tried to call on several occasions but they appear to recognise my home phone number and the phone goes unanswered. My advice to anyone considering using Rightio is dont, they are expensive and, from my experience, treat customers extremely badly. I now have water damaged walls and unless I take legal action against Rightio I will have to stand the cost of rectifying the damage myself. Do not trust them, I will never do any business of any type with them in the future and recommend that you do not either. Eugene Futcher
