Hi Shane, We do send an email that should have given you a variety of different quotes from different firms. You will only have received calls from up to 4 companies who you received quotes for, but we understand that receiving multiple phone calls can be frustrating. “Apparently, my phone details were shared without my consent and received spam phone calls on a Sunday”

“Not good enough! 2 results!? A simple google search & my first call to that search beat your cheapest quote by £1000 (thats 35% cheaper) & all done quicker than signing up & waiting for return emails. So in a nutshell you done me no favours whatsoever other than waste valuable time, & near loose me money apposed to saving it!?”

“Inputted loads of details for quotes. They don't tell you on the website, you have to sign up first, then I got one "quote" emailed but it was just contact details for a company and no quote.”

“Bit rubbish. I was only sent one recommendation for a conveyancer as far as I could see. The one that was sent had really bad reviews so I couldn’t use them for a quote. Couldn’t see how to contact Reallymoving either. Bit disappointed really”

Usually our customers find this speeds up the process of finding a company they want to work with. “After completing the questions, I was given lots of very good quotes. However, when contacted by each company and answering the same questions, my quotes doubled in price. Therefore, this seemed a complete waste of my time. My quotes were in the region of £600-£700 for a 3 bed house. But, you speak to these companies and explain what you have in your house (which in our case was minimal as we do not have a coffee table and not taking any white goods) and the quote then turns into £1500. All of the companies quoted are the dearest quotes we've received and yet started off as the lowest. One guy even asked if we had a garden hose.....seriously!”

Hi there, If the price changed with multiple companies, it suggests there was a key factor that all of them identified that impacted the price. Quotes can be impacted by contents, accessibility to the property, extra services required etc. We will look into this further if you believe that none of these elements apply to the price increase.
