“Pure Cremations phoned to ask a few questions after my Mum's cousin died. I was executor, so it was notification that he had died too. They were not so easy to contact, their lines were busy and then my 'Call Guardian' was blocking their return call. However, they dealt with everything as per his wishes and took mine into consideration too, and email was useful. It was a 'no show' cremation but it would have been too far to travel to their crematoriums if it was a full service. My uncle's watch turned up safely in the post yesterday. All in all, they made it easy to deal with a distant and unpopular relative.”

“This was the second time I have used Pure Cremation Ltd. The first time was several years ago when my sister died. I was very satisfied with the way things were handled so I knew I would be contacting Pure Cremation for my husband as we had discussed it a while ago. When my sister's ashes were delivered to me the gentleman was not wearing any kind of uniform and was very low key but when my husband's ashes were brought to me last week the ladies (there were two as one was being trained) were very polite but I did not like the fact that they were in black uniforms with a very noticable PURE CREMATION in bright pink logo. I did not appreciate the fact that the logo was clearly visible to neighbours and I felt that I was being used for advertising purposes. I believe that receiving the ashes of a loved one should be a very private matter and not something that I wanted neighbours to see and I would have appreciated a more discrete delivery. I realise that things have changed since my sister died and now there is a lot of competition for you but I really felt that your employees were advertising for the company at a very distressing time. I hope you can understand my point of view.”

“My dad set up a pure cremation funeral plan before his death and i was the appointed person i have to say we could not have been happier with all the contact we have had with everyone at pure you have been both sympathetic and utterly professional me and my family would like to thank you”

“I’m very happy with the service I received throughout the process. It was easy and straightforward and it took a lot of stress from me and my family during a tough time. Michelle was excellent, showing patience and understanding and keeping me updated at every stage. The delivery of the ashes was personal, professional and comforting, knowing my loved one was in safe hands. I didn’t know what to expect as I have never had to go through this before but everything was perfect and I would highly recommend your service to anyone going through bereavement. “I cannot thank them enough for all they did , they were kind, professional and very accommodating I would definitely recommend them to anyone that I knew . The lady I dealt with, Lisa Tipton was so kind to me at a time I was feeling seriously lost , I'll never forget her kindness. The lady that brought the ashes back was also really lovely , as was anyone I dealt with . Thank you pure cremation you made a very difficult time much easier .”

“I have mixed feelings about the whole thing if I’m honest. The actual cremation and dealing with ashes etc was done efficiently. But the communication I felt was lacking and at times it felt very transactional and not like how the usual compassionate way a funeral director would deal with family members. We had insurance in place which was confirmed yet we still recieved several calls chasing for us to make payments before cremation could be booked. This was my first family member in which I had no funeral and I found it hard and a little more compassion shown would have helped during a tough time.”

“Very happy with the company they were kind respectful and kept in regular contact from collecting my dad to delivering his ashes to My home , however I would have been extremely grateful if you could have been able to liaise with the crematorium and been able to give me a time for dads cremation”

“Amazing they helped and kept me updated on everything in my difficult time with losing my dad, very fast collection and lots of respect both in collecting and dropping my dad back off to me, the urn is beautiful. Would highly recommend ,im going to do the same for myself.”

“No regrets! My father left strict instructions that this is what he wanted and the process was SO kindly and smoothly organised by Michelle Lawson. At this grim time when you're talking to so many organisations the ones who get it absoultely right really stand out (and so do the ones who don't!!) and Michelle got it absolutely right. The perfect combination of efficiency and also human kindness - it shouldn't be rare but sadly it is. We are having a big celebration of his life in a few months time when people have time to prepare. Very pleased we did this and am changing my will to ask for the same!”
