“You get a quote from them and then they 'hound' you by text, email and phone calls!”

“I booked a funeral on the 20/2/25 for myself and two members of my family. I spoke to Kelly and she was very professional and very helpful and helped us to sort the plans out. It was very easy to do and now we can get on with our lives knowing that it is all sorted out for each of us when the time comes”

“Hi this is the second time in as little as 2 years my mum sadly passed last month and again Pure Cremation were superb. From start to finish in the process they called me and talked me through everything!!”

“I was very happy the way everything was handled. You kept me updated throughout. Good value for money if that’s the way you want to have your cremation. The lady who delivered the ashes was very friendly and makes you feel at ease. Thank you”

“During the initial phone call to Pure Cremation they had a nothing is too much trouble attitude. They were helpful and attentive and very quick indeed to send their invoice straight after the booking. I wrote down everything they told me contemporaneously. Firstly they assured us that we could have my late fathers informal name on the urn. When I double checked this after payment they said that was not possible and had to be his formal name. Once I was given a committal date I was then told that I would be informed once the committal had taken place. This did not happen and when queried I was told this is not something they do. When finally given a date for the ashes to be returned I was told that I would be contacted the day before with an AM or PM time slot. Again this did not happen and I had to contact them. They said as it was a Sunday the department that deals with emailing delivery dates was closed. I insisted they contact someone senior regardless of it being a Sunday and to call me back the same day which they promptly did. I have since learned that although they used to email an AM or PM time slot that management have now stopped that useful process of advising the grieving families of the return time slot of their loved ones ashes. So, initially impressed but that diminished slowly over the forthcoming weeks. They need to pay more attention to detail at such a difficult time for families.”

“I have been very pleased with the service I received from Pure Cremation, from the initial telephone call, to the return of my mother's ashes. The people at Pure Cremation with whom I have dealt on the telephone, have always shown compassion and understanding, and have interacted with me in a kind and sympathetic way, making me feel at ease, and that my mother was being cared for. When the ashes were returned I was telephoned twice that morning, to keep me updated regarding the progress of the journey. My loved one was looked after and returned to me in a dignified way. Thank you to all involved.”

We have carefully selected the ashes container for its strength and eco-friendly features, along with a design that allows for easy scattering of ashes and includes our unique ceramic identity disc. The material used for our urns is biodegradable, enabling the urn to be interred in the ground. Families are welcome to provide an alternative urn, and we will gladly transfer the ashes into their chosen container before returning it. We value your feedback and will work on making this clearer for families, ensuring they know exactly what to expect. “Professional from start to finish. All the staff we spoke to were kind, sympathetic, and helpful, and we would have no qualms in recommending Pure Cremation. “When we knew my husbands cancer was terminal he wanted to use Pure Cremation, no fuss, no organising for me todo after his death. The whole team, from first contact to the return of my husband's ashes was respectful, sympathetic and understanding. They lived up to both their advertising and their written contract. The undertakers who collected his body were respectful and made sure I understood what would happen. The return of the ashes was very respectful too. Very impressed with Pure Cremation. Met all our expectations.”

“It was so straight forward to arrange after the shock of losing my mohter. It was her wish to have a Pure Cremation and this was made clear to all of us when she saw the adverts on the TV. Everyone was so understanding, respectful and helpful. The updates and communication was excellent even during such a busy time of year, not helped by seasonal illness that hit us all and the Christmas period. It has helped me make the decision to go with Pure Cremation when the time comes.”
