“My mum wanted pure cremation and it went ok, took a while to pick my mum up from hospital. Pure cremation kept me updated with phone calls etc, only thing they couldn't tell me the time my mum was cremated. It's what my mum wanted but you can't say goodbye properly really.”

At the time of need, we always ask the chosen representative if they wish to be informed of the cremation date. However, we cannot confirm the time of the cremation as too many variants can occur and we feel this would be unfair to confirm if we cannot guarantee it. Kind regards, Mia

“I can't thank all of you enough for your professionalism and care of my Mum. You have made the whole procedure so stress free, it was the definitely the right choice to go with a Pure Cremation. From start to the end when a lovely lady delivered Mum safely home to us. I have arranged this for myself and when the time comes I know my family will have no worries at all.”

“From my first contact with them to the delivery of Dad’s ashes, everyone was amazing !!! They took care of everything, keeping in regular contact and took all the stress and anxiety away. Thank you !!!”

“My mum recently passed and we used pure cremation,I'm glad we did they were so helpful and kept in contact all the way through the process,I can't thank them enough, especially the carer Stephanie,she was very professional,caring and was there for me every step ,I would recommend pure cremation to any one who doesn't want a traditional funeral and all the stress.i would like to thank you all again for taking care of my mum ,all the best to all of you .Mr lewis”

“Arrangements and overall service very good. However due to third party administration issues a claim for payment was waived but pure cremation declined to issue a refund to us which I found disappointing.”

Dear David, Thank you for your positive feedback. In relation to the administration error made by the doctor who completed the legal cremation paperwork, although the doctor chose to waive their fee, the plan that was taken out was an all-inclusive plan covering any scenario so no monies would be refunded due to this. The idea is that this provides peace of mind that, whatever the circumstances, the plan covers any third-party fees or disbursements that may be associated with the cremation of a loved one. “I would like to thank Pure Cremation for the excellent service they offered during my recent family bereavement. The sensitivity displayed from my initial call to say we had lost a family member right through to the handing back of the ashes was exemplary and I cannot thank them enough. “Such nice people at Pure Cremation, I couldn't rate them more highly. I was kept informed of every step. If there was something I wasn't sure of there was someone on the other end of the phone to help me out. This has honestly been the worst time for me and Pure Cremation took all the stress away of sorting out the details. Thankyou all, everyone has been so kind.”

“Very good service from first point of contact. All staff very polite, respectful and understanding of the circumstances. The only downside was the delivery of ashes. Unfortunately due to our government feeling that ladies have to work beyond 60 years of age. I am still working part time and requested a Tuesday delivery.. 15/11 had to be cancelled as operatives on compulsory training, offered a Friday 21/11.. my sister agreed to take delivery, unfortunately that had to be cancelled day before as operative had an acciden. Then given 30/11 which was a Wednesday, felt that no effort was being made to find a Tuesday, luckily I had booked this week off work and was at home that Wednesday. The delivery man rang me as I had been told he would and gave an estimated arrival time. He was very pleasant and polite. I have also paid for my funeral with Pure Cremation since dad passed. I just hope delivery of my ashes goes smoother.”

I’m sorry that our returning of the ashes to you was problematic. At Pure Cremation we hand deliver all ashes back to families. Training our colleagues on a regular basis is important for us to ensure our service standards remain at the highest level, but this should have been factored in before we committed to the date for the return. We do try to arrange dates for return that fit with our families wherever possible but it can be challenging when events out of our control happen. “I thought the service was excellent and very attentive from my contact Stephanie, it felt personal and was easy to arrange. I would say that the choice of Urn (lack of) was a shame as the standard one you supply whilst I understand is bio degradable looked like a cereal container. ( not a fault of Stephanie’s at all) just my view for your feedback. I would have been happy to have had a choice of something more traditional and paid more for the option.”

We have carefully chosen the ashes container for strength and green credentials, as well as a design that can accommodate our unique ceramic identity disc. Every family has the option to send an alternative urn and we are happy to place the ashes in their chosen container prior to return. We will ensure that this is made clear during our communications. “Cannot fault any aspect of the service provided by Pure Cremation. If I had any criticism it would be that pre arranged calls were not made on the day and time. Also stumbling over the deceaseds name on the phone shows a lack of preparedness and professionalism and is not particularly nice for the NOK to hear.”

“I was informed from when your took dad from the hospital until he was cremated, everyone was so lovely. The lady that brought dads ashes to my home was outstanding very caring. Thank for all you did for my dad. I had his urn ready for him.”

“Staff were lovely and helpful, so kind. Informed at every stage. However I thought the process took too long, 3 weeks from ours mum passing to the cremation and 10 days to get her back”

Thank you for these kind comments about our caring team. We aim to return ashes within 21 days from the cremation itself, this is stated in our literature and our website. However, if there are additional factors such as coroners involvement, or delays in paperwork this date could be later. Kind regards, Mia
