“Wouldn't hesitate to recommend using Pure Cremation, they kept us informed throughout the whole process and were very supportive. Not only did they care for my lovely husband but they always asked me if I was ok and did I need any support or someone to talk to.”

“Very understanding and helpful on the phone, talked through everything and wasn’t rushed. Kept me updated with what was happening throughout the process. We had used Pure Cremation for my Dad a few months before and had no hesitation in using them for my husband. Would highly recommend them.”

“I used pure cremation for my mum. It was a simple and easy process, they picked my mum up straight from the hospital. She was cremated once the paperwork was completed. They brought my mum back to my home, this helped alleviate the stress and anguish of losing my lovely mum. I could not recommend them enough. They also answered any questions when I did not understand the process. Kingsley was amazing and kept in touch throughout the process. The person who delivered my mums ashes was incredibly supportive and even hugged me when I become emotional. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much pure cremation! “Excellent service from start to finish. I liked how I was allocated one person who spoke to me at every step in the process. Michaela was compassionate and caring, all be it on the telephone. I would like to thank her for making a heart breaking time in my life bearable. My only one criticism is the urns in which you return our loved ones are not very nice , remind me of a Tupperware cereal box and I think you should look into changing them! The gentleman who returned my dads ashes to my mum was also very kind and compassionate and made sure she was ok before he left her. I will definitely be recommending your service.”

In relation to the urns in which loved one’s ashes are returned, we have carefully chosen the ashes container for strength and green credentials, and the image wrap used is usually selected dependant on availability at the time. I’m sorry you felt this was not the best fit for your loved one, every family has the option to send an alternative urn and we are happy to place the ashes in their chosen container prior to return. “Funerals have become so much easier, quicker and cheaper with Pure Cremations. For my mother and sister, Pure Cremations gave us a quick and private service, with love and care. The ashes were then delivered to my home. One was buried in her garden, one scattered in Loch Lomond. But most importantly this system enabled us to take a breath, grieve and plan a Life Celebration Party at our leisure. Affording us really meaningful farewells with colour and fizz rather than a conveyor belt approach of mourners in black. Not our thing at all! Thank you to all at Pure. You have come up trumps in our hour of need and thank you whole heartedly. Christine and Lesley”

“What a lovely experience. I wanted dad to have a funeral like my mum had but dad insisted on a pure cremation. I had reservations and was thinking the worse but I was totally wrong . From the start they were so helpful. Dads gp wasn't as quick as we'd hoped with information but pure cremation dealt with all that so I didn't have to. Staff were always so friendly compassionate and kind. Never used the words death it was always "his journey" I was able to dress dad in clothes I wanted which I didn't think I could. I could even have photos and some small possessions with him. I was informed of the date of his commital so it meant we could do something that day to feel part of "his journey" his ashes were returned to me in the most beautiful box with another friendly Compasionate member of staff. Not once have I felt dad missed out. I would highly recommend pure cremation. .”

“We recently used Pure Cremation for my Father, as he did not want the formality of a church service. Pure Cremation was very dignified in my initial contact with them and swiftly assisted in filling out the appropriate paperwork to start the process rolling. I did find the misspelling of my middle name rather annoying and I had to correct this a few times. I also found the fact the selection of the urns the ashes were returned in, to not really, be the most appropriate design that suited my Father. Also, the fact from the 3 designs that were offered you were not to able select with the assurance that the design chosen was the one you would receive. The ashes did come back in the one I did select, but again I think this is a very personal part of the process, especially for the loved ones receiving the ashes. Also although we were supposed to have a designated person, overseeing the process. I found at times Julia Bryan to be not the most empathetic person and it was also like I was a formality, as at times I had to chase things and received an email detailing things I should have been told in person over the phone. I think with bereavement, every small detail needs to be right and tailored to each family's needs and wishes. Service was not bad, but could have been better!”
