“We previously used PC for our dad. The process and outcome was very poor, not at all what we expected. We complained and the complaint was upheld and they shared the changes they were making to save other families having a similar experience. We have just used them for our mum and the process and outcome from start to finish was exemplary. They have obviously taken account of what they needed to do and we are very happy with how they handled mum’s case.”

“My mother died at home and when we rang pure cremations to come and pick mum up we waited 6 hours as they told us they do not live near to us . When they arrived I was horrified that they put her in the black bag in front of us that was very upsetting indeed . When she came back to us it was in a cupboard box and they did not stop to have a chat and a cup of tea like the advert says .all very upsetting to be honest”

“Pure cremation assisted me with everything from start to finish I didn't have to do a single thing which at the time I was so upset I couldn't think straight for myself I will be forever grateful for the bereavement team taking all the worry off my shoulders. I would highly recommend them”

“I was disappointing we were unable to see my husband and my step son was unable to see his father because renovations were being done. We had a very disappointing experience. I will not be recommending”

“Following the death of a parent they arranged the collection of the body, carried out the cremation and returned the ashes in a tasteful container. They also returned the wedding ban. The whoe process was done in a sensitive way. Wouldn't have thought to use them, but both parents had dementia and seemed wrong to have an attended funeral when the surviving parent couldn't attend.”

“Big mistake, should have read some of the many poor reviews you've got. There's no way I would tell anyone to go with your lot. I was so stressed all the way through, not good. Perhaps instead of sending me one of your replies ( which are all virtually the same) you should give me my money back. I didn't realise that most funeral directors do just a cremation and similar in price, plus probably on your doorstep.”

“I felt that I was misinformed about the length of time it would take to have my daughter's ashes returned to me. When talking to PC I felt they were often evasive when asked about timescales. Other than that they performed ok”

“Pure Cremation were efficient throughout the whole process. Kept me fully informed, caring and considerate staff. My only very slight concern was they took a long time to answer the phone but they do respond if you request a call back. If you don’t want a funeral, this is very seamless process. I would recommend Pure Cremation.”

“Pure Cremation caried out ther services which were requested by my friend who wanted to plan in advance of her failing health . They performed each step of her journey extremely professionally with personal touches. Each step was explained to me at the beginning and again as the difffering stages approached . I was made to feel comfortable about asking any questions....nothing was too much trouble. In due course my friends ashes were returned in person by a lovely lady who understood ,she exuded courtesy and compassion as did ALLthe staff . I cant thank them enough for making a daunting task easier. Going forward I will be booking my own plan with Pure cremation .”

“From our first phone call to the returning to me John's Ashes everyone as been polite, caring and understanding of our feelings. Pure Cremations were true to their adverts. I was so pleased how the two gentlemen who collected John were so respectful. They left John's bed so tidy and placed one of our family photos against his pillow. While one of the gentleman came to tell me they were ready to go, the other one was standing at the back of the ambulance with his hands together waiting. I thought that so touching and I knew John was in safe hands and going to taken care of. I have one concern, no one mentioned that you don't dress the deceased.”
