“I ordered some adhesive on a Tuesday and opted for the 1-3 day delivery. I called the office on Friday as I hadn’t had a dispatch notification or heard from the company, I was told that the product was out of stock and wouldn’t be in stock until the following week. I had not been notified that the product was out of stock. I needed the adhesive for that weekend to install a floor and had to drive an hour each way to acquire some from a retailer that had it on the shelf. Not only did this cost me fuel and my time, but I had to pay more for the adhesive.
A simple phone call or e-mail upon ordering to notify me that I would not receive my delivery within the agreed time would have given me enough time to source the product elsewhere.”
