Hello Guy, Thank you for notifying us that you did not receive your order. We attempted to call you to discuss this issue but unfortunately were unable to reach you. On investigation we found that DPD attempted to deliver your parcel on multiple occasions but there was no one available to accept it. To prevent any further issues the order was then returned to us and a full refund was processed to your original payment method. Service was very good, delivery was exactly as they said. However, I only went to Powertool World because they are on Top Cashback - however, they never paid the cashback that was due.

I had quite a few problems with the website. I tried signing up so it would make it easier when placing more orders and you also accrue points which gives you a discount off your next purchase. However, every time I tried to log in, it wouldn’t work. I have placed a couple of orders with these guys, but not been able to use the discount points I had accrued. It should be noted… I did contact them and they said it must be a problem at my end as they couldn’t find my account details………?

Generally good, Prices are very low, quick free delivery. Reason i dont give 5 starts as its seams my tool might have been used before and its not come in original package. Tried to submit an enquiry/complain to speak with someone but no one came back to me.

My order was supposed to be delivered within 3 days but after no contact at all from Powerworld I had to send them an email to find out what had happened to my order. Only then was I told it hadn't even been picked. I got it after 6 days.

Only reason for the low rating is the box had to be taped up by the courier as it had fallen apart in transit. Poor packing. Luckily nothing damaged.

I have used Power Tool World a few times now. The products I've purchased have been at good prices and arrived quickly. When I receive my last purchase, a Makita chain saw, it appeared from damage to the box that the product may not be new. Inspecting the saw, I could see no evidence of previous use, however it had been supplied with a substitute Oregon chain, rather than an original Makita chain. This suggested to me that perhaps the saw had been a return. This may explain how Power Tool World were able to offer a more competitive price than other suppliers? The saw works fine and I am happy with my purchase. If it is a return, I would have liked to have known at the time of purchase that this was what I was buying.

Poor delivery options, upgraded to Sunday delivery and then courier failed to deliver so had to wait a further week for the next weekend delivery. Option to deliver to a local collection point would be good

I bought a jigsaw on offer with a set of blades. The company were doing a 10% off promotion at the the time but I forgot to add the code. As soon as I realised (in minutes) I sent them an email asking if the discount could be applied but never heard anything. When the saw arrived there were no blades in the package. Again I sent an email and bought some blades from Screwfix. When I opened the sealed box containing the saw I found the blades that I'd ordered so now I have a few spare blades; I told the company I'd found the blades. I got a response but I'm not sure if this was just a "hey, there's no problem, we can answer him" sort of one. Overall, I got a jigsaw and some blades but it could've been cheaper and a lot less hassle.

I ordered a Fien Diamond Cutter which arrived on time and I'm sure as descibed however, the item was a smaller diameter than I was expecting. My point is the on line listing didn't make it clear to me that there were two options regarding the diameter of this cutter and that this was the smaller version.

Rated very good for odreing process but let down by their delivery company. 2 confirmed delivery slots were missed. The Hedge cutter has not ben used yet so unable to comment. Would have been 4 or 5* if delivered on confirmed delivery date.
