Had to wait for nearly two weeks for item due to warehousing issues then delivery was delayed by dhl.

slow to dispatch. Took 5 working days to dispatch and delivered next day DHL. Much longer than stated on website.

Trouble with warehouse delayed delivery. Then delivery lost by courier and had to fill out a form to get the items sent out again.

Our order status suddenly changed and showed pending from their system! Then no show on original delivery day, we did get an email to apologise and explain they were doing some reorganising the company - I chased and eventually got a reply to say that they were not able to give me a delivery date now - I chased following day with the same answer this time an offer to refund but I needed the equipment I had ordered and paid for - so the following day we chased again - same answer! So I asked for contact with owners or managers and told they wouldn't be able to help. I had no option than to wait. In the mean time I as bombarded with sales emails offering me all sorts of deals - REALLY ! My goods arrived 5 days late ! My biggest fear (due to lack of any timeframe or dateline) was that the company was in dire financial trouble and unable to fulfil my order, hence my persistence. which was only met with fob off emails I was very relieved to see the delivery of my order and hope that they can learn lessons from this ? I am very surprised that they don't seem to have planned outage at all which may have a significant effect on customers There has been no offer of compensation for my troubles !

I did order a tool with extra paid next day delivery. After 3 days of waiting i didn't even get parcel tracking number. I had to call them to find out, that my order is still at their warehouse

Took over a week to arrive. I was told the builders had turned up to refurbish your building and orders were not going out on time. Not told at the point of placing an order that delivery would be well over the 2/3 days normally taken. Helpfully ladies on the phone did track my order down after several phone calls.

The packaging was poor - plastic/polythene stuck up with lots of plastic tape. Enviromnentally unfriedly and difficult to unwrap and dispose of. THe dlievery notifications said I had to be home for delivery as it needed a signature so I took half a day off work. Howeever, the PTW courier simply left int in my porch, coulfnt even be bothered ringing the doorbell. Overall very disappointing.

Hello, I have ordered a Milwaukee M18 FUEL FJS-0 18v Cordless Brushless Top Handle Jigsaw Body Only. On website is says its coming with: 1x Blade, 1x Dust Extraction Adapter, 1x Dust Cover, 1x Splinter Guard, 1x Soft Shoe! I received just M18 FUEL FJS-0 18v, 1x Dust Extraction Adapter, 1x Soft Shoe the rest is missing! Very upset with purchase!

A pair of sawhorses was delivered damaged still waiting for a replacement seems to take forever was expecting to be able to be using by now, still haven’t heard when the replacement set is gonna come.

It was my first time using power tool world - I ordered a Hikoki battery circular saw I needed for a particular job. The item wasn't dispatched for a number of days, though after a few days a generic email was sent out saying that all orders were taking longer than expected to dispatch. So after almost a whole working week, the saw was finally dispatched. If the saw had been delivered by the Friday, it would have arrived in time for the job I want to use it for. However, (and I understand that PTW don't have much control over the competence of their contracted couriers) the package was 'attempted' for delivery twice, but in couriers terms this generally means 'we couldn't be bothered to deliver your package'. This meant that the saw wasn't delivered until over a week after ordering, on the third 'attempt' by the couriers. By which time the particular job I'd intended to use the saw for had come and gone. In the intervening time before delivery, I had rang PTW and a nice lady told me that if I were to return the saw or refuse delivery (due to it arriving with me late) I would incur a admin/restocking fee from PTW - which I hardly see as fair customer service when it took them so long to get the saw to me. I suppose PTW could blame their courier for the late delivery, but as far as I'm concerned until I receive the product that I've bought, it's the sellers responsibility. So for this reason I'd probably not use Power Tool World again - on principle i'd very much resent being charged to return a product if it arrives with me too late, or isn't quite right.

Great bit of kit only thing was it said next day delivery on website . Went to checkout and only had 2-3 day options which meant I was at work and had to have it put to a delivery point. Wish I paid an extra £10 to its tools who do give you next day delivery free. Had to do job with out it.Order on Friday came Tuesday.

Great bit of kit but surprised it arrived with the awful packaging! No padding to stop tool being bashed about inside box and the external cardboard feel off its self prior to delivery. Disappointing.

I ordered with power tool world because they had the best price for the item and delivery to Northern Ireland and had good reviews for service. I ordered it with 2 day delivery. It wasn't delivered for 13 days. I contacted them 3 times through their online message system and received only automated replies. After 10 days I tried contacting them on Facebook tell separate times and only then did I get a reply but both times only to say they would like into it but got nothing further. I then got an email from DHL to say the collection had been arranged. The service was horrendous and I found it very disrespectful they didn't even reply to me. The only reason they got 2 stars was the price.

The Makita lawn mower turn up after a week , but after two weeks I still can’t assess the machine as it hasn’t started yet due to defective battery ,which I still await replacement. Disappointed T FIsher

Normally I would be 30” waist but there wasn’t an option so thought 32” with the free belt would be ok put them on and I can get both arms inside the waist line as well measured them from side to side and it was 17” think something went wrong somewhere

I'm rating you low for 2 reasons. One is that it took 8 days to get delivery. Deliveries with online orders are usually 5 or less days. The second reason is of more substance. There is some assembly required and that is fine in principle. But the manual indicates the line guard should have been on (no instructions for fitting it were given). It couldn't be fitted as the line holder spool was on and couldn't be removed because the guard wasn't there. Alsom the guard fitting used the kind of screws associated with factory fitting. The fault here is with DeWalt. The design requires the guard to be fitted, but what is in the box is a guard which can't be fitted. I had to butcher the gurad some to get it on. I have a long history of being delighted with DeWalt tools. This is not their usual standard at all.

Ordered on bank holiday Monday didn’t expect delivery until Wednesday due to the holiday period called on the Tuesday was told would be delivered next day delivery so works had been booked in to use the tool only for it to turn up at 815pm on the Thursday night having to hire a piece of equipment to cover the works Not happy haven’t used the product yet so can’t comment on it

The box was damaged and strapped with tape but the product was ok. I don't appear to have had an invoice which I need for the Bosch guarantee but I have failed to contact them by phone or email so not happy.
