Powertool world need to bin DPD. Never recieved my order, DPD advised a delivery schedule and I had no intention being in so instructed to deliver next door on the link they sent. They did not attempt too Next day delivery, I knew again i would not be in but understood from DPD they would deliver next door or return to depo. (No biggie its a few miles away, I am happy to collect from there) DPD again made no attempt to deliver next door and then I got an email saying my order would be getting returned to powertool world... not to the depo as they had stated on all thier previous correspondence. Spoke to Powertool World who said nothing they could do and would issue refund. Powertool World are less than 40mins drive away, so asked if I could come and collect order from them. No, they won't do that due to covid restrictions.. ( the restrictions that for the most part have been lifted and now all shops are open?) Recieved a refund, but seem ridiculous that businesses can operate in such a fashion, surely Powertool World have made a loss on the order by DPD collecting, trying (half heartedly) to deliver, then returning it. Whoever is managing online sales at Powertool World needs a kick up the .....

Hi , thank you for the feedback. We would like to apologise for what has clearly been a frustrating experience with our courier partner. I will take this up with them after the Bank Holiday weekend & feed back any information we can get from them. Our staff safety is of paramount importance & we , as you note do not have a Covid compliant collection point . For the safety of all concerned we cannot make exceptions even after messing up your delivery in the first instance. The Dewalt torch I ordered as a present for someone’s birthday came and the dewalt box was in a shocking condition. It was ripped and damaged on every corner and there was no seal so it seems like it had already been opened. I emailed the pictures and was told I could send it back for a full refund (not an option as it was for a birthday that was very soon) or I could get a £5 refund which I chose. However I am yet to receive the refund.

customer service was no help at all there product knowledge was terrible even down to telling me this item was now discontinued ??? its the very latest model??? got the feeling they just wanted to do sod all to try and help out not good at all

Its not worth the money. Battery does not run as shown, cuts to high, very flimsy, take to much room up , as handle doesn't fold. first cordless, or Bosch for that matter. Only wish I could send it back. I bought it as I'm a mature lady. But never again.

Pretty dreadful. I bought the Senco air gun starter kit (pc1010) and the gun was missing the male fitting that should be in the bottom of the gun. I rang up and was told it would be sent direct to me from Senco. That was three weeks and several phone calls ago. Nobody seems to care about the problem, and I get fobbed off on every call. Today I was told I would get £10 refunded and details of the correct fitting to buy so I could go and get the part myself. Recieved no info, and no refund. The mark of good customer service is not the sales that go right, but how the ones that go wrong are handled. Super disappointed in my purchase. Shouldn't have to pay an extra £10 after spending £300+ to get a product to work. I get that its poor QC at Senco but it can't take three weeks plus to get an airline fitting. Won't be using power tool world again.

Unfortunately , having chased the manufacturer for three weeks for the missing part to no avail we extended a £10 refund to allow you to source one locally. Can’t write a review! Never received the order. Your couriers DPD, don’t seem to have the time to think about how to deliver an item despite being instructed of how to do so.

Price was very good. I ordered a battery and chose free delivery, nevertheless, the battery arrived 2 days early. I had phoned the supplier for some advice prior to ordering and the man I spoke with was very unhelpful. My main complaint however is that the £120 battery was in a small box and had no padding whatsoever. I have tried the item and it seems fine but more through luck than judgement. I got away with it this time but I wouldn't use this company again for anything that I consider delicate.

The product I received was very good , my complaint is the article cost just over £50 , but I had to pay nearly £20 in carriage as I live in Inverness . Power tool world is a good company but I find this very unfair . It is within the uk . Gordon Henderson .

I your feel you policy's imposed on the delivery company made it difficult for the item to be delivered. No leave in porch, not able to leave parcel at one of their delivery points. They had to try to deliver the item 3 times . the third time they did deliver after I left a virtual begging note on my door. Other wise the item would have been sent back to yourselves and you loosing your sale and me wondering if I would get my cash back.

The insistence on someone signing for the delivery made it stressful. I was out at work each time a delivery was attempted. Why can’t the package be left in a safe place like other organisations do?

DPD do have options if you are not going to be in such as rescheduling delivery for another day or leaving with a neighbour. Very poor customer response. The product I'd ordered got damaged during shipping and I could see from the tracking that it had gotten so far and was then heading back. I contacted them to find out why there was a delay in delivering and they said it was with the Returns team awaiting processing. I argued that it was not a return but damaged in transit and I was told that that was company policy. When I phoned again it turned out that they had received damaged product 4 days prior and were still "processing" . Customer Service could still not see why this was not my problem - I just wanted the goods I'd ordered. Eventually I received the goods after 10 days when it should have been 2. Never got an apology or notification or anything. Won't use again.

Very prompt service BUT let down very badly by the delivery firm (DPD) all because they can’t follow basic orders! And because of that it impacted on my work, it cost me money because I couldn’t charge battery’s. Will order again but will insist don’t use them!!!

When I received the drill, the plug on the charger was broken. Not a problem, I contacted customer services who were great and sent me a return label which I printed out and had to find my nearest drop off point to drop off. I had been asked if I would like a refund or replacement, I stated I wanted a replacement as it was a present. I heard nothing so messaged a couple of times requesting when the replacement might be arriving. Then I get an email saying I’m getting a refund. No explanation. Really disappointed and had to wait a week for my refund to clear before I could order another one with another company. You were great with getting item delivered quickly and organising return, but no good with the communication after I returned the drill. An email apology would have been nice, at least I would have known what was going on and you possibly couldn’t replace the item, but having to chase you was not good, and it was you that gave me the choice of replacement or refund, then decided to give me a refund even though I had twice requested a replacement. Fortunately there are a lot of companies similar to yours, so plenty of choice to go elsewhere and I actually got it a few pounds cheaper.

I received half my order late as I’d paid for Saturday delivery and received it on Monday. so I had to make other arrangements at work due to needing it at work Monday, as I was working away i had to struggle all week without it . Then it was damaged. Dpd collected and I don’t have no clue when I’ll be getting a replacement.
