When I placed the order it didn't say it was a made up kit. So declined from Makita a free battery 1x BL1850B (632F15-1). Could have purchased from another dealer and received the free battery. Power Tool World did offered to take it back, but I had already tried out the tool. Thank you for taking part in the Makita Free Gift promotion, your application for your 1x BL1850B (632F15-1) has been declined, for the following reason; Dealer made kits are not applicable/do not qualify

The status of my order was Picking for nearly 72 hours. Not enough Staff? Customer Service very slow to respond to emailed query regarding battery charger. Not enough Staff? Ultimately decided to throw away charger that was clearly faulty and go elsewhere.

After getting in touch with them about the issue the day after i received it was asked a couple of days later to do a video of it in use because they and Bosch needed proof and have heard nothing after a week

Parcel went missing. Process to resolve took far too long and my emails were eventually ignored/not replied to. Had to escalate via Paypal to get resolved and receive my money back.

One of the batteries is a doa and not very useful help from ptw cust services, I have only ever had 2 doa bosch batts in 15yrs!! And to say its a faff to get this changed over under a week old is a nightmare, i may just chose to not deal with ptw (cg fixings) after this fiasco, I have been loyal to them for yrs and they shun folk like they have!! Disgusting

I ordered a Makita impact driver. I expected a new product in original packaging. I received the impact driver in a plain white box with two scrappy pieces of bubble wrap offering no protection whatsoever. Because of this it appeared it was either a return or ex demo. Having spoken to the customer service team they assured me that this was a new unit, and this is how they supply product if the customer purchases a body only. I suggested that if this was the case then they should make it clearer on their website. Their response was that they do not have to! This is probably because if they did nobody would purchase them! I still find it hard to believe that Makita, who probably spend millions on product packaging, conformance, environmental and approvals allow them to simply take their product and send it out in a plain white box with a couple pieces of bubble wrap - But apparently, they do! Shame on you Makita. I have given a 2 as i believe they are no being up front about what they are selling.

Tried to track order, couriers app said returned, tried contacting Powertool world but message saying phone system was down. Emailed but the following day had an email advising of refund. Eventually via live chat contacted Powertool world to be told that I couldn’t reorder at the same price. Went elsewhere and got the tool next day.

Ordered as per web site stating all orders would be delivered prior to Xmas Three times DPD failed to attempt delivery ! I contacted DPD to ask why they had failed on three occasions and was told they would deliver the Wednesday after Xmas this was a week later !! I contacted power tool world and cancelled the order Will not order from them again due to there delivery company ! Still waiting the refund when they received the item prior to Xmas ! AVOID until they get a decent delivery company

Advised of guide fence issue and repacked the tool. Was asked to unpack and take a photo of fence and a replacement was to be sent out to receive the next day. Waiting home for replacement to be told, as it should have been arriving, that the part isn’t available.I can only guess they wanted proof so told me a part was being sent just so I’d unpack and send the picture. Had to get another mitre saw elsewhere.Cost me a few days work before Xmas. I can’t see myself ordering from here in the near future.
